I was really excited to try this place for the first time and made a reservation for 11:15, but the experience was disappointing from the start. As soon as we arrived, we were told we had to be finished by 12:15, which immediately made the visit feel rushed. Unfortunately, the service didn't match that expectation. It took quite a while for our server to take our order, and about 40+ minutes for the food to arrive. To be fair, our server seemed to be the only one actually working--she was taking orders, cleaning tables, making coffee, and even unpacking deliveries right in the dining area. The staff were really friendly. Everything tasted fresh. The biscuit was sooo warm, buttery, and soft. The pancake bomb. Crisp on the outside but was still fluffy in the middle. We had a brunch reservation for a party of 4 at 10:30 am on Sunday, 10/17/26. We were seated right away! Tip: Definitely make a reservation. The wait was 2 hours without a reservation. Vanessa was our waitress and she was so, so sweet and absolutely wonderful. They were so busy, but the staff was so great throughout it all. An ode to the Breakfast Tasting ($19), which each of us got. It came with your choice of pancake, waffle, or french toast, so we got to try them all. We got 2 of the pancakes and that was the move because the pancakes were the best out of the 3. Note that the pancakes aren't your typical fluffy and sweet pancakes. They were crispy and definitely not as sweet, but add the syrup and homemade jam and they were *~*chef's kiss*~*. The Breakfast Tasting was literally everything I've ever wanted in a brunch at a restaurant. I always want to sample a bit of everything, but I usually have to be strategic about ordering with a group of people, where everyone gets something different and then we get to taste each other's. We didn't have to do that at Season! Literally everything on the tasting plate was incredible--eggs (we all added cheese), bacon, sausage (a patty, not a link, which I liked!), biscuit, grits (we all added cheese), colcannon fritter, avocado, fruit, yogurt with granola. I've been hearing a lot of rave about this place, so I figured it was finally time for me to go in. I arrived at about 7:40 AM. There was only one other customer at the restaurant. I approached the counter and after a couple minutes, they got me seated. As I'm looking at the menu, she comes over. It tells me I have to move to another table on the other side of the restaurant. So we gathered the items and moved to another table. I'll look over the menu and settled on the steak and egg biscuit. Everybody goes crazy about the biscuits so I felt mandatory to get one and I did not want to do the build drone because I wanted to taste something specifically on the menu so I could really taste what they were working with. Since at the time there was no other customers order and it seemed like it took a rather long time for the order to come up. But that's fine when it came up it was hot and fresh. When you cut into it, it was smoking hot, so it was certainly cooked to order. I take a couple bites of the steak and egg biscuit which also has gravy on it and immediately was caught off guard by how bland it was. I don't know if they forgot to taste the gravy. I don't know if they forgot to season the flour, certainly didn't season the egg. So I sit there and realize the servers outside so I approached the counter and asked for some salt so I can at least halfway season the food and hopefully wake it up. I pick up the steak biscuit after seasoning it take about two bites and go to put it down and take a sip of my drink and my hands are completely covered in grease. I don't know how they make these biscuits but it's almost like they make like a butter swim biscuit or when it comes out the oven, they dip it in a bucket of butter or something because it's just completely soaked with oil. It really doesn't even taste super buttery, but your hands get covered in it. I had already drove an hour and 20 minutes of course I finished the food pay and then leave. But I have to be honest. I can't imagine the experience I got today is the experience that everybody else is raving about. Under seasoned food that's extremely greasy?! I don't think today was their best day. There is limited street parking around so you might have to search a little. It didn't take us long to find a free parking spot across the street. We were told we had to wait for 1.25 hours but we were put on the waitlist and actually got seated in about 15-20 minutes. So darn good that I didn't take a picture! Whew! I stopped by here on a Friday afternoon (around 12pm) and could see they had quite a few tables. That's a good sign. The caveat being that they're doing construction on the back door and I might hear drilling/pounding etc. I chose to roll the dice and sat inside. The waitress was incredibly kind and explained the menu to me and answered all of my questions. I ended up ordering a la carte, one pancake, scrambled eggs, and a piece of grilled chicken. I didn't have coffee because I wanted a latte, and they don't have lattes. That's why on the menu, latte is in quotes. It's French press coffee, which I enjoy, but wanted a latte. The food came out in about 10 minutes and so I was able to enjoy my book in the meantime. The pancake was huge and filled the plate. One was definitely enough. The scrambled eggs and chicken were delightful