We have been taking our dogs Tess and Willow to Got Pawz for years now! Tom and his staff do an amazing job, they are friendly, courteous and welcoming from the minute you walk in!! Tess our older dogs starts getting excited as soon as we get close! Katelyn knows our dogs by name and greets them with hugs as soon as they walk in! I couldn't believe how unprofessional the owner was when I called with some questions about their services. How this man ended up in the customer service industry is beyond me. Note to the owner - I'd recommend that the next time a potential client calls in that you make sure that they can't hear the judgmental and insulting comments you make about them to your coworker. Ultimately, I'm glad that I got a chance to see his true colors before I brought my dog in. I got a new puppy about a year ago, started going to Weymouth dog shop for grooming but one day they stopped answering all our calls & not responding to any voicemails so I did my research & found Got Pawz! I am honestly so disappointed in myself that I didn't do this sooner. Kate (I'm so sorry if I have the name wrong she's always the girl to answer the phone & at the front desk). is phenomenal. I honestly trust this woman with my baby. She answers all calls. Doesn't have an attitude ever & puts up with my never ending questions. She is very educated in the field & makes sure you get what you want. When I first arrived she came outside & met my puppy one on one. Best doggy day care around! The staff is super attentive, accommodating, and most importantly - loving! My dog is an anxiety ridden pupper and he runs into daycare! It makes me feel comfortable as a dog mommy that he is going somewhere he feels safe and secure... which is why I feel good boarding him there as well. He also gets his grooming done here! I don't know really how I should feel about Land Of Pawz. I dropped my cairn terrier off for a week long stay. I did try and watch him several times on the camera. That never seemed to be working right. When I did finally get to see him on the camera. He was always laying in the cement and no one was paying any attention to him. I watched one day for an hour while on vacation on my laptop. It broke my heart. I watched two girls just constantly walk by dogs who were just begging for attention. They didn't stop and give them a pat on the head or bend down and acknowledge the animals. They just walked around and sprayed off the pee/poop off the cement with the hose. I kept going back to see if this would ever change. I never saw it change. My dog was always in the corner on the cement all day looking sad. This is not my dogs behavior EVER! The part that really pissed me off is when I got him home he had scabs all over his back! My dog had a horrible skin infection. He immediately got sick and had to be taken into emergency care and be put on some heavy duty antibiotics! I can't imagine how my dog could ever have a skin infection...he's never had one in his life! He's 7 years old and healthy!! I was upset... When I picked him up he smelled like urine. This is after I paid extra to have him bathed! He was bathed...and clean..but, he still smelled like urine. The only reason I'm giving two stars is they were very nice on the phone and nice in person...I'm sure that deserves some sort of star. But, I will never be taking my dog back there...absolutely not!!! read more

DO NOT BOARD YOUR ANIMAL here unless you don't care about them!! I've been using LOP for a couple years now and something shady always happens when I'm either picking them up or dropping them off. This last time was so bad that I will never use them again and I will encourage everyone I know to stay away. As I was dropping them off, some idiot with her huge german shepherd was at the front desk. When I walked in, she nearly shouted at me to keep away. The front desk girl had to immediately go and put my dogs in a cage to make sure that they didn't come in contact with the other dog. As the idiot person was walking out, she says to me, "We have to be REALLY careful, as my dogs has had incidents with other dogs". I was shocked. Who knew that LOP boards dangerous animals. I thought the whole point of leaving them here was so that they could have fun, safe play time with other dogs. When it was my turn to 'check-in', I gave all the instructions to desk girl, she writes them all down. Apparently however, people who work there do not know how to read, because when I picked my dogs up, one of them (the one that is old and sick with kidney disease) hadn't been feed for the entire day. They were only to have 3 meals during their visit, however one of my dogs only ate once. ONCE!! When they handed back the can of food still half full, it took every once of my will power not the chuck the can back at her face. Are you kidding me???? I've spent thousands of dollars of the years trying to keep this dog alive and they just complete neglect to feed him, which for a dog with kidney disease and a litany of other issues is very bad. So basically, I hate them and am comtemplating contacing the BBB and the AG's office. A disorganized place like this should not be allowed to stay in business. read more

