I can't look at them or think of them without having a melt down. Dr. Cocoran and his nurse not only talked me into receiving Novocain in the roof of my mouth, they made the whole process easier than any experience I've ever had in that situation. It was painless, in every sense of the word, which seems crazy considering it was a needle in the roof of my mouth. He absolutely knows what he's doing and I have every confidence in going here for my dental work.

So I asked well why then have you not reached out to me to schedule these other treatments? At which point the office manager said "she wasn't gonna argue with patients" I said I'm not arguing I'm asking questions. End result I told them to refund me the money I have been charged besides the 2 cleanings I received! Complete waste of my time. And terrible service

He was very patient with me, but at the same time very efficient, and thorough. He explained the treatment options very well, and was very considerate. I trust him completely with medical decisions. Today, 3/26/2026 my brother in law and sister came for an appointment…read more When they called to make the appointment it was stated that he had several broken teeth and it was an emergency type situation. Upon arrival and check in - the receptionist was EXTREMELY rude. The receptionist LOUDLY and ignorantly says - "were you in a fight?" When they said no. She then states "well me and my coworker were talking about it and couldn't figure out how you had so many broken teeth and I was gonna send you to Metro" Continuing with check in. She asks about insurance and then asked me where my sister worked. And during check in, the receptionist picked up the phone. Rudely ignoring my sister and BIL and has a conversation with whoever was on the phone. They were so disgusted by her lack of professionalism and how embarrassed she made them feel for trying to get help. They left immediately. 1) it is not everyone in the entire offices business what they have going on. People in the waiting room were even distracted looking and listening to the conversation. 2) it's none of that receptionist OR HER COWORKERS business why the teeth are in the condition they are in. Several people have teeth issues and lack of insurance or money cause it to not be fixed. People also have fear of dentists and put off work that is needed. 3) why is the receptionist. Who schedules appointments. Talking about my families private health information ? Publicly and LOUDLY... I guess it's okay for your employees to talk badly about the patients that schedule appointments. That woman acted like a little high school girl gossiping. People like that receptionist are why so many avoid taking care of their teeth. The shame and embarrassment that woman instilled was ignorant That receptionist is IGNORANT and should not be working with the public. It took my family awhile to get my BIL to go to the dentist. Because he had anxiety about being treated EXACTLY how your business decided to treat him today. This woman working for you is despicable and pathetic. Putting patients down... I am sure this is not the first person she has done something like this to. I myself have struggled with dental issues majority of my life. I went into another business with my teeth problems. Several broken and cracked teeth and a lot of other problems. And from the check in to the final work. Not a single person made me feel embarrassed about the condition. They were just happy that I was able to bring myself in to get things started and fixed. As the company should. There needs to be something done about that receptionist. She should not be working in a dental office acting that way. It's embarrassing for your practice. Find another surgeon. Don't let this happen to you. Especially to a child…read more The receptionist was incredibly rude and extremely unwelcoming. She is the face of their officrle. The first impression a patoent has. I should have turned around and left based solely on her. She did not acknowledge me until I said hello. Was busy chit chatting with another staff member. Even then she did not bother to look up from the computer and make eye contact or welcome me. She asked for information that had already been provided and it wasn't until I said they already had it did she bother to look in the file. Additionally, she was also rude when I asked if this is where I checked out. Said "where else would it be". Not that any staff member gave us a tour or directed us to the checkout area when the appointment was finished. I was not provided with pre appointment instructions. Did not receive any advanced paperwork or phone call. I did ask upon arriving if our appointment was today because I did mot receive a call in advance or any instructions. The response was "We do not call out. It is your responsibility to know when your appointment is". The Doctor was upset that steps had not been followed prior to appointment. As a result not all pain options were an option. Post appointment and after speaking with several other medical professionals as well as another oral surgeons office, it quickly became apparent that I was lied to. My son was put through unnecessary pain and trama as a result. All options should have been made available. My child begged me not to take him back. Cried because I did not stand up for him when he said he was in pain. Looking back I should have advocated for him. I didn't realize that he actually was in pain. I thought he was just scared. First oral surgery and being a child, or any age for that matter, I trusted the Doctor to do what was in my child's best interest and to reassure me that he was okay and not in pain. Do your research. Don't take a referral from another Doctor at face value. Ask questions. Find out if they have personally used them. If they would take their family to them. My referral came from an office who did not know them. Their staff was applaud at the way we were treated and apologized profusely. Please don't let this happen to you or anyone you love.
