I had been carrying my vehicles to a so called reputable place in Cartersville for years and the prices and service had gotten terrible. Prices high, service low. I carried my wife's vehicle in for an issue with alternator after getting all kinds of different opinions from the so called reputable place. I dropped it off and had my wife bring me back home. I got a call in about 1 hour telling me her vehicle was ready and when they gave me the price, I was more than excited, It was very reasonable! I carried my neighbors truck to them after the so called reputable place kept it for two weeks and said they couldnt find anything wrong with it and why it wouldnt start. WB's Auto repair had it diagnosed and repaired on less than a few hours. Not only has this place earned my business but also my neighbors. If you are having issues with your vehicle I suggest you give this place just one try. You will also be a new customer afterwards! Great job Bob and John! Keep up the good work!

These guys did really good work on my first car I brought up there but it was definitely expensive…read more The reason I'm giving this a one star review is due to the work they did on the other car I brought up there. They were nice to me over the phone for at least a little bit until I began being complicated. The reason I was being complicated was due to the overpricing to change out ignition coils that I could do myself and did do after, it was also due to waiting days to get any news about what was going on with the car, and the amount they charged us to replace the alternator (we brought one in) and to flush the coolant was around $760. This price is ridiculously high for an alternator that is on the top of the engine bay. Prices here are really high specifically the labor, arguably not competitive. While it was on me for taking this car to somewhere I know is more expensive this was the only mechanic shop I really went to so I did not feel comfortable sending my mom to another mechanic shop while I was off at school. I will say Stacy (I believe is her name) is really nice and was really sweet to me. While this work was done sometime around August of last year I really do not understand how they would not inform us that the ignition coil connectors on the front side of the engine were so broken they would not stay in. I did repeatedly informed them that I believe those are the ones that needed replace and I was under the impression that those were the ones they would be replacing. Additionally the wires in the connector for the cam position sensor was very lose inside the connector to the point one bump knocked it lose and showed what is a knotted wires that was shoved in the connector. While I don't blame them completely for this I believe this should have been found while replacing the connector in the back of the engine bay. We eventually had to call out another mechanic to come and redue the work that they had done and honestly Andy's garage's work felt rushed and did not look anywhere close to what we paid even though they had the car for quite some time. Additionally the mechanic was 1/3 of the price as here and was upfront about everything and honestly looked like his work was worth the $1500 I paid here. Finally, while they have been really nice to me, they were rude to my brother who brought the van up there to get fixed and did not listen to my mom about anything that she said was a concern about the vehicle. I definitely will not be coming back.

Driving to this place was completely worth the trip. All of the staff (including the owner of the establishment) were incredibly professional and friendly to me. They explained what was wrong with my tire in a way that I could understand, without making me feel stupid (as a female, I really appreciate this - I've had it up to here with condescending car guys!). They were able to find a solution for me at less than half the price of the dealership, and were able to solve my problem on the spot (with less than 45 minutes of waiting from the time I walked in to the time I drove away). They offered to check my tire pressure whenever I needed it, and answered every question I had (and I tend to ask a lot of them - trust me). Something to note: This place isn't spotless, and doesn't have a waiting area with TV's, etc. like the big dealerships do. I'm fine with this, because I didn't have to wait long, and I don't want all of those fancy overhead costs factored into the price of my repair anyway. I'm just saying if that you're expecting guys in suits or an espressor machine in the lobby, this isn't the place for you. Even though they're called "Captain Tire", it turns out that they do all kinds of car repair, not just tires. For this reason, I plan to take all of my family's cars here when they have issues that aren't covered under warranty. I'm so glad to have found a trustworthy place to have my car fixed without paying dealership prices!

Was told the hood latch cables and hood latches all had to be replaced. Estimated parts and labor was over $500. ACTUAL REMEDY: replaced the one cable that Rudy's broke for $10 and put WD40 on the latches.