My dog suffered a bite wound from doggy day care when the place was known as "Land of Pawz." Another dog got loose from the attendants there, ran into the street and killed. My dog has been going to Land of Pawz for daycare for over 1 1/2 years. I can't say enough about how great it's been for both of us. The staff is great, and I know that they truly care about my dog. I always feel comfortable leaving him there, and he LOVES it. I'm a bit peeved by some of the other reviews, one complaining about their dog contracting kennel cough. your dog should have been vaccinated! and the other about the dog scraping his nose while in his crate. Land of Pawz makes it very clear that they crate when a dog is boarded. If you know your dog doesn't do well in crates, you shouldn't board him there. That is the one and only reason i do not use Land of Pawz for overnight boarding. My dog has come home with a few minor injuries, scrapes and scratches etc, which are to be expected when lots of large dogs are together and allowed to play. The staff has always taken great care to clean him up if necessary and let me know about any injuries. My dog is my best buddy, and I highly recommend Land of Pawz! read more

My dog is now a senior and losing eye sitev and hearing going but I know he will be treated with kindness with Caitlyn. She makes sure he gets in and out quickly. Got Pawz is the best. We leave our dog there for daycare several days a week. He loves it! The staff goes out of their way to treat him as we would. Their intentionality does not go unnoticed. We also leave him for boarding when going out of town. They have people who stay overnight and keep an eye on the dogs. I have been going to Got Pawz for 15 years. I had two dogs go there. Kaitlyn is awesome and a great. Groomer. I stayed there because Kaitlyn was so wonderful to my dog. She always did as I asked with short notice. For example, I would ask her to shave my dogs back side in the morning and when I went to pick my Great Pyrenees up, it would be done. She is an ASSET to Got Pawz and I'm going to miss her. Kaitlyn has always updated me on anything I needed to know. I will miss her. She is why I stayed there so long. It was a huge pain to take my dog there because it was totally out of my way but I stayed there only because of Kaitlyn and how she treated me and my dog. I wish you the best Kaitlyn. we have been bringing our 2 dogs to Land of Pawz for about 1.5 years. Our dogs love Tuesdays and Thursdays, because that is when they get to go play with their friends and romp around the yard, scattered with pools, and canopies and mats to rest on. The staff know me and my husband by name, are always friendly, and most of all, communicate with us about our dogs. I often receive text messages of my dogs snuggling with other dogs, or playing in the pool. I will also receive an email when my nervous dog is having a good/bad day, and what the staff did to handle the situation. It is gestures like these that make us feel safe bringing our dogs to Land of Pawz. They love our dogs like family! read more

I have never written a bad review about anyone but be warned I'm about to do so now. I have boarded my dog here for daycare for about a month now and will never do so again. I only wish I knew something about this place before I tried it out. I have never had to get dog daycare but recently my hours at work have changed and I needed something so my dog could be happy. Big mistake. Recently the owner who is actually not a very nice person, calls me at work just before 12:00pm, advising me that my dog has worms. He also informs me that he's being isolated and that I need to pick him up immediately. Fine I understand that and I actually appreciated the call but was a bit confused on how he got the worms to begin. The owner was rather rude and just informed me that I had to pick him up "now". So I had to ask my boss to let me go so I could pick him up. Upon arriving there I asked the owner if he had gotten a sample. He replied that he had. I also asked him if they had verified that the sample was from my dog. Which I did not get a response. Now at this point I'm just trying to figure out how my dog got worms. He's never around other dogs except when he's at the daycare. Now lately I've noticed a strong smell of urine coming off my dog when I pick him up. It's so bad that I have to immediately bathe him when I get home. He's even been occasionally wet underneath his body and it's absolutely disgusting. Now I realize that dogs sometimes just stink, but I was starting to question there cleaning methods. So while I was picking my dog up because of the worms I asked the owner about there cleaning regimen. Almost immediately he went on the defensive and accused me of making accusations about his facility. I explained to him that I was only trying to figure out how he got worms since I watch him very closely at home. His reply to me was "well if you don't like it you don't have to bring your dog here." I couldn't believe it! This immediately made me question if they had issues like this before. I got home and contacted my vet who immediately told me that they have had problems with that day care before. Apparently kennel cough, scabies and worms. I told him the story and informed him that they had given me a sample. He told me to discard it because there was no way to know if it really came from my dog. He then told me to get a fresh sample when the dog goes to the bathroom next. So about an hour or two later I get a sample and take it to my Vet. Guess what? No worms! He did however advise me to change daycare centers. So I called around and found another one and explained my situation. Well apparently they knew about him and advised me that he's had some history with some of there customers. So I asked around and sure enough this guy has all kinds of bad reviews and complaints against him. So I'm writing this review in hopes that someone might read this and rethink there dog staying there. Listen I understand that reviews can be bias but do yourself the favor and research this place out first. I know I wish I had! read more

