Just like any other Gordon's. Service was meh, but the selection was nice and the store was clean.

I paid ahead etc. Got a notification that it's delayed ... no prob. Went to the counter to ask an approximate updated time cuz - life. They said, "oh uh none of us know how to do it and the only person who does didn't show up today sorry." Cool. That seems made up. Customer service I go! I explain to the young woman at customer service the situation. I asked if there's anyone else scheduled for today so I can maybe come back and get my order. She's apologetic, understanding, & very sweet about it & asks me to wait for her manager of the store to do it so that I wouldn't have to come back. The "manager" of this place was awful. Lazy might be a better word. She treated the customer service woman like crap (snide comments/attitude toward her) and then proceeded to shoo me off. I asked if anyone else is coming in - she didn't know even though i was told she made the schedule. I asked for a refund - she's like "ya, we can't do that." HA bull. Yes you can. It's Walmart. I asked if she could just push the print button for the photos and she said no. Again. Bull. You're a manager. SO my point is - just avoid this place like the plague if you want a few photos printed - or a refund - or help with something. Hoping she finds a different career path soon.

This was the worst Walmart I have ever been to, extremely disorganized, empty shelves everywhere,…read morelack of essential popular products I am familiar with in other stores, and an awkward layout that left us going in circles just looking for basics like chips and breads. Also the price gouging is insanity, over six dollars for a large basic chips is proof this country will soon have that economic reality check! A small redeeming quality is the exceptional Walmart apps that integrates payments and tracking purchases very well.

I can dig it, though, because sometimes I am that person. But also, sometimes I am not that person, and I'm especially not that person when I just want to find a fully stocked aisle of children's medicine (Tylenol in bubble gum flavor, in fact) at a good price. Thankfully, Bridge Street Market is a little bougie, but not so bougie that it loses its Midwest Meijer roots. Anyway, I picked up my children's Tylenol, but I also stopped by the wine section before I checked out. Bridge Street Market has a large and fun wine area. I say fun because they take the time to label some of the wines on display with tasting notes and other descriptors. I was in the Italian section, so I picked up a bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, just based on how it was displayed on the shelf. The merchandising people at Bridge Street are doing a good job -- they made me pick up wine on a whim! (Which, to be honest, isn't that difficult, but still.) All of the checkout lanes are self-check-out, but there are people standing by to help.
