Food was better than most stand alone sit down restaurants in the city. The chipotle chicken ranch was phenomenal.

One of my favorite weekend traditions is exploring a new coffee shop every Sunday somewhere around the city, and this week I decided to give Rev Coffee a try. While I didn't order any food, several menu items looked tempting and worth trying on a future visit. I ordered the Iced Banana Pudding Latte, and it was delicious. What stood out even more was the customer service. The staff had genuinely positive energy, and the cashier was especially helpful in sharing his thoughts on the different drinks I was considering before making my choice. As someone who enjoys writing and working from coffee shops, my only suggestion would be a larger bar-style workspace for laptops and those of us who like to stand, pace, and type while working. It wasn't a deal breaker by any means. They also don't offer a military discount, but that's fairly common and never something I expect when visiting a coffee shop. Overall, I had a great experience. The atmosphere was inviting, the coffee was enjoyable, and the staff made a strong impression. I would definitely recommend Rev Coffee, and it has earned a spot in my regular rotation of coffee shop adventures.

I visited on a weekday afternoon and even before 10am, there were other guests buzzing around this little coffee shop. Bolivar is located within a grocery shopping plaza, meaning they have tons of parking which is always great in ATL. The coffee shop itself is so beautiful! The decor, plants and art all channel Colombia, all by way of Atlanta. There were a few tables inside and outside, allowing space for those there to work, chat and lounge if desired. It was really easy for me to find a comfy seat next to an outlet to settle at for a few hours. I started with a hot latte and a Pastel conquistador and was so pleased by both. I didn't even realize that I had sped through my first cup of coffee before I was onto the next. The ladies behind the counter were helpful in sharing their favorites as I decided on my next orders across my 5 hour visit. Each order was better than the last. If you've been putting off a visit, don't wait any longer!

My only complaint is the online ordering process, which I find to be pointless as my order is never complete upon my arrival, ~20 to 30 minutes from the time that I ordered. I assume they are making the coffee upon arrival so that it's fresh and not watered down, but it defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. Otherwise great coffee shop, and great addition to the Smyrna

You can do this online in advance at: https://submatic.io/store/10947/subscribe. When you arrive at the entrance gate, buzz the office, and they'll direct you to the Leasing Lodge to complete your application, where you'll receive a decal for your car which lets you in the residents' gate next time. The membership is $15/month, and if you keep it renewing, you get a $15/month credit to use in the coffee shop. Parking requires payment every time, via QR codes posted in the lot. Once you're inside, the coffee shop interior is clean and welcoming, with a decent amount of indoor seating and free WiFi. There are several outdoor tables, and lots of chairs out in the grounds as you head towards the river. The staff is awesome - super friendly and welcoming, and happy to explain your new membership and a points-based loyalty program they offer in addition. The baristas are superb, and there's a wide range of morning pastries as well as a fab Venezuelan lunch menu. While the first visit will feel expensive as you're adding in the new membership, from month 2 onwards it's great value. The entry controls keep the occupancy manageable, so you can enjoy the peace and beauty of the Chattahoochee with your coffee fix.

Located in Mableton/Smyrna, this coffee shop is actually connected to a leasing office perched along the Chattahoochee river. This quiet suburban neighborhood is the perfect location for this quiet coffee shop and you have the option of sitting inside in the beautifully decorated cafe or outside facing the street or the river. I always drive by this place and while out and about with my son one afternoon, I decided to pop in and sit for a bit. There were a few folks in front of us which gave me some time to look around at the cafe and the menus. I knew I should expect coffee, but I wasn't expecting Venezuelan treats! There were empanadas, tequenos and more on that special menu and although I didn't indulge that day (after a big lunch), I'll definitely be back to try them out. I did however go with one of their seasonal drinks - the french toast latte, specifically, (which was recommended by the lovely woman behind the register who I'm pretty sure is the owner!) There were more people lining up than I expected and only boss lady in the shop, but she was hustling! She was super patient, kind and handled each guest with care. My latte was absolutely delicious and the service along with the good energy made our visit even better. Can't wait to return!

They also sell pastries like donuts, avocado toast, and croissants if you're hungry. I wish they had other alternative milks, but right now they serve dairy and oat milk only. They also have two different matchas (sweetened vs unsweetened). I think the drink itself is pretty good, kind of standard, but don't take this review to heart since I am not an oat/dairy milk drinker. The actual place is really cute and nice for hanging out with friends. There are plenty of outlets, water, wifi, and restrooms so if you need to do work you can! There are small tables and one larger table. Mellow jazz music plays in the background and there is one overhead fan so the temperature is just right. It is very much a minimalist type of atmostphere kind of gives me safari vibes because of the beige and tan accents with some greenery. Even though there were plenty of places at the mall to grab coffee and food right across from my hotel, I kept finding myself coming back here day after day during my stay. The staff I interacted with was super cool, welcoming, and had such a great vibe. Every interaction felt genuine and friendly. One thing that really stood out was when I asked for a drink that wasn't on their menu but that I had seen on their Yelp page. They had no problem making it for me and even had me try it before I left just in case I didn't like it. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Whenever I'm back in Atlanta, Cafe Comma will definitely be one of my first stops. Thanks for the excellent hospitality
