I am now seven weeks out from my service, and even more frustrated about my nails. It ends up that the tech ground off enough of the thickness of my nails that I now can't get them to grow past the end of my fingertips. They are tearing, they're splitting, and they're peeling...they're catching my hair, and they catch on my sweaters. They are so thin, and any pressure on my nails causes discomfort, and my previously super strong, natural nails are now thin and actually deform when you press on them. It is incredibly uncomfortable. They are still only about a third of the way grown out, so I will be dealing with this for probably six months more at least. There is literally nothing I can do about it. I don't wear gel nails or fake nails because it weakens my nails, so I can't even put anything artificial over my nails to strengthen them. I've just been putting on Sally Hansen Strong as Nails to try and stabilize them until they grow out. I was trying to peel a sticker off something today, and it tore my nail again. I also tried to pry a plastic shaker top off of a spice bottle and it broke another one. I did end up calling and talking to somebody, and they did apologize, and I was appreciative. I've always had good service here, but this is beyond disappointing. read more

This salon already has 3 stars so expect this to be another bad review. Paid $45 for classic (basic) which is already on the pricey side. Went super early in the morning as well so there was not a busy time. My nail tech left midway through the pedicure without acknowledging she was finished. Didn't put on a finishing coat and then never saw her again after she painted on the color. The polish coat wasn't even layered on even. A refund should be given for the lack of professionalism shown at this establishment. read more

I'm am very upset with my experience here. I looked up the reviews and this salon seemed to have good reviews, but unfortunately they disappointed me. I asked for black almond French tips. She put a nude acrylic on my nails and then pained on the black with gel. It looks terrible! There is black on the nude and they are all different shapes. Some are almond and some are oval... Went in to get a pedicure. The gentleman who worked on me was very rough and failed to listen when I told him I had regular nail polish on my toe nails.. I NEVER get gel on my toes, him along with a woman were being persistent for me to get gel. I said no and he continued with the pedicure. He asked for the shape I wanted and ended up cutting my nails very short and really bad. They were in fact not short and squared. It looked like a toddler cut them. He used a drill on my toes after I told him not to and explained to him that I had regular nail polish. He drilled so much I left with my toe nails red and very sensitive. I didn't polish them and I told him to just stop. I asked how much it would be expecting not to pay the full amount and I needed up having to pay for the whole damn pedicure. I will never be going back and I don't recommend anyone going here. Their tools do not look like they clean them regularly and they dip their hands in the same jar for lotion and mask after each customer. read more

I give it 2 stars because when I went in they were friendly and talkative. I asked for a gel manicure and got it but while having my manicure done she reached over to the previous table she was working at and got the cuticle cutter from the previous person... from my understanding they are suppose to use new sanitized tools on everyone. It was weird and I am socially awkward and didn't stand up for myself. This is not right. She went into my cuticles for a long time at one point she went to far and it hurt I pulled back after she said sorry she stopped with the cutting. My gel manicure lasted for 4 days before I had 2 chipped nails. I didn't do hard labor so that shouldn't have happened. My manicures usually last 2-3 weeks without chipping and I only have out grown nails. Now I have 3 chipped nails and it's barely going to be a week tomorrow. I am very dissatisfied with my $30 manicure. I won't be going here again. read more

I have 4 out of 10 fingers that were nicked and bled. I had Amy as my nail tech and she was not apologetic whatsoever and heavily sighed each time she injured me. She actually seemed put out by having to wait while the bleeding stopped. The facility is nice, but the staff is rude all the way around. I had the SNS natural look applied. I am very simple to please and this is the first negative review I have ever left. Rest assured, I will not be back. Came here on my third visit. Highly recommended for good & somewhat speedy service. Nail technicians/staff are always available for customers. They are patient, friendly, & nice to the people they work on. Especially since I'm picky about how I want my nails to look like, they were patient enough unlike other places I've been at, always in a hurry & makes me feel like I'm not important. I only came here because I was running low on time and needed my nails done, I regret it and will never go back. I got a French manicure and the man who did my nails did not even take off the nail polish I had on prior to this mistake of a visit! What a joke! Ok nice enough staff but my goodness my nails had never looked worse. I came in to get a almond shape which I have never had a problem getting at any other salon in the past 10 years. The lady was very nice but I didn't pay $30 and 2 1/2 hours for someone to be kind to me. When started I told her I'd like my nails long and almond shape she pulled up a pic on phone n I said yes exactly. My nails ended up being half the length she originally had cut them and shaped like crooked housed. Been soaking them in acetone so I can remove them as soon as I got home because these are actually embarrassing. read more

I'm not one to leave reviews that are bad, mainly because I know things happen and being in the service industry almost guarantees bad days. I've been going to Gossip for awhile on and off and I've had really great manicure experiences and some good pedicures but this last one really got to me. I was seated for a pedicure at 4pm and wasn't seen until almost 5. The girl was apologetic which was fine, but when I requested a polish change instead of a full pedicure to save time, she did the full pedicure anyway, saying that she would be fast. She ended up nicking my toes multiple times with the emery boards and a drill while she was trying to hurry and scraping the skin around my nails as she very aggressively buffed them out. I understand she was trying to accommodate my time restraints but I don't agree with being aggressive and causing injury just to make more money. I'm saddened by this experience because I have had better ones but this was just a flat out painful service.
