Come here for lunch sometimes and order the low calorie plate with chicken. The chicken is always perfectly cooked and ever since I had this for the first time I have been obsessed with cottage cheese and peaches. They are also fast at taking your order and getting it to you in a timely manner which is perfect cause I don't have much time on my lunch. read more

I came here tonight and got us To go orders tonight. Ordered the Greek salad and some tacos and some other items. When we got home just as I put on the salad dressing I found a black short hair laying on my food in the salad. I about puked. Then I open my taco box and find all the tacos with just cheese and chicken in the shell. I called them up and talked to a girl named cindytha. I asked for a manager and she said there's no manager just a owner and he's not in and doesn't come here often. First she said she was going to refund all my money back, then she said she was just going to remake me a salad and I told her I didn't want no more food from there because I was disgusted the first time. She told me to bring back my food tomorrow and the salad and she will just refund me for just my salad. Really she wanted me to keep day old food and bring it back??? No manager, no owner around to talk To and rude customer service I am so upset. This food was terrible and to find a hair in it while eating is just gross. Maybe the cooks & all the kitchen crew should be all wearing hair nets when handling food. I hope everybody who eats here checks there food. Never coming back here again! I had high hopes for here...being that I tried this place one time before but never again. Very disappointed. read more

Can't say anything bad about this one, its the oldest one in the valley, but not the greatest one. Never had a bad meal there!

This is over priced garbage. If you want a greasy spoon lunch, go to Burger Time across the freeway. If you want breakfast, go to IHOP. They are ALWAYS out of some ingredient, like turkey or avacados-seriously. Their waffle maker is ALWAYS OFF, because they admit they don't turn it on if they think it won't be busy. Well, once you've had it turned off for three years don't expect people to come here for waffles. Mission accomplished. The lettuce is white, iceberg junk. Just don't bother. There is variety but it is poorly done in each category. This place used to be good 6 or 7 years ago and it is living off reputation. The bathroom is clogged and dirty 90% of the time. read more

My fiancée her son and I have been coming here for 20 years and our last few experiences have been horrible, we ate lunch their yesterday and both had to return our food, my fiancé ordered the taquito plate and SPECIFICAlly asked for them not to be over cooked and when she received them they where rock hard so she tried eat one before asking for new ones and they where not edible, so we returned the taquitos along with beans and sourcream to have them remade and when they came back out she got 3 taquitos which where still over cooked with some lettuce. Zero out of Five stars if I could, this use to be the one place I could count on for great food and great service! Yesterday 9/24/18 me and my girlfriend went to goodies after the gym, I admit it was close to closing. We arrived at 8:45 to order our food and as we walk in a female worker tells us sorry we are closed! Everything was spotless and clean, so they had already cleaned and closed down like it was after 9. At the door when we left a family was trying to walk in to get food as well ( also turned away) . I know if it was my business and five customers got turned away during business hours I would be furious. So for this reason I will take mine and my family's business elsewhere. read more

Place is horrible and will never come back again! First off thought this would be cheaper than going to a Fridays or chilis. WRONG! Everything is a la carte and cost $10 for a club sandwhich with fries and a drink. Could have got a way better one a Fridays for $9 that actually has meat on it. Also got an egg sandwich assuming it was a fried egg but was scrambled. Never asked how I wanted my egg! The worst part was after spending $14 on nothing special food my gf wanted some ranch for her club sandwich and fries and they had the nerve to charge 75 cents for it! Surprise they don't charge for the ketchup and napkins too. The lady behind the counter never cracked a smile once and there has been chips and sugar packets on the floor with a wet floor sign next to them since we got here! This has to be one of the worst food places I have been to in palm desert. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I love Goody's. I have been coming here for over 10 years. My favorite dishes are the pancakes, waffles, French toast, and omelets.

I love their Reuben Sandwich so much I wanna take it around the back and get it pregnant !!

I honestly was not impressed with this place at all. The eggs Benedict was awful. It gets two stars for the strawberry topped waffle that saved the day. read more

My mom was craving a burger and this place popped into mind. It was my first time at Goody's and I would go back. The place reminds me of a cross between a classic deli and a diner. They have everything you can possibly imagine if you walked into either - burgers, deli sandwiches, gyros, fried chicken and even fish tacos (well, we are in SoCal:-)). The seating is comfortable - in booths, like a diner. We both got burgers (I got mine with avocado and bacon). Despite the fact that the burger was not the quarter pounder I was expecting, it was pretty tasty with tons of fixings, including pickles - my favorite - and a "special sauce" (which is almost always ketchup and mayo mixed together). And the fries came out super hot and crispy! I'm looking forward to going back to check out their breakfast. read more

This is great breakfast food for people that love huge breakfasts! They have a very large menu, including healthy options like fruit and cottage cheese! I LOVE the fact that they have hazelnut creamer for their coffee! The workers are very nice and hard-working! This place is terrible. It's old and dirty inside needs a big update like dynamite or napalm to demolish the place. It's always hot/warm in there never feel the A/C on. Come on owners put on the A/C maybe there to busy spending there customers money at Aqua Caliente casino. The prices are way overpriced for what you get. Service is terrible girls never have a smile on always look like they don't want to be there. There ketchup is always warm wonder how long it sits outside. Place is a joke. Tried there other new place by bob hope drive that is terrible too, place was dead and very expensive I'd rather go to In and Out next time right across the street. I consider myself very lucky that everywhere I have lived and worked in the Valley has had a Goody's Cafe within minutes. I eat here all the time. At this location and the Indio location. And both are amazing. I have never NOT been satisfied by the food. I often get asked by new customer's in the store "What is good?" Everything. Seems recently that all the fast food places around have taken huge hits in quality lately. In both food quality and service quality. But you can always count on Goody's. read more

Typical diner style eatery, you order up front and they deliver your food to your table. It's not going to win any culinary awards but if you want a wide variety of choices and a lot of it on your plate, this is your spot. Food was great and service was as well but a guy selling candy bars walks in and went to every table trying to sell. All the employees saw him and acted like it was normal. While I am eating a meal I do not want to be interrupted by any strangers. The guy was talking to me over my food and could have accidentally spit while talking on my food. I was served eggs scrambled with the ground beef, onions, and cheese -- fried like one big, thin egg -- with nacho sauce on top. It was DISGUSTING ! My kitchen flooded in December. We have been having it redone. We have had to eat out a LOT. been everywhere for breakfast and started coming to goodys. I love it here.
