We arrived around 915, waited in line for 30 mins because there was only one person working coffee and food. I felt so bad- the line was so long and that's way too much for one person. The cinnamon rolls weren't out u til 940 and when they went out it was only Regular cinnamon rolls (when we were there). We were the first people to get one. We got 4 cronuts- raspberry, glazed, vanilla, and strawberry- ranked best to worst. They were all fresh and chewy! The cinnamon roll was eeh- bland and just tasted like milk. No real cinnamon or vanilla flavor. I think for a newer restaurant, they need more help. Two large groups of people left bc the line was too long. You need to have all of your baked goods out when you open at 9. 9 isn't thay early for a place selling baked goods. Definitely a few kinks but I hope they fix them.

Interesting spot in an interesting location and worth a stop if you're nearby. This is a cafe that has tasty looking donuts, coffee and other treats as well as a "Mexican fusion" cantina. I did not have the coffee or sweets but did enjoy the cantina. Had the Cuban sandwich and barbacoa taco. The Cuban was solid, but I wouldn't say that it's up to the level of those in Tampa(which I have had many). But it definitely scratched the itch. The taco was excellent with an in-house made thin tortilla, fall apart barbacoa and perfect accompaniments. I'd definitely order that again. I also enjoyed a couple of the in house made seltzers and a house margarita. All worth trying/sharing if you're not driving. The service was friendly and fast and this is worth a stop if you're in the area and looking for something different and new.

This spot is amazing! It has everything- bakery with sweet treats, savory breakfast items, coffee for now and coffee (bottled) for later. A lunch menu plus a full bar! Everyone is so sweet when you walk in and wiling to help with whatever questions you may have! The space is very inviting- with sit down and grab and go options plus outdoor seating. Cinnamon rolls are 12/10 and a must! Tried a chopped chicken Caesar wrap and it was sooo good! Most everything on their menu is made in house- even the tortilla wrap is made in house! You gotta get here and check it all out for yourself!

Got the Blueberry Muffin Cinnamon Roll and it was HUGE! We took it home and heated it up in the microwave and it was so sweet, delicious, gooey and buttery. Cinnamon and blueberry compote with soft, doughy bread is a fantastic combo. We can't wait to try the biscoff flavor next.

I love this spot!! The food is good, the pastries are sooo yummy and the drinks (coffee and margaritas) are to die for! I'm so happy we finally got a solid spot in RIDC, the inside is a vibe and all the workers are so sweet and helpful when I'm there. Definitely recommend!!

I was here for a quick lunch stop before a meeting. They have all kinds of breakfast pastries for those who want to come in for the morning snacks. You order your food at the counter and then they give you a number and bring it to you. I ordered the Italian sandwich which was delicious. It was nice and clean and spacious inside the restaurant I would suggest given this place to drive here in the Pittsburgh area.

Heard about a new cafe in RIDC park so I checked it out. They offered prepared foods but I stuck with the baked goods. First, the buckeye brownie was delicious. I also tried a yinzer Cookie which contains chocolate, oatmeal, potato chips and pretzels. It was actually good. I also tried a brisket bomb and other cookies. Super patient worker at the cafe explaining the different types of baked goods. Worth a try if you are in the area.

Gordos in Fox Chapel is open for brunch! We tried the breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich as well as some mini cronuts and everything's so good!! We sat at the bar and enjoyed the sunshine coming through the garage door windows. The portions are perfect for a meal for one or to get a couple of items to share. We can't wait to go back and try the chicken and waffles and banana bread French toast!

Small cheese and pepperoni pizza with Italian torta

Been a on-and-off customer at the sister location in Mt Washington and have been waiting for something to open up in the old Max and Erma's for a bit. Stopped in twice today to grab cronuts for the team and back in for lunch. The cronuts are delicious and more buttery than you might expect. My favorite was the brown butter glaze. Apple fritter was good but maybe not my favorite. Lunch was again solid. I had a thin crust cheese and pepperoni pizza. Came out quick due to the thin and crispy crust. Cheese and sauce was flavorful but the curled pepperoni stole the show. Would have liked some red pepper flakes but I didn't really go looking for them. My co worker got the Italian tortas and thought it was good warmed up and a pretty good value all things considered. I'll be excited to stop back and get a beer once the taco portion is open.

