Received a flat tire on the way to Savannah GA. I ended up at this Good Year because it had my tires in stock. I'm super glad I did. I had purchased tires within the last year in Virginia with the road side hazard package, so I thought I was clear to get my tire replaced free of charge. The manager informed me that the previous shop didn't set up my road side hazard package correctly, preventing work to be performed under the agreement in the road side hazard purchase - even though my account showed I purchased the package. Duane, the store manager, explained the situation thoroughly and offered to attempt to resolve the issue personally. He called the VA shop, and my record was updated in 10mins, allowing work to be performed free of charge as outlined in the road side hazard package. CarMax scheduled an appointment for me at the Berwick location on Ogeechee Rd in Savannah, GA, to repair my tire, and I had the most pleasant experience. I will definitely return for oil changes and any other services my car may need! As soon as I entered, the young lady assisted right away, and clearly communicated the services that would be provided. I want to give a SHOUT-OUT to Dewayne - I do hope I remembered the gentleman's name correctly (age has no mercy)! He kindly offered and brought out cold and room temperature waters for everyone in the waiting area. The area was clean with amenities including Wi-Fi, coffee, etc. During our conversation, Dewayne and I talked about my Genesis; his wife also has one, and he even recommended a few places for cleaning my car. He mentioned he visits various Goodyear locations, and I hope that each site adopts some of Dewayne's excellent customer service!! I went to get an oil change they upcharged me 96$!! Then i waited for 2+ hours. they never asked me when i dropped off the car, what kind of services i would've liked. So they took it upon themselves to sell me the most expensive service. everyone was extremely rude including the technicians. would not recommend to anyone!!! take your time and business elsewhere. read more

I had my truck towed to Goodyear thinking my starter was gone and needing a new one. Well how about the technician called me and said it was just the battery connectors and it would be $126.70! This place used to be my go-to for my oil changes. Fast, courteous and always reliable, unfortunately that's no longer the case. Customer service guy at the counter is rude, inconsiderate and ambivalent. My appointment was for 8 am and just for an oil change. I specifically asked him the turn time because of a work matter. It took 1.5 hours to complete. No apologies for what used to take 30 minutes. Definitely won't be back. read more

Went here to get my tire patched because it got a nail in it. They took my tire in the back and after a minute they told me it was completely shredded and I would need a new tire for 261.89. Thinking it was sketchy I took it to Savannah Tire on Abercorn where they patched it for 25 bucks and told me nothing was shredded and it was a standard patch. If I could give 0 stars I would. You make your own decision but I'm never going back to con artists that pray on your money in a pandemic. Thanks for exposing yourself! read more

It's always comforting to know there are still awesome people in this world. I had a blowout on I-95 and found out my spare was close to blowing as well. I was with my 90 year old father approaching closing hours for many shops on a Saturday. Called this location and they didn't have my size and would be able to since it was an odd size. TERRY who took my call understood my situation and asked if she could put me on hold to search the area for me. She found the only location it seems in Georgia and I was able limp my car to get to the other tire center 60 miles away. Although it was a competitor Terry took it upon herself to help some stranded motorist and saved us from so much heartache. For that I can't that her enough and it proves that Goodyear has some top-notch customer service representatives on hand and I will forever thank her for her efforts and to tout Goodyear whenever I tell this crazy story. I took my car here last week to get it looked at because it was running hot, I called to explain the problem and they said they'd take a look. Long story short they told me my cars Head gasket was blown and needed to be fixed and said they couldn't fix it to take it to the dealership or something else. So I took it to Streets and Sons in Garden City, and they looked at it and said it definitely wasn't the Head Gasket it was the Thermostat.. (which I told Goodyear that's what we thought it was and they denied it) I'm so thankful I took it somewhere else and not replaced the motor .. it would costed me 3,000$ for a new motor when all I needed was the Thermostat replaced. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CAR, they don't care. read more

