Crispy Chicken Schnitzel w/ Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes
    Josh H.

Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant is located in The Market Common at Myrtle Beach. They are open Sun - Thu 11AM - 10PM and Fri - Sat 11AM - 11PM. This spot's known for its craft German-style beers and solid pub grub. I'm not much of a beer person, so I came here for the food. I kicked things off with the buffalo wings. They were cooked just right, perfectly sauced, and full of flavor. Really solid quality. I noticed chicken schnitzel on the menu and decided to order it for my entree since it was the house specialty and something I hadn't tried before. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed. While the chicken itself was tender, the breading was soggy rather than crispy and fell off as soon as I cut into it. The roasted garlic mashed potatoes served on the side were also a bit dry. My mom and sister split the beyond burger with coleslaw. They both enjoyed it. The burger was juicy and the coleslaw was fresh and creamy. Our server was okay. She was attentive, but not particularly warm or friendly. Gordon Biersch has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup and delivery are both available. We stopped here on a whim while in the Market Commons. The inside has 2 clear sections with a bar on one side and family tabletop/booth dining. The bar section appeared to be high top only. This bar section had TVs surrounding it and offered seasonal as well as typical drinks. Off in the dining section there was a hops tank where I suppose at one point they offered their house brewed options. They may still offer it but I didn't see it. On the menu is the typical fare - chicken, steak, fish. The sides are also of the same variety - potatoes, veggies, rice. As of winter 2025 their seasonal menu was held together by a theme of hot honey. I tried the grilled chicken drizzled with it and surprisingly it actually had a little kick. The portions were large even for the kids choices and the prices were reasonable. I highly suggest if you go to try the seasonal menu choices. They give you a chance to try something a little different and the walk it off by getting the surrounding stores in the Market Commons. It's a great area giving the feel of its own smallish community. Most places have been able to survive the last several years including this restaurant.

This place is in a great location. We sat on the patio with friends. Mango Rum Punch was delicious, very sweet if you like those kind of drinks. I had the Schnitzel. Very good! Large portion. Plenty enough for 2. Hubby got the Ahu Tuna. He loved it. Service was mid.

Absolutely Blown Away! We recently visited Gordon Biersch Brewery and were totally impressed--especially with the Fish & Chips. Easily ranks among the best I've had in the U.S., and surprisingly close to the quality I've enjoyed in England. The portion was generous, the batter light and crispy, and the fish perfectly cooked. I opted for the garlic fries--an excellent choice. My wife ordered the Voodoo Burger, which was massive, juicy, and cooked to perfection. She loved it. We sat outside, enjoyed some great people-watching, and paired our meal with one of their outstanding IPA craft beers. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu is packed with intriguing options, and I'm already planning my next visit to try more. Highly recommended for a relaxed and delicious brunch!

First of all, let's talk about our server, Raymond. Everybody loves Raymond! Well, we did, anyway, and we feel he's such a fine server that EVERYbody should love him. Gordon Biersch is in a great location, surrounded by stores and public spaces. The building is in new condition, and the furnishings are upscale, yet comfortable. We both enjoyed the dishes we ordered, and we were assured by Raymond that I had no worries with the food I ate. Raymond checked every food item for my sensitivities. Thanks to all for a lovely meal!

We had amazing service, we were seated quickly, and the food was delicious. Our server was amazing. I wish I remembered his name to give him his kudos. He made sure to take care of us and was on top of things. My mom's salad was the last to come out. He kept in constant communication with her and informed his lead of the situation. It was handled with grace. We ate our wings and ended up ordering more. They were delicious. The location is in a shopping plaza. We were able to walk around and visit other stores after our meal. If we make it back to Myrtle Beach, I would love to visit again.

Really delicious dish and cool restaurant in the heart of Myrtle Beach. I think they went a little heavy on the capers but delicious none the less.

The fish batter was very flavorful and the fish was huge and seasoned well. The chips (aka fries) were also well seasoned. My husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich as well. The restaurant had several tables inside. They keep everything clean and organized but the menus were slightly sticky. Could be the fact that they serve beer. My wife and I did the VIP…read moretour and it was amazing - very well led by SAM who spoke well on how they make their spirits as he showed us around, helping us pick spirits for our sampling and leading us through the equipment then to the "secret" Speakeasy. We loved our time at Twelve 33, enjoying our visit with SAM and KEVIN, the food, the spirits and the general feeling of joy persistent throughout the facility. Highly recommend you work in time to visit! TOUR $29 per person gets you a very personalized tour with an employee - in our case, that employee was SAM TICE who we learned is the Assistant Distiller and Operations Manager so he definitely knows his stuff! On the tour, you start by picking your spirits that will be on your tasting flight. Yeah, it seems weird to pick them up front but then while you're on the tour in the back, their staff is pouring all your spirits so they are ready for you when you're done - very efficient! And don't worry, your guide will assist you in selecting spirits and there's a very descriptive menu to help you out as well. SPIRITS The spirits I tried were excellent and my wife enjoyed hers as well, starting with their Intemperance Vodka that both of us got and fell in love with. And that's saying something! We are both Belvedere fans as our number one vodka of choice, and it's a Rye vodka so normally we're not in on the corn/wheat types but this vodka was smooth, delightful and fun enough that we purchased 2 bottles on our way out. Beyond that, our tastes went different directions as I loaded up on whiskeys and my wife went the tequila and cream liquor route. My favorite was the Triple Oaked whisky which I also procured a bottle of as we exited SPEAKEASY Such a fun surprise - at the end of the tour, you open their speakeasy by uttering the password, and step back into time with early 1900's decor and music, plus your tasting flight waiting with water and pretzels for you to enjoy. They give you time to taste and also select a cocktail (included in the tour) from their menu which they bring to you to imbibe in this fun room! FOOD We only tried one item from their Small Bites menu - a flatbread - but it was awesome. Very interesting flatbread as it was smaller than I think we expected but the ingredients were perfectly balanced and appropriately sized - we had the BBQ Chicken pizza with BBQ sauce, roasted chicken, purple onion and 3 cheese blend. It was cute and the perfect amount of food for a snack before we moved on to dinner closer to our hotel. STAFF Besides SAM who gave us the tour, we met KEVIN OSBORN, the founder/owner/head distiller who swung by to say hello and chat for a moment. He was very nice and it was great of him to drop by. We had servers and other staff that were equally friendly and welcoming - a warm, enthusiastic group of people that all seem to truly love working at Twelve 33 Distillery, and it made our visit even better