Warning! Only go here if you enjoy unexpected extra charges and negligent care. I left my dog here for two and a half days, and when I arrived, I was informed that my dog had been separated from the other dogs because there was a fight, and they couldn't let her mingle with the other dogs. My dog is often attacked by larger dogs, and they put the blame on her! For this "special handling" they added an additional charge to my bill. The possibility of such a charge was never mentioned when I dropped my dog off. My dog came home from Land of Pawz with an ear infection that she had been scratching so much, her ear was bloody when I picked her up. They hadn't noticed this, or had noticed, not done anything about it, and not told me about it. I don't know which is worse. Secondly, they say pickup by 9am or they will charge an extra day. I got there at 9:30, because my plane was late, and was charged for an entire extra day. Yes, technically they were allowed to do this, but that strict adherence to the rules (when it makes them money) means you'll get no flexibility or understanding with Land of Pawz. Not the way to run a business, unless you don't care about repeat customers... read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!! If I could give zero stars I would! I boarded my pets here once before about a year ago- I was lured in by their "puppy cam" however it proved rather unhelpful seeing as they only show you a small percentage of the pets whereabouts on these cameras. The location is right on Rt 3A which is incredibly busy. When I dropped them off, the staff just whisked the puppies away to some back room without so much as a smile. The building had a strong dog odor that hinted that they don't clean too often...The owner was rude, incredibly short with me and demanded payment at drop off. I tried to watch them on the puppy cam when I got home to check in but the room they were recording was empty. I picked up my pups after only a one night stay and they STUNK! Their fur was dirty and they appeared scared and not at all their usual self. I am leaving this review now because I recently saw a news story about a dog that DIED on their watch!! The poor puppy was left out in the hot sun during the summer, with NO WATER. According to the story, the owner wasnt notified of their dogs death until they went to pick him up! The dog was left out in the yard with a blanket thrown over it. If that is not the most terrible thing I have ever heard, I'm not sure what is!! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY! I recently received an email from them, as I guess I am still on their mailing list and I was absolutely amazed that they are still in business. These people shouldn't be let near animals ever again. Do yourself and the entire 'pet lover' community a huge favor and stay far far away from them! read more

Thank goodness this place has been shut down, if only temporarily, for having a dog die while in their hands. We used this place until our dog got kennel cough there and then found out that this occurs with regularity there. The owner is the grumpiest person you'll encounter on any day that you go there. When you bring your dog in there or pick up your dog it can take 15 minutes while they "clean up" your dog from the overnight mess they get into. I'm not at all surprised to see that the Town of Weymouth has shut the place down saying it is not up to state standards, with feces, urine and other germy stuff all over the part of this kennel the customer never gets to see. We switched over to Doggieritaville, much higher rater here on Yelp, also in Weymouth and have been much happier as has our dog. read more

As Tom stated, the magistrate did in fact find in favor of the defendant, Got Pawz. However, it was not for the reason stated by the owner. The magistrate ruled that while it was probable my dog's injury occured at the facility while being groomed, they were not responsible since proper safety protocol was allegedly followed. A bit confusing to me, but that was the decision and life goes on. The magistrate also questioned my decision to have the surgery performed in the first place, since it cost more than the dog was worth. Found his position somewhat disconcerting but that's the way it goes. The majority of future Got Pawz customers will hopefully have better luck at this establishment than we did. I'm never taking that chance with one of our pets ever again. read more

I have a rescue dog that does not trust a soul! And I bring him to Land of Pawz three days a week. That says a lot. He is sooo excited to go and the staff is super friendly. The owner's desk is right inside the store so he's usually always visible which is a comfort level to me. By the time I pick my dog up, he's happy, tired and exercised. Which is great because after a long day at work the last thing I'd want to do is a marathon walk with this guy. He literally falls asleep on the car ride home. My favorite thing is the puppy cam on their website. You can check on your dog throughout the day and feel at ease that he's safe and happy. I pay $50 for 3 full days of daycare, that's a few bucks less than having a dog walker come by your house to walk your dog for a half an hour which is totally worth it to me. read more

