The staff was friendly, but what I expected to be a consultation felt more like a push toward having a root canal than a discussion of all available options. After the appointment, I decided to get a second opinion before proceeding with treatment. Two different dental offices requested my 3D CT scan from this office so they could properly evaluate my situation. Both offices told me they never received it. I paid for that scan, and I was trying to make an informed decision about a significant dental procedure. Instead, I found myself unable to get other specialists the information they needed to fully evaluate my case. Whether intentional or not, the result was the same: it made getting a second opinion far more difficult than it should have been. My advice to anyone considering treatment here: if they take imaging, ask for a copy before you leave the office. Do not assume it will be sent later if you decide to seek another opinion. Patients deserve access to their own diagnostic information and the ability to explore treatment options without obstacles. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Starts out as a very nice office seems super Nice and accommodating. However, once we get to…read morebilling things, take a completely different turn. Every single visit I paid hundreds of dollars upfront no problem because it is an estimate of what the patient responsibility is. As soon as I started getting in the EOB's from my insurance company, I could see that I was overpaying by a lot at every visit. Once this was brought up to them they told me that they had a contract dispute with CIGNA.. I tried to have several conversations with them, letting them know that their contract dispute with CIGNA should not be passed along to their patients, and I was thrown out of the office, literally in the middle of my pediatric son having treatment. I have spoken to CIGNA about this supposed disputed contract and CIGNA tells me that they are paying exactly the rates they are required to. So be very careful when you're paying upfront hundreds of dollars and make sure to check with your insurance company and make sure you're closely monitoring those EOB's when they come in. Super nice dentist turned into a complete jerk when she threw me out of the office and my pediatric son. Again, keep in mind that I have no problem paying for my fair share and every time I went into the office I paid the hundreds of dollars upfront with absolutely no questions asked! As she was berating me in the office she also stated that we were customers so that tells you everything you need to know customers equal $$ patients are only patients when they agree to blindly pay whatever they say you should. Balance billing for a dispute you have with your contacted insurance is not a patient problem.

When he did the extraction his fist slipped and smashed up against my top front teeth, fracturing 9 teeth. He surgically, in his office, went in and tried to remove the pieces of broken teeth. At some point he told me that he could not do anymore for me, he dismissed me. Having gone to three other dentists trying to help me I pretty much gave up and went for false teeth. A full upper plate. I have struggled with this all these years and the costs to the new dentists was out rages Right now I have a full top set that looks good built it hurts like crazy in the top center of my mouth. I am presently waiting for my new dentist to return from his vacation to start all over again. All I asked Dr Erik was for him to return to me, one of the thousands of dollars I paid him. I have tried but cannot get a lawyer to help me. Can you?

Everyone here is very understanding and accommodating, very gentile, and just want to make sure youre comfortable throughout the entire appointment. The exam rooms have TVs, they offer all the new, high-tech dental doodads, and if youre REALLY nervous, as I am, they offer nitrous or Halcion at an additional cost. Dr. Mike is genuinely a nice guy too, hes personable and easy to talk to. He'll discuss all options, but theres never a high pressure approach.