Sorely disappointed in this location. Have had decent service in the past, which prevents me from one-starring. Last month, we noticed a tire was wearing faster than the others. We were about to embark on Christmas break and money was tight. We just had to take a loan out to replace the engine on our vehicle. Spent another $200 to replace an engine oil sensor. Explained this all to the technicians. We were given a $1300 quote. Woah! For what? I get that it serves them best to replace everything that is wrong, and even to do things in pairs, even if not required, just because if left is worn, right is soon to follow, right? Here's the breakdown of what they wanted to do: Replace upper control arm on the left and the right (only left was worn). Replace sway bar links (OK, but it doesn't affect alignment - only cornering properties). Align, replace tire, and add on a new road hazard plan. Here's the rub. I took it to Savannah tire and I got the single control arm replaced for $390. They moved my worn tire to the back - it was worn more than the other three, but not even down to the wear markers yet. I replaced the sway bar links myself for $30 - I could have done it for less than $10 if I bought off Amazon. So, whereas I appreciate Goodyear wanting to make everything as whole as possible, honestly, that $900 difference was a huge turnoff. They COULD have done what was necessary for a road trip (the single arm and move the tire to the rear) but they didn't even mention that despite our inability to cover a $1300 job. I don't think I'll be buying tires from them in the future. read more

I called in advance to set up an appointment to have my 08 Toyota Tundra have an alignment done. When I called, the person quoted me a price of $89.99 after asking me the make and model of my truck. When I got to the shop I was informed that the price was $114.00 because this was the price for a large truck. I protested letting them know the price I was quoted AFTER they had asked the make and model of vehicle. They didn't care and charged me the higher price anyway, had to pay since I didn't have time to go elsewhere, but I WON'T BE BACK!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! I WONT BE BACK! Update: I had a 10:00 appointment that I was 20 minutes early to, (I arrived at 9:40,) but my truck wasn't taken into the shop until 10:25! read more

VERY SLOW. Made an appointment to have my oil changed, showed up 15 minutes prior. Even with making the appointment it took them two hours to complete it. Would not recommend for just a basic oil change. read more

This location has very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I went in for an oil change a few months ago. The service manager did get onto me about how long it had been since my last one, but I needed to hear it, being a single mom, oil changes are the last thing on my mind. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and making sure they are taken care of. I didn't feel pressured and they had me in and out quicker than I had expected. I will definately be going back for my future automotive needs and recommend this location for anyone in the Savannah area. read more

Went to go get an oil change Jan 16, 2016 and was broke down on the side of the highway 7am the next morning with my kids and husband in my 2014 Chevy Cruze due to them leaving my oil cap off putting oil all over my engine and my car smoking ...... I call them and they towed my car to their establishment and they clean off the oil put more oil in it and say everything should be fine.... What piss me off the most I was unable to speak to a manager , email the district manager still waiting on a reply , and wasn't offer a discount ,another oil change or anything for my inconvenience..... Nicole the front desk associate wasn't all that knowledgeable on what to do and I ask her am i going to get some type of courtesy but all I got was an apology after I had to ask for one...... Very slow. I called 30 minutes ahead to see if they had time to mount/balance two new tires. I was told they could get me right in. When I arrived, they said it would be 10-15 minutes before they could get to me, and maybe another 20 minutes to put the tires on. Two hours later I was still waiting. I arrived at 4:30 p.m. I didn't get out of there until after 6:30 p.m. There were three cars in front of me. The price of $40 total seems a little high, but not a deal-breaker. They said they had WiFi, but I could not connect. There was an HBO R-rated movie playing on the TV in the lobby with the F-word flying like crazy. However, they did the job I paid them to do - just very slowly. read more

Made an appointment for an oil change at 2 PM. Even arrived 15 minutes early. Took 30 minutes for our vehicle to be brought back and finally walked out at 4 PM with the oil change completed. A customer that walked in an hour after us left at the same time with her oil change. Not the best time management and we are pretty patient people.