We got our little Boston Terrier about 6 mos ago, and quickly realized that the little guy had more energy in his left paw than both my fiance and I have combined. We would come home from work and the dog would be practically crazed with energy. We, of course, just wanted to throw ourselves on the couch and stare at the TV! Solution: The Land of Pawz. This is a great place to bring your dog, both large and small. They separate the dogs to ensure that the big dogs don't trample the little ones. There's a little "Munchkin" area for the little dogs and they all stay together. Weather permitting, they bring the dogs outside to their big backyard playground and let them run freely (they are fenced in, of course). They have kiddie pools and toys and even have webcams so you can watch your dog play all day! They also offer an overnight-stay service, when you go out of town or on a trip. I brought my dog's bed, toys and food and he got to spend the entire weekend playing with his puppy pals. The staff there is incredibly nice and so friendly! They get to know each dog's name and I feel so comfortable leaving my little guy in their care. When I pick my dog up, he falls asleep as soon as he gets in the car! Ok well I work here my name is joe and I see so many changes and upgrades that Tom has made and I couldn't disagree enough with some of the comments saying untrue things about Tom and staff well Tom goes far and beyond for these dogs and his business and I no this I'm there every day with him on my but pushing me to work harder and to pushing me to learn more as well he also pays for someone to come in and train me how to give dogs C.P.R. And how to properly medicate and how to break up fight when they happen the safest way for me and the dog so no one gets hurt because the number one rule here at got paws is the dogs safety and staff safety and Tom shows me everyday he stands behind that rule this place has been open for years and only have they learned more on the way and bettered themself but they also made a place where it's safe for all dogs to come and play and have a great time with friends and not get hurt I love dogs and I have one I'd bring my dog here and leave him and I would not have a worry in the world just saying and again with all the upgrades Tom has made to the hard there will never be a dog getting out we also got new beds for them to lay on out side that are off the ground like I said everyday he improves this building and this business and I have to say my self I'm glad to be apart of this growing business and team and most of all family because that's what we are here at got paws one big family read more

We have been sending our dog to day care at Land of Pawz for about a month now and have been very happy so far. He can't wait to get in there when we drop him off and at the end of the day is exhausted. I love that I can see him on the web-cam. He always looks like he's having a ball and there is always a staff member out there hanging out with the pack. The web-cam does not always work, but I have emailed with their tech contacts who explained that only 10 users can view the stream at once. If anyone else tries to view it, the picture freezes. He said they are working on updating the cameras. My only complaint is I wish the dogs had a softer surface to play on, running around all day on the asphalt & astro-turf is really tough on their paws, his pads get really beat up. read more

I boarded my dog here once - she came back with a huge abscess on her foot. I had to bring her to the hospital, then soak her foot for weeks with antibacterial ointment. They didn't even tell me about it. Then when I called to talk to the owner he never called me back, and the staff gave me the run around and told me info I know was not true. My dog also lost so much weight that I could see her hips and ribs through her skin. She was there for a week. The staff said it was extra exercise. They don't walk the dogs here, the dogs play in a yard. I walked my dog 3 miles a day. it was that they didn't feed her!! They gave me back more than half the food I had given them. read more

I've boarded my dog Lucy, a 50-lb. Shepherd mix, at Land of Pawz numerous times in the past 6 months, after receiving a glowing recommendation from a friend. She is well socialized, so she never has had a problem being in such a large group. And she is up to date on her vaccinations, so I don't have to worry about any disease transmission. The staff has always been great- often accomodating me at the last minute- and it's obvious that they have bonded with Lucy (even giving her a nickname). Every drop-off/pick-up has been quick and without incident, and the price can't be beat. The best part is that she can't run in there fast enough when I drop her off, and she is always tired and happy when I return! read more

I would not recommend Land of the Pawz, Weymouth, MA. First of all the cameras do not work, and when I called to inquire about the issue, they were no help at all. My dog was boarding there and was somehow injured. They were unable to tell me what happened, however he needed to be taken to the vet, and was put under anesthesia (mind you I was out of the country when they called). We came back to a $800 vet bill. My dog was injured under their watch in their boarding facility,...and when we said they should pay the vet bill, they said they would sue us if we didn't reimburse them. The owner (the man) was very rude) and still could not tell us what happened when our dog was injured. I would never send this dog back to this place. read more