and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed this meal so much. The ambiance was kind of southern, homestyle/rustic decor with some picnic tables outside. A very small space with limited parking. We came in a group of five and were able to get a table outside, though it was wet and we had to request it to be wiped off. I was all the more impressed to hear that majority of the ingredients are sourced locally which is hard to find these days. We were driving looking for a place to eat outside Marietta and stumbled upon this amazing tiny cozy Brunch spot! No big sign in front of the store just a hole on the wall. Once you step inside you will have full view of the kitchen and the chefs busy cooking and at that moment you would know this is not your typical Brunch spot. The fact that they asked if we had a reservation was a clue. The place was super busy for a weekday. The food was delicious and presentation was even better. The biscuits with sausage gravy by far the best I ever had. Flacky and spongy biscuits were amazing. Chicken and waffles with the spicy sauce really good. Waffles and scrambled eggs with side order of fresh fruits plus granola with yogurt simply delicious. Everything was so fresh. I only wish there was a Season in my area. Not sure how long the front door hinge has been damaged, but don't fling the door open. It's a small but warm and inviting. Once in you're iniside, the story gets better! If I could give this place more stars, I would! We honestly haven't had food this good in a while. We decided to try something new for a quick lunch date, and this place did not disappoint. When we first got there, parking was limited, but we found a spot up front, and there were even a good bit of people already inside. We had made reservations for 11:15 and was seated immediately. The place is on the small side. You know, one of those cute holes in the wall, where you can't believe you didn't know about it sooner? It was super clean inside, and very inviting. Vanessa, our server, was amazing -- super attentive, so sweet, thorough, and full of great recommendations. Everyone else who came by our table to check on us or drop off food was just as helpful, which made the whole experience even better. We'd never had French press lattes before, so of course we had to try them. They were really good. I ordered the mocha and my husband got the regular with sugar on the side. The mocha was definitely on the sweeter side, so if you're not big on sweet drinks, keep that in mind -- but I'm sure they could adjust it if you ask. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of eggs. Now listen... we love spice, and Vanessa did warn us -- and lesson learned for next time. You might want that spice on the side. But SO worth it. The flavor was incredible, and the chicken actually had seasoning on it (LOL). He also said the eggs were probably the best he's ever had -- and that's saying something. Sorry, I didn't get a picture of those. I ordered the Chorizo con Huevos Biscuit, and because I thought it would be smaller, I also got a side of cheddar grits. Y'all... first of all, this biscuit is NOT your average biscuit. It's HUGE. And second, I don't think I've ever eaten a more delicious biscuit in my life. Cute little spot we found in Marietta thanks to Yelp! The food was incredible and the cookie butter latte was delicious. We had the chicken and waffles and the shrimp N grits both were amazing and the portions were perfect. The staff is super friendly and gave us great service. It actually funny because if I go to add photos of my food from here, the amount of photos is scroll worthy because I have been here so many times. I can't believe I haven't reviewed it yet! By far, the best and most innovative brunch spot in Atlanta. I have been to many. When I tell you they do not miss, I mean it. Almost everything here might be the best you have had. Even though I have tried so many of the items, by far, my favorite is the chilaquiles (did include a picture of this). I love them so much, I can't help but order them every time I go. I don't eat pork, so I always sub out for another meat and they have always been accommodating to do so! Coffees here are also very good, and I love that they are always coming out with seasonal drinks. I still need to try the matcha though! I tell everyone about this spot, and if you haven't gone, do yourself a favor and go!! A friend of mine suggested Season for brunch! I assumed it was located in the square but I'm glad it wasn't! No traffic & no fighting to park lol. The day we visited they were having issues with their air, but we decided to stay, it was hot though lol. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by numerous staff members which was very pleasant. The place is fairly small, so I understand making reservations. I ordered an iced matcha latte and the Maduro Buttermilk Pancakes with a side of eggs. The pancakes were delicious & the sauces on the side were nice too. The Matcha, meh, I wouldn't get it again, but it wasn't terrible, just not memorable. Our waitress was new, but very, very nice & helpful! Overall, I would visit again to try some other options! The food around me for other customers looked outstanding too! I really hope they get the air situation worked out, not just for customers, but mainly the staff! Its waaay to hot to have those nice folks in sweltering heat inside and its already an oven outside!