Brisket sandwich, Texas chili, iced tea

Venue is beautiful- full bar. Plenty of options for breakfast or lunch. Options from snacks and pastries to sandwiches and salads. The salad was HUGE! Very tasty. Service was wonderful as well.

This coffee shop is located right on Freeport Road in Blawnox. The inside is cozy, with photos on the walls, a couple of pastry cases, and a wall full of plants and plant-themed artwork. The bright wood tables, arranged in a herringbone pattern, paired nicely with the baby blue chairs and gave the shop a welcoming feel. After seeing that they exclusively served Rosa beans and seemed very proud of that, both my wife and I decided to order Americanos. My wife chose hers iced while I went with mine hot. My daughter ordered a cinnamon swirl, and I added a chicken empanada. About five minutes later our entire order was ready, and we headed back to the car. I started with the empanada. It had a nice flaky crust, and the chicken filling had good flavor, although it was a little on the dry side. My daughter didn't share her cinnamon swirl, but she assured me that it was good. After finishing my empanada, I moved on to my coffee and thought it was excellent. It opened with a touch of bitterness before settling into a smooth, rich coffee flavor that I really enjoyed. I was hoping to pick up some distinctive varietal notes on the finish but wasn't able to find any. Even so, it was still a very enjoyable cup of coffee. My wife also enjoyed her iced Americano. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed our coffees, and the food made for a nice accompaniment as well.

As always, this is a staple for my first stop while home visiting. The parking was rough and I sure hope something gets figured out but if I have to drive around for 20 min until someone moves, I'll do it! Especially for what's inside. I picked up 2 cold brews for my bff, banana pudding for my pops and for me a cookie butter pudding (I think) for myself. To top it off I picked up a banana smores iced latte. No wonder this place is a diamond in the rough. I have never and I mean never had anything bad here. And it def put a smile on my face that the owner knew who I was and knows my love for her business. Please do yourself a favor and go here. Take a day drive and try it out. Underestimated how expensive two sandwiches and two drinks would be ($50 including tip). I can see why this little place people will drive for. The sandwiches were really good. The vampire slayer was actually my fav with that jam just fire. The drinks were mediocre. Nothing to brag about. I loved seeing their premade foods. Everything looked absolutely delicious. The employees were hopping because we must have came at a busy time. All in all, I could have split a sandwich with my wife and still be full. I could have gotten a drink cheaper at Starbucks, although they have a plethora of drink choices which was neat to see. If you're going to make a visit, be patient with the parking. Don't be a jerk and block someone in!

On this morning we decided to go to The Coffee Tree Roasters in Fox Chapel. Whenever we arrived this shop was hopping and it continued to be so even after we had left. The inside of this shop consisted of a number of tables to sit at as well as a cooler with drinks and then a place to order. There was also a small merchandise area near the front and since it was Christmas time, the front counter was decorated with gift baskets for the holidays. For my coffee on this morning I went with a gingerbread latte while my wife went with a white chocolate peppermint bark latte. My coffee here ended up being good as there was a strong gingerbread flavor without being overly sweet as well as a nice coffee flavor in the background. It probably could have been a bit more pronounced but I could certainly taste it and the drink itself was tasty. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I used to love going to the coffee tree roasters and this visit did not disappoint.

My husband and I ate one breakfast here on a Saturday morning. An employee immediately and courteously greeted us and seated us at a clean and spacious table. Soon she took our order and brought out our drinks and foods. At the end of the meal, she promptly processed our payment and thanked us. Here are my ratings for what my husband and I ate: Turkish Plate - 4.5 stars - I think that Gino might be Turkish, and this entree was one of the few Turkish menu items. It consisted of scrambled eggs, black olives, two cheeses, sliced tomato and cucumber, French fries, toasted bread, jelly, honey, and butter. Fruit Tea Waffle - 5 stars - A waffle was topped with Nutella, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and powdered sugar. The fruits were very fresh, abundant, and sweet. On the side was whipped cream. Egg-bacon Omelet - 4 stars - My husband ate this omelet, and he thought that it tasted good. It was a good size, and it contained bacon, onions, and mozzarella cheese. On the side were three plain pancakes. Orange juice - 4.5 stars - This orange juice contained some purple and tasted fresh.
