I recently purchased 2 tires , 1 developed a slow leak, made appointment to check it out, counter girl took a spray bottle of soap and water to check tire, told me side wall was damaged ( no visible damage) I would need a new tire for $240. and also have a damaged rear tire that needs replacement and I should buy road hazard insurance , upswell, upswell,upswell, never took the car inside the shop!! went across the street to tire kingdom, now mavis tire. they took the car inside removed from the vehicle checked it out completely no damage to tire but couldn't determine leak, sometimes very hard to find, replaced needle valve and didn't charge me a cent!!! also told me $168 plus tax for new tire not $240. including mount & balance. read more

The team at Goodyear Auto Center was outstanding! We arrived stranded with my dad who has Parkinson's and can barely walk, my elderly mom, and our three eight-year-old triplets. They were very courteous and immediately fixed the hole in our tire. They saw our difficult situation and stepped in right away to help. We were back on the road in no time. I've been a Goodyear loyalist for over 20 years and I was lied to today and was told there was no vehicle history in the computer which was this Service Manager's basis for running up all the services absolutely needed today. Waited 2 hrs for an oil change and tire rotation, with an appointment, and it would have been longer if I had not asked about progress. Terrible, just terrible. read more

I was recently having problems with my back tire. I thought that it was flat and that a possible nail had gone through it. So I brought my car here because they do great service when it comes to patching tires. The problem was that there wasn't even a hole in my tire. I Recently had service with this location, they saved me over $400 due to their professionalism and their honesty. The dealership told me I needed 4 services that I absolutely needed to get done immediately. I listened to my gut and Got a second opinion and lo and behold I didn't need any of them done except for a new belt. Other than that my car has been in great shape. In a time where people have to watch their spending due to the pandemic, this location did not try to take advantage of me like the Wesley chapel Nissan Dealership off 54. I needed new valve stems installed in my lifted f250. With this virus outbreak it's been hard to save money or even find a shop that is open when I'm available. I took my truck in there and they were nice enough to replace all four valve stems FREE OF CHARGE!!! I'm very great full for this and will be going back for more work I may need. I highly recommend going through Goodyear. They take the extra step in ensuring your vehicle is properly accounted for during these uncertain times were are currently in!! read more

This is my first yelp review but I decided the lack of customer service needed to be addressed. The manager was not even willing to look at a tire that I needed patched and told me because I temporarily patched it myself he wasn't able to do anything. Very rude! This auto repair shop is the worst. I took a car there to have my air conditioning fixed because it intermittently switched to blowing out the slots used by the front window defrost instead of vents for passengers. They charged for diagnostic, worked on it, and it worked right for one day. Their tech told me that if the repair that they did the first time didn't fix it, they would have to take apart the dash to get at the air conditioning system and the repair would be $1500. I didn't bother taking it back to them. I did take it to Donovan's in Lutz. They found and fixed a bad solenoid, saved the bad part, showed me exactly where the problem was, and I was on my way for $200. This negative review of Superior Auto in Wesley Chapel probably never would have been written except that we took my wife's car to the Honda dealership yesterday. My wife drives a CRV that Goodyear replaced a leaky radiator on. The Honda dealership reported to us that the bottom of her radiator was coated with epoxy. Just a coincidence, I'm sure. I would not go to this shop if they were the last place on Earth to get a car repaired. read more

This review is base on two (2) occasions I went for service at Superior Goodyear Auto Centers on Wesley Chapel Blvd. I don't give someone a really bad review unless I truely feel the services were below average, and this place is [in my opinion] BELOW AVERAGE. Let me explain the two experiences I have there, and you can decide what you believe. The first time I went there was for getting an estimate on NEW BRAKES, and here's how it went. The gentleman was courteous and showed me the price on the display behind the counter and said that to get a true estimate, they'd have to inspect the brakes. [So far so good] I had an advertisement to have the inspection/estimate done for free. After the inspection, a gentleman came and sat next to me in the waiting area and began explaining how my brakes were and that he believed I not only needed brakes but needed to replace the calipers [forgive me if I get the name wrong]. His explanation and demeanor seemed correct and nice, but then he explained how the $170 (plus tax etc.) brake replacement would now cost about $600. WOW ALMOST 4X THE LISTED COST. I thanked him and told him I'd think about it. I went to two other places to get a comparison, and I waited until after they gave me their estimate to ask if there was any problem with the brake system and calipers. Neither place had initially determined that the calipers were bad, and after I asked them to double check, both other auto shops told me that the brake system and colliers were fine. I just needed new brake pads. I decided to go with one of the other auto shops. I SAVED ABOUT $425 BY GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE! The second time I went for service at Superior Goodyear Auto Centers on Wesley Chapel Blvd, it was for an OIL & FILTER CHANGE SERVICE. Even though I had a bad experience the first time here, I came back because of an advertisement for an OIL & FILTER CHANGE SERVICE. The price was cheap. That's why I went back. I asked if they check the other fluids to see if they need filling, and the manager said, "yes, that's part of the service." [Great, I thought] They did the oil and filter change. I left satisfied, until three (3) days later, when I started having engine noise when the van turned or started after a while of being off. I brought the van to a friend, and he quickly found that the POWER STEERING FUILD WAS NEAR EMPTY. My friend told me unless I have a leak, the power steering fluid should be the same now as when the Superior Goodyear Auto Center said they checked the fluids. I bought and put the ($5) power steering fluid in and waited two weeks to recheck the fluid and see if it had gone down, indicating a leak. The fluid was at the same level, meaning no leak, and that Superior Goodyear Auto Center hadn't checked the other fluids when doing the oil change service. DON'T TRUST THIS STORE!!!! GET A SECOND OR THIRD ESTIMATE!!! CHECK THEIR WORK AFTER IT'S DONE (OR GO SOMWHERE THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY). read more

