Worse experience of my life. I've used captains ALOT for different things. But never have I been treated so badly. I called last Tuesday he said bring it Wednesday he'd get to it. I took it and dropped it off Tues because that's when I had a way. He didn't do anything Wednesday Thursday or ever Friday. On Monday I called and said Thursday was the start of my vacation and they assured me it would be fixed. Lied to again no phone call Tuesday. Wednesday I was fuming I call all I got was I'm working on it. Thursday vacation day still no communication. I've lost my deposit at this point. But do they care no. Finally 5: 00 it was ready but too late for me to go anywhere. But nice of him to say your bill is 311.97. just make it 300 I guess that 11 is supposed to help with that 400.09 I lost. This place was recommended to me by my boss when I had a flat that I needed repaired. I first went to the dealership in town, who couldn't fix my tire and didn't have a new tire available. Driving to this place was completely worth the trip. All of the staff (including the owner of the establishment) were incredibly professional and friendly to me. They explained what was wrong with my tire in a way that I could understand, without making me feel stupid (as a female, I really appreciate this - I've had it up to here with condescending car guys!). They were able to find a solution for me at less than half the price of the dealership, and were able to solve my problem on the spot (with less than 45 minutes of waiting from the time I walked in to the time I drove away). They offered to check my tire pressure whenever I needed it, and answered every question I had (and I tend to ask a lot of them - trust me). Something to note: This place isn't spotless, and doesn't have a waiting area with TV's, etc. like the big dealerships do. I'm fine with this, because I didn't have to wait long, and I don't want all of those fancy overhead costs factored into the price of my repair anyway. I'm just saying if that you're expecting guys in suits or an espressor machine in the lobby, this isn't the place for you. Even though they're called "Captain Tire", it turns out that they do all kinds of car repair, not just tires. For this reason, I plan to take all of my family's cars here when they have issues that aren't covered under warranty. I'm so glad to have found a trustworthy place to have my car fixed without paying dealership prices! read more

Great place. I needed wheels changed out on my truck. New lug nuts, whole thing. They were busy but the guy squeezed me in, cut me a break on the lug nuts, charged a fair price for the labor, and got me out of there quick. Been there a few other times and always good work at fair prices. read more

The mechanic was clueless,he spent all day removing an alternator from my Honda, destroyed the engine cover, damaged the ac system. In an attempted to remove the serpentine belt.after getting home u did the same thing in 60 second s after doing 1min research on the internet. Never never go there. read more

Do not go to this place!! Mechanics are not expierence. They charged me $160 to do a brake job and I already had the brakes purchased and they did not adjust brakes properly at all. Car doesn't even have E brake working at this point and it's a 2016. Complete rip off. read more

Do not have an oil change at Captain Tire they left the pan loose and all our oil drained out after leaving the lot . Wondered why the oil light stayed on. Had to take him to court once we found him to serve papers he hide from people serving papers so he knew he messed up but don't care. read more

I've been going to Captain Tire for some years now and have always gotten great, courteous service. It seems these guys really care about personal service and I feel like they go above and beyond what a lot of others do. And as my experience, they are super honest about any situation, I've never felt like they were trying to make an extra buck off me, though others have tried and it's irritating. Great place to get service. Just saved me $2000. Another repair shop stripped my oil plug. Then wanted $2000 to replace oil pan. Took it to Mike's. Asked for bid to replace pan. He said, could drill out plug and replace with larger plug for $70. It worked. Would highly recommend Mike Ford Auto Repair. Skip Jackson, a happy customer!!! read more

I have been going to Captain Tire for years. I love smaller towns where people know you by name. I was headed out of town with boy scouts for a camping trip. I notice a nail in my tire. Captain tire had it fixed in 10 minutes and did not even charge me. They also find less expensive ways to do things and save me money. My experience is that not many mechanics do that.
