The bartenders have an amazing knowledge of their craft, and they are NOT uppity about sharing advice. Stopped in after I grabbed some groceries next door. I was pretty excited to see this new place because it is soooo close to home. First thing I noticed walking through the door was "wow, it's stuffy in here" like warm, no air moving kinda stuffy. No big deal but I found it unusual. Sat at the bar and ordered up from what today would be considered a pretty small tap list. Good news is they had beer faucets for many more selections in the future. Sitting at the bar I noticed my legs hurting, what? Here's the scoop. The bar stools were too short for the bar so the added 16" blocks under the seat. It causes a 30 degree down angle for you legs to land on the footrest. Your legs get cut into by the edge of the stool--very uncomfortable after 5 minutes. I like to belly up so this was a bummer for me. I did like to decor but it is 100% absent of ambiance, come on guys decorate. The is nothing, nothing, nothing on a single wall making it feel like the strip mall you're in. Staff was warm and welcoming. read more

We love this place. It is very laid back but can get quite busy. Not only is it close to home, but Mike is great. We come in for a drink often, watch the game and chat with him about basketball. True, they don't have food, but I like the option of being able to choose from a local restaurant and have it delivered or bring in takeout. Let's be honest, bar food isn't usually that good anyway. They are always willing to pour a sample or suggest a beer. They have 15 beers, 4 ciders, 1 mead, a white wine, a red wine, and 2 non alcoholic kombucha options so there is something for everyone. If you're a vinyl fan, they also have a record collection and they will play something you fancy. Like board games? They've got that too. read more

I've been here a couple of times now, and it's been an absolute snooze fest every time. The beers they have on tap are good but the selection is so lacking I find myself bored with the menu after 1 or 2 drinks. To top it off the bartender that's been here each time has the personality and interpersonal skills of an office chair. This is a great place for a beer and some good convo. It's a taproom, not a sports bar! Although there are two TVs that Josh the owner, will gladly turn onto sports if you would like. I enjoy the records playing in the background and how inviting the place is.