I told my wife to go there for a simple oil change unfortunately they try to upsell her on everything for whatever reason it appears they never change the oil after she told them 5 or 6 times to do it they charged us for it but we went to another repair shop and as it turns out they only replace the oil filter no new oil was ever added this place is very corrupt and dishonest beware read more

Great Service. I went there to stop a slow tire leak for one of the tires I bought there almost a year ago, and they quickly fixed that - leak was due to some corrosion around the rim. But when I was leaving the car, which was already having problems with starting, would not start. Sure enough it needed a new starter and they got the right starter, installed it, noticed and repaired frayed wires. Car starts great. read more

Recently, I was traveling over a holiday weekend. I was headed back to Atlanta when I ran over road debris and suddenly had a tire that needed immediate attention. Traveling alone with 400 miles ahead of me, I turned to Google for help searching GoodYear, since I purchased them at my local GoodYear. Google maps did sent me on a wild goose chase to find the Wesley Chapel GoodYear. However, I was blessed that I was not stranded on the highway and that they were open!!! While it was obvious, they were very busy, I explained my situation to Shannon. He kindly agreed to "work me in". Being from Atlanta, I expected that to mean a minimum 3 hour wait....however, again, i was fortunate to have found help. To my surprise, they had my car in the garage within 15 minutes. The technician determined that not one but two tires had bolts/screws in them. The tires were repaired and I was on my way within 40 minutes!!! I was so grateful for their willingness to help, the prompt response AND the fact, they did the repair without charge. It was so refreshing to receive this level of service. From what i understand, Shannon and his team have recently started managing this location and that the reputation of the previous manager was less than stellar. I was super happy they started opening on Sunday's. I was due for an oil change and my light telling me one of the tire's had low pressure. When I dropped off the car the lady working there recommended a more expensive oil change immediately. I told her about my tire and she immediately told me something was wrong w/ it besides needing air. Wow, she didn't even look at the car and already was telling me something was wrong! My husband and I went home and they said they would call us when it was done. She called us shortly to inform us we had a nail in the tire and had to buy another one plus get an alignment bcuz it's messing all the other tires. My husband told them no, just the oil change. Two hours past and she didn't call back so I called to check if it was done. Of course, it was completed. Maybe she was waiting for everyone else to close so I couldn't get a second opinion. When we picked up the car I took it to a different shop down the street. The man took a glance at the nail. He went back in the shop and came back w/ a pair of pliers and a bottle of Windex. He pulled out the 1/2 inch nail sprayed the tire and found out it was fine. They have lost my business after many years of going there. read more

I made an online appointment a week before a planned trip out of state to have an oil change, wiper blades replaced, air filter change and one of my headlight replaced. When I arrived to drop it off, the guy who signed me in was apparently frazzled from all the customers coming in to drop off vehicles and from all the online appointments some had made-including myself. I went over every thing that needed to be done and that I had already put in while making my online appointment. I was dropping off and while I was waiting for my ride I had to listen to the guys working the desk complain about how busy they were, the appointments that were made & accepted by their online system and complaining about customers in front of other customers. I should have asked for my keys and left but again-was going out of town and needed these things taken care of. They were so unprofessional and were nice/nasty to each customer who came in and then when they left continued to talk negatively about them and what needed to be done. It was so weird to have a place not want the business that was coming in to them. When I picked my car up-they only did the oil change and air filter change. No wiper blade replacement (don't they live for that?) and no headlight change. They claim the headlight lens was damaged and needed a whole new headlight. Not the case-needed a new lens. I would definitely NOT recommend this location. I normally go to the one in South Tampa but was visiting my sister for the weekend and figured I would just go here. NEVER AGAIN! When I politely declined to give my address and asked if there was a decline choice I was told that I could go somewhere else and denied service. It is clear to me now why tire kingdom, which was 2 minutes down the street, had a three hour wait and the Goodyear parking lot was empty. read more

I brought it across the street where the tire was fixed with no problems and the technician said there was no visible previous repairs or patches. Just had service at this location. I had a leaking tire for the entire week. Stopped by to get my tire filled with air twice in the morning before work. Each time, the staff was friendly and promptly filled my tire without question and free of charge. Finally, I had time to look into the problem on Sunday morning. Shannon, working the front desk, told me they were extremely busy and my wait would be about two hours. I told him I would wait. Within five minutes, he walked out to my car in the parking lot and found the problem (a nail embedded in the tread). He put a "rush" on my car, repaired the tire, and had be out in about fifteen minutes. Again, no charge. I can't be more thrilled. First, it was fast, efficient, and service with respect for the customer and manners. Second, it is within my are of residence and I alway like to support area businesses.