This place is fantastic! I started bringing my two dogs(one small, one big) a few times a week for daycare about two months ago. They LOVE going and practically drag me inside in the mornings. When I pick them up in the evenings they are happy and exhausted from playing all day. The owner Tom is incredibly nice and all of the staff really seem to care about my dogs. I've been taking my dog here for almost 4 years. she started going when she was 6 months. they have been amazing to me and my dog. she loves going and loves the people. doesn't even take a second look at me when i drop her off, yes she comes home sometimes with a few scares and cuts but its totally normal when you have that many dogs playing together. i live 30 minutes from LOP and go out of my way twice a week to bring her. I brought my three toy poodles there for grooming. to be fair, the first time they came out looking like show dogs and I was thrilled to finally have found a place that could groom well. The next time we went, the groomer handed me all three dogs and mumbled something about "checking Ricky's vision". What? No, it was something about having cut Ricky's ear but I didn't see the big patch of dried blood until we got home. I get that dogs get cut, but what I don't get is how someone can be so casual about having hurt a 5 pound 16 year old dog. Worse, when I called the owner to say that I thought it should have been handled better, he said: A. That's why you sigh a liability waiver and B. How do you know it was handled bad if you didn't hear what she said? For the record, I didn't ask for my money back or for reimbursement for the vet visit that resulted from the injury. Ricky's fine now, thank you for asking. Oh, and to add insult to injury, the ears were cut because they were trimmed close - Ricky now looks like Yoda. read more

AVOID! I would not leave my pet rock in the hands of the people at the land of pawz.... I used to have daily dog walks for my pug set up by them for a few months. A few times I came home and I noticed that my pup did his business on the front walkway as soon as I came home from work - which led me to believe walks I had paid for were not happening. When I called one evening to question this - I was told that my dog was overlooked and was in fact not walked that day... no apology. I contacted the owner and let him know that I was very disappointed in the lack of concern and professionalism by his "manager". He assured me that this would not happen again... but alas it did. I was not aware that there were any other dog walking services in my area at the time and thought that I was just going to have to deal with this horrible service. Then one day I got an email saying that my dog walks were being discontinued in one week due to them not offering the service any more - but I could have my dog in daycare with them... no thanks. The owner let us know that he would be happy to help me look for another dog walking service - I took him up on this offer, but big surprise... he never got back to me. Over our time with the land of paws there were some nice people who walked our pup - this is the only thing giving them even one star. read more

