Be prepared to wait but it will be worth it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Busy restaurant even in the morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loooooooooove Frankenmary it was a meal onto itself. Nice, spicy, and boozy! Love the shrimp and the burgers it came with. Boyfriend for the breakfast burrito he loved it too. You know the food is good when there's so many people. Great value and good place to stop before going to slab city or salvation mountain. Service was super nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can tell this restaurant is a community staples.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone was happy and it was good vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Interior and restroom were clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of parking outside

I've been on a bit of a diner kick lately and decided to stop in to Sloans for an early breakfast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Typical diner vibes. It's cozy, dated yet welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Located in the city of Indio, it's not hard to miss off of the busy highway 111 strip. We were seated right away and service was friendly and attentive. The staff seemed to share the responsibilities well as everyone was helping to keep glasses filled, tables cleared and our food came out reasonably quick despite the restaurant being busy. Prices are comparable to any chain diner type spot. The menu was large so there are plenty of options to pick from. They also had weekly specials and happy hour prices if you are looking for some deals. They have a full bar. I'd say the food was somewhere about a 3.5 out of 5. Run of the mill, okay breakfast options. The German pancakes were pretty good. Not the best in the desert but the spot we usually go is across town, so definitely was happy to find a good German pancake closer to home. Skip the eggs Benedict. While the concept of the Baja Benedict was good in theory, they couldn't execute the basics. The eggs were lukewarm and the English muffin was raw/almost no warmth to it. Wouldn't get again. Some missed here and that's just the way it goes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Keeping the service in mind and enjoying the overall comfortable atmosphere of the spot, bumping up to a 4/5 stars.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came here for breakfast on Thanksgiving day. This was one of the few places open and had good reviews. Server helped us get a table immediately. Food came out fairly quickly. I got the breakfast burrito which comes with rice and beans. Kids got the Nutella & strawberry crepe and wife got the Santa Fe omelette. The portion sizes were generous. Everything tasted good and the service was friendly. Overall had a good experience.

I came here with a friend and enjoyed! The service is top notch and they keep the hot, fresh coffee flowing! I really enjoyed that perk since a lot of breakfast spots that serve coffee don't refill or offer coffee as consistently and frequently as Sloan's. They also scored high with their food. It was served hot and fresh and seemed to be made to order which was great! I ordered a skillet which had bacon, ham and sausage. The skillet was filling and delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was decent and was like a typical casual style restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hopefully I can get back to Sloan's soon! Love that coffee!!

Came this local little family breakfast spot along join some peaceful time in the desert. Just a heads up it does get busy on a Sunday morning as the usual for breakfast spots that are good. After about a 20 minute wait so we got our table we seated fast and our waitress was prompt to take our order and get us drinks to our table. Now onto the food. This is some good old American old-fashioned diner/restaurant quality food .. the omelettes were big and tasty, and there was a slight egg surcharge added to each one of these, which I guess is par for the course nowadays but I wish the restaurant would absorb some of these costs. The farmers omelette was a mix of all three meat, bacon, sausage, and ham. This thing was delicious and Phil and the hashbrowns were extra crispy which I love. My wife got the veggie omelette and she said that was pretty good also which came at Home style potatoes which were crispy crunchy and also delicious. The pancakes at this place were great too slightly yellow and color tasted like buttermilk, soft, fluffy and warm. Loved these things also. Great little breakfast spot reasonable pricing good service. What more can you ask for on a Sunday morning go give it a shot. It's worth it.

Was in town with friends and came here for breakfast and we all really enjoyed the food. It's definitely a locals diner/restaurant vibe and despite being packed at 11am, they seated us right away. The food service was a bit slow but they were attentive and the portions were large which we appreciated as the price was a little steep. I got the gravy and sausage eggs Benedict and loved it. It was more so a biscuit, sausage and gravy muffin with the egg on top but it was so good. The gravy and what seemed like homemade biscuits were delish. By far one of my fav breakfasts I've ever had. My friends tried the crepes, chilaquiles and scramble and all really liked it. I also got the smaller Bloody Mary which was pretty cheap and decent. It was a good experience and I'll def be back when I'm in town!

The Low Carb grill was wonderful. The bacon was delicious. OTOH the chicken fried steak wasn't wonderful. The steak was overcooked to the point of being tough. My eggs were cooked wrong and the toast lacked butter. The service was excellent. A woman fell on the floor walking in because of a loose mat. Luckily she was okay. The interior is homey

When ever my family want to come spoil ourselves for breakfast, we come here to Sloans in Indio. We've been coming here for as long as we can remember. Always amazing staff. We all always order the German Pancakes, personally my favorite pancakes anywhere. You have to come try this

Spicy Bacon Omelette with egg whites
    Pavel R.

Sloan's in Indio embodies the charm of a classic American diner. The menu offers a good selection of traditional diner favorites. I had the spicy bacon omelette substituted with egg whites. The omelette was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and the spicy kick added the right amount of zest. I wish the hash browns were cooked a bit more, however. The service was attentive and fairly friendly.

The menu keeps it simple: burgers, fries, shakes. But when you do the basics right, that's all you need. Everything is made fresh to order, but somehow they keep the wait time quick. We grabbed a round of burgers and split some fries, and everything came out fast and hot. Burgers: 10/10. This is what they're known for, and for good reason. Fully customizable (go for the double though, trust me), with gooey cheese, fresh toppings, and that perfect thousand island style spread. One of the best classic burgers I've had in a long time. Fries: Don't sleep on the specialty fries. I went with the Fiesta Fries and HOLY HELL WERE THESE GOOD! Ground beef, shredded cheese, G sauce, sour cream...BOMB. Definitely a crowd favorite. Drinks: Washed it all down with an ice cold lemonade. Perfection. :) The hospitality was just as solid as the food. The staff here are friendly, welcoming, and all around great vibes. This spot is a gem and absolutely deserves the love. I will be back!

The location is actually two restaurants that operate in one building. When I got inside, the place was absolutely dead. No customers at all. That's always a sign... Cement and brick walls with nothing but a quote from Biggie on one wall and a picture of Guy Fieri on another THATS IT Took 20 min to get our food and when we did, we were VERY disappointed Portions are ridiculously small for what you pay (3-4 bite smash burger = $11) and the food wasn't anything special at all. Dropped $50 on 2 tiny burgers, 1 fry (tiny, $10 and blah) and 2 drinks Left hungry, but not enough to shell out another $50 Staff was polite, but SLOW Double the sizes or cut the prices in 1/2 and you've got something going on, but until then... We won't be back. Good luck!

The service staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and the drinks made by the bartender were excellent. The food did not disappoint either. We started with the garlic parmesan wings, which were incredibly flavorful and a great way to begin the meal. Next, we had the Caesar salad and the BBQ chicken pizza. The Caesar salad portion was huge, easily enough for two people and probably even enough to share among four. The BBQ chicken pizza was absolutely delicious and a standout dish for us. I want to give a special shout-out to Carlos and the food runner working tonight. He was very friendly and made a point to check on us as he passed by to make sure everything was good. In my opinion, that kind of attentiveness is what separates average service from seasoned food and beverage professionals. For dessert, we ordered the churros, which had an amazing filling that instantly hooked us.
