Great friendly service. Excellent breakfast. Loved the coffee too. Nice and quiet place with no loud music. Will be back for sure.

She greeted me as I walked in and asked me if I needed any assistance. I told her that I had reserved a room for my guests that were coming at 2:00pm. When the room became available she assisted me in getting the room cleaned and ready for my guests. She was a great help! She was kind and patience with all of our needs. Also, Ms. Sheena was absolutely great as well. The reservation process was easy and she was pleasant through the entire process! The food was delicious! The bathrooms were cleaned! It was my first visit however, it definitely will not be my last time. I highly recommend this restaurant. 10 Stars!!! Jamie Baker

I was hoping it was for Wed since they were closed for the day but it was not.. So I waited until this Tuesday (yesterday) hoping I would see Lasagna on the menu again but I did not... Sometime told me to look today and low and behold it was there.. I rushed to the restaurant as I was so excited to try it. I also order a smother pork chop plate bec it was so good the first time we went there. The lasagna look very dry but i decided to give it a shot anyway.. Well I regret it because it was awful!!... I am sooo disappointed bec Magnolia room is not cheap and they love to brag about having Chefs for cooks. They need to step it up bec they are too expensive not to be good

We researched…read morethe area and saw that The Breakfast Boys located in College Park, GA was Black-owned and had very good reviews. What a gem! We made reservations for the 6 of us, and upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff. There was a line of people waiting to be seated, so we were concerned about having to wait since we were heading to the airport. We had a brief waiting period before being seated. Jasmine D, our server was prompt and very personable. The menu was full of delectable choices for brunch or lunch. We ordered the Very Berry French Toast, Chix & Pancakes & bacon, Jerk Chicken & Sweet Potato Waffles, and a Kids Cheese Scramble & bacon and grits. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our server was attentive and patient with us the entire time we were there. If you're looking for great food, a great welcoming down home ambiance and are in the area, The Breakfast Boys is a great place to go, but make reservations! We can not wait to visit the Atlanta area again and to visit The Breakfast Boys.

Several neon signs greet you at the entrance of this charming old school Southern restaurant. They don't accept reservations so we gave our name and then chose to wait in the seating area by the hostess stand although we could have waited at the bar area. We were called to our table in about 30 minutes. We were seated at a semicircular booth and our server greeted us right away and gave us menu and got our drink orders. The hardest part is figuring out which entree to get for dinner, as there were many to tempt us such as prime rib and roast turkey, but my friend ended up ordering the Chicken Fried Chicken with Tomato Aspic and Baked Potato and I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken with Sautéed Spinach and Whipped Potatoes (each entree comes with a choice of 2 sides and they have many to choose from). It felt like only a few minutes went by and our server was already bringing us each a bread plate with a cornbread muffin and a biscuit, plus my friend's Tomato Aspic. I had already told my friend I wanted to try the aspic but I wanted her to try it first. She said it was great and tasted like cocktail sauce with pieces of celery inside. I took a bit of Mayo on my fork, like she did, and then slide into the aspic to grab a bite. It wasn't bad! In fact, I took a few bites more. It tasted like a cocktail sauce/ketchup combo, in gelatin mold form. Our main dishes also came out really quickly and they were huge! My $24 fried chicken was an entire half chicken with a wing, a drumstick, and a giant thigh and breast. It was really crispy and tasted delicious. The spinach was nice, too, with pieces of garlic and the potatoes were yummy as well. I only finished the breast piece and took the rest home. My friend also took home half her meal and we saw that pretty much everyone was bringing home leftovers. This was a great meal and a great value as well.

RC had approached her with a flier at a gas station, informing her that his restaurant had just opened up. Anyway, I'm ordering my meal, the same meal I always get each time I go. Fried fish (whiting), collards and the baked beans (unmatched). And he goes, "What would you like to drink?".... I'm like, "What do you have?" (Assuming the usual. Sweet tea. Lemonade... I was probably gonna go with sweet tea. ) He lists sweet tea of course, and then hes like, "Kool-Aid, coke, sprite" - IM LIKE WAIT. DID YOU SAID KOOL-AID?......... He's like, "Yeah??..." Im like, "what flavor???.... "Purple?...." I had never heard of that at a restaurant, and quiet frankly, that's all I needed to know. At this point, I literally go nowhere else for soul food. Also, RC is amazing. Really good guy, and his team offer the best service as well. A job well done, always.

My recommendation would be the baked chicken, cabbage, yams, and sweet potato pie. The ice tea is a must have. Kool aid and coke products are also available. The parking lot is large. So parking won't be a problem. But the inside is small so you will probably want to take the food to go. The menu changes from the week to the weekend with Sunday being soul food day. I will be back to try jerk turkey and meatloaf. Maybe next Sunday.

Shoutout to Nicky at the host stand for setting the tone right away with a warm welcome and smooth seating. You can tell they take pride in the experience from the very start. And listen... You can tell he knows exactly what he's doing and actually cares about making sure you enjoy your meal. Now let's talk about the food... The blackened salmon was cooked perfectly--seasoned just right with a great sear, sitting over those potatoes that soaked up all that flavor. And the Georgia Peach (chicken & waffles)? Next level. The waffle was light but still had that crisp, the chicken was seasoned and fried perfectly, and that peach topping with the powdered sugar... yeah, it didn't stand a chance. Everything hit. Service, food, vibe--no misses. Definitely one of the best breakfast/brunch spots in Atlanta. We'll be back, no question.
