I had my appointment and was billed 1,000 dollars. I was then told they do not take my insurance at all. They refused to listen to me when I explained my son was having pain in his teeth. They drilled a chip in his front tooth and tried filling it. That came out within a week. They did it again and the same issue. I was told not to worry about it, it's fine. His tooth is now breaking down and causing a ton of pain and they refused to help. They even canceled my children's future cleanings. Awful to work with and care solely on the bill they can send you. I called to reschedule an appointment for my son. months later I'm being told oh the anesthesiologist no longer wants to work with your family so now they're telling me I have to drive an hour to Concord to get work done. Mind you I had already been back to that office so why now am I all of a sudden not allowed back in the office? I called. I'm met with rude receptionist, rude people just telling me essentially just go figure it out and go find a new office it's crazy because I really in the beginning. Unfortunately... I received a large bill. Come to find out that only Delta is "preferred" and they did not accept my insurance's fee schedule. Even though they informed me that the X-rays, initial appointment, and cleaning were free, the services turned out to cost around $300. I tried to tell the billig department that I was told it was going to be free but the company line is that everything is an estimate and that my insurance coverage is between the patient and their insurer. Dr. Calvin raised his voice at me for not agreeing to his intervention! Such an action reveals their complete and utter lack of compassion and respect for their patients and violates the fundamental tenets of medical ethics. In addition, Dr. Calvin is not a licensed physician, and the intervention he demanded was a medical intervention! He did not discuss ANY of the possible negative side effects, did not inform me about ANY implications of pushing this on me against my will! INFORMED CONSENT IS FUNDAMENTAL TO PROTECT YOU FROM MEDICAL VIOLENCE AT THE HANDS OF THESE EDUCATED AND SKILLED PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE TRAINING AND THE KNOWLEDGE TO CAUSE IMMENSE HARM AND PAIN TO YOU IF THEY WANT. If Londonderry isn't close to you he does have offices in multiple locations in Allenstown, Nashua, Raymond, Lynnfield, MA, Leominster, MA and possibly other locations that I haven't found online yet.