We boarded our 9 month old dog here last weekend. It was a last minute situation where the person who was set-up to take her overnight fell through. I was really glad they could take her on such short notice; I woke up early to have to vaccinated for kennel cough and off she went. The place is clean enough and I didn't notice anything particularly awful about it (e.g: I didn't inspect or question their cleaning methods) but I'll never bring my dog back. My pup is a boxer and boxers, in particular, have a tough time in the heat despite their short coat. They're not physically equipped to cool themselves off efficiently - overall, boxers are not good in extreme weather, period. This is an established fact for the breed. When we picked her up she had been outside playing, which is a good thing - except she was panting harder than I'd ever seen her and it took 25 minutes in blasting A/C to get her to stop gasping for air and panting like a maniac (never seen her that bad, even when she's sprinting around the park in the heat). Her veins were popping out and stayed like that for hours (that's 100% dehydration!!! body builders don't drink liquids leading up to a show to help make their veins pop out more. My dog is not a bodybuilder; please give her water.) and the inside of her normally light pink ears were *fire-engine red* and really raw and irritated (looks like they got nibbled or rubbed on the ground). This was really disconcerting b/c I would think the staff would know certain dogs like boxers, pugs, bulldogs, etc. have a strong sensitivity to really hot weather and adjust protocol for those dogs accordingly. She's a puppy so she won't stop playing unless you make her. My girl shouldn't have gotten so hot and dehydrated: she should have been put out for maybe 30 minutes at a time then brought into a cooler, calmer environment with cold water to cool off. It seems like basic care for the breed but that definitely isn't going on at Land of Pawz. If you're going to host different breeds, you should understand some of the main issues that will probably pop up with them. Also. The staff couldn't seem less enthused if they tried. We walked in and two women were working - we really inconvenienced them by asking to take our dog home. Listen, I know any job, even one where you're around cuties all day, gets tedious and old. And we all have bad days. I'm sure my dog loved playing and running around but I'm afraid of what might have gone down had we not picked her up when we did. Between the totally blank affect of the employees, the "If your dog escapes out the door and dies on 3-A, we're not responsible" waiver, and the fact my dog was nearly ready to pass out from the heat, I'll pay a few bucks more and go elsewhere. Really wanted to like this place, too, b/c it's such a convenient location. I am not one for writing reviews very often, in fact this is only the 2nd Yelp review I have ever written, but I feel that this is an important one. I can assume that if you are reading this, you are a dog owner and dog lover. If that is the case, please be sure that you never step foot into Land of Paws and most certainly DO NOT trust them with your pet's well being. I had many issues with this place so will try to be as brief as I can. I will preface this with I rescued my dog in December. At the time, he refused to walk on his leash down my driveway, let alone anywhere else. He would lay down in fear every time a person, car, or piece of trash went by, and was 100% shutdown. I worked my butt off to socialize him, put him into training classes and took him everywhere. He now happily bounds down the street for a walk and will enter new situations with relative confidence! So here it goes: 1.) The staff, as a whole, with the exception of one guy (I believe his name is Ryan) are the rudest, most unfriendly, dog-hating people I've ever come across. On my last day there to pick him up, I walked in to find the only staff member inside on a chair watching TV. It made me feel great knowing that I was paying her to do this. I have spoken to other dog owners, including my trainer on this, and they all agree. My trainer transports dogs there as part of her business, and she herself has said how terrible they are. 2.) The owner. Hopefully you never have to meet him. But in short, he is an arrogant prick. He talked to me like I was a child every time I went in solo about what I wasn't/should be doing with my dog, (despite all his awesome progress in 3 shorts months). However, when my boyfriend would come with me, life was peachy and Bentley was the best dog in the world. When I finally confronted him about how disappointed I was with his business and his staff, he told me his staff was the best there was and that it was impossible that anyone would be watching TV during business hours (why do they have one in the first place?) 3.) The way they treated my dog was the worst of all. He is young, a rescue, and certainly neurotic. I understand all of these things. He does, however, LOVE other dogs. He wants nothing more than to play. He had a hard time transitioning (he does love to hump) and this made him the world's worst dog. The lovely staff would literally sigh and roll their eyes when we walked in. When I spoke to the owner, he told me that for all the attention they gave my dog, I should be paying double. I'm sorry, but isn' that part of their job?! I know there are other dogs there and I wasn't asking for one on one play time, but come on! Every time I looked in the web cam there wasn't a staff member to be seen. To top it all off, he smelled horrible every time I picked him up. Land of Paws is, in short, a horrible place for pets and their people. I have since switched to Paws Rule and could not be happier. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET TO LAND OF PAWS FOR ANYTHING! read more

I emailed Tom, the owner, about the possibility of boarding my dog here...wish I read previous Yelp experiences before I wasted my time....I emailed asking about pricing, and normal questions related to boarding...We recently moved here from another state and am trying to find a clean and safe place I feel comfortable leaving my dog at while away. Apparently, asking questions about the facility and how it runs really threw him off guard. He was asking me appropriate questions, such as how is her temperament and if she has see a local vet. OUT OF NO WHERE Tom responds with, "Unfortunately, I have a funny feeling about this and cannot accept you as a client...I cannot put my finger on it, but I do not think our working relationship will work..." !!!!!!!! OMGoodness....good thing for him that I LAUGHED reading this response...I read over all the quick emails we had exchanged and could NOT figure out why he said this! How inappropriate for him to be judging me and my dog. If ANYTHING, he should have asked for me to come in and meet before he decided to not allow me to board here!! There are a TON of boarding facilities in the area and he could only be lucky to have ANYONE'S business!! He was totally rude, and when I called the office last night asking him to call me back so we could speak in person, to no surprise, he never returned my call, so that he could back up his inappropriate response. And, after having exchanged emails every few minutes, he all of the sudden was available via email...AGAIN, how unprofessional!! Today, I went in to ask him in person why he decided to ban me from his place. He refused to tell me why, other than he had a "funny feeling"!!! First, off, if he was weirded out why I ask if they temperament test their dogs, it should not have concerned him, as they should be doing that to each dog they accept anyway! And I asked that for the protection of my OWN dog, as I have no idea what kind of screenings they do on dogs....I own a $2000 show dog and he could only be so lucky to have me leave her there! He refused to answer my questions. So unprofessional, I cannot believe places like this are existing! The place was so run down and smelled of cigarette smoke. If ANYONE is leaving their dog there, please take a second thought! Seems very unsanitary and I would never trust my dog in the hands of a person like this! read more
