After speaking to Shawn and telling him what was happening he said he was able to stop by today which I was extremely pleased and happy with that fact. Since Covid is so bad especially in this area he gave me instructions about explaining he would be wearing a mask, gloves and honoring social distancing. I appreciated that greatly. After checking on the outside well he came in and checked the basement set up. Shawn found the problem, was able to fix it and we were very relieved that he was able to find and repair the problem. The 2 guy's who showed up were very nice, and confirmed my diagnosis. They replaced the pump and got us going in 2 hours. A textbook replacement. The work was done well. The only concern is they were very expensive. $1500. for labor, plus the new components were marked up more than 100% each. We were in a situation with no water. I should have done my homework. After the fact, I got estimates from other companies I had called, and could have saved $800.

So drove back next day and was told he needed cash. Thought it was strange but already was invested. Gave him cash. So 1 week later still no water, he wants more money which I gave to him coz now I'm really invested. He's got to go back to parts store again so we dug hole and figured it out ourselves.
