We were looking for a doggy daycare due to our dogs isolation anxiety. When we called, happy dog, it was clear the owner loves dogs and loves what she does. She let us know about nap time and was willing to accommodate anything he needed if he was not able to rest independently. (He did great and Michelle was on top of his need the first day). We were able to get in for an interview/temperament test within a week even around a holiday And once we passed, we able to start right away. The owner is very responsive to any questions or concerns you have. Her staff love the dogs and your furry friend gets a big hello upon arrival. Our pup comes home happy but tired and ready for cuddles and rest. Also, the packages they offer are extremely fair and worth it. Thank you Happy Dog! read more

The first time I brought my dog for a boarding experience here, it was absolutely wonderful. I interacted with a young woman who was absolutely lovely to talk to, very kind and clearly cares a lot about the dogs. At the end of the stay, my dog came home exhausted and happy, and I got to see some awesome pictures of his stay. The second time I brought my dog here a few months later, I was met by Michelle, the owner (she hadn't been there the first time when I dropped off, or during the temperament test). I will admit that I made a couple of mistakes here -- I was 15 minutes later than my anticipated drop-off time (but still within the drop-off window), and while I had seen an email from her when I booked my reservation, I missed the line at the bottom of the email with the link for my confirmation, and so I missed the info that was included through that link about how to prepare his food. This is entirely my mistake, I dropped the ball there by being distracted so I missed some important information that I should've known in advance. However, when I arrived with my dog, Michelle was clearly very irritated with me from the get-go. I apologized for being late, and tried to hand her my dog's food (I had put his meals in individual ziplock bags trying to make it easier, and put these inside a plastic container with his name and instructions written on it). Michelle scolded me for bringing a container and said she couldn't accept it; she took the ziplocks out and then scolded me for not writing his name on each bag, for separating out his food when they could have done it, for "bringing rawhide treats" even when I clarified that they were completely rawhide-free (she still refused to take them), for bringing his daily medication in his pill bottle (I had used an old pill bottle of his so it would have his name and dose on it, but she kept telling me she "couldn't be responsible for getting it back to me" even though I told her that was perfectly fine), etc etc. No matter how many times I tried to apologize and own up to my novice mistakes, she just kept circling and circling with her complaints. Now, I'll admit that I'm pretty sensitive and anxiously attached to my dog, and I was so shocked that I began to tear up as she continued to scold me (this feels so strange to write as a grown woman!). Michelle either didn't take a breath to notice or else just didn't care. I completely and wholeheartedly understand that she is running a serious business here, and takes the health and safety of our dogs very seriously which is why she has these rules. I am GLAD they have these rules. However, after I apologized the first 10-15 times and told her I understood, that I hadn't been told any of this the first time my dog boarded there so I didn't realize; I would expect her to ease up. I myself work as a manager at a preschool center, so a somewhat similar field, and I cannot IMAGINE ever talking to a parent/client the way she spoke to me. After she took my dog from me mid-scolding and left me standing at the door shocked and without getting to say goodbye before my first real time being away from my dog, I ended up sitting in my car for another 10 minutes just trying to compose myself. To top it off, my boyfriend was the one picking my dog up the next afternoon; he was coming directly from working in NYC, and was worried about traffic, so around 4:45 he called on his way to let her know his ETA was 5:45 but wanted to let her know JUST in case traffic pushed it past 6:00; Michelle told him firmly "You can get here anytime between 5 and 6." This feels like a pretty rude reaction to someone who is calling you well in advance as a precaution. In the end he did arrive around 5:45, but was reprimanded for not having our dog's leash (since he was coming from out of state, I'd think it's pretty obvious why that happened, but thankfully our dog is small enough to be carried). Happy Dog Pet Resort is excellent with dogs. The other staff that I met were friendly, kind, and compassionate. My dog was very happy there. Unfortunately, it's the owner Michelle that completely soured the experience for me and has left me looking for a new daycare center. I can't justify leaving my favorite being on the planet again with someone that could be so cold and compassionless. read more

We needed accommodation for our dog while we took a multi week trip away. We'd used other places before that were ok but wanted to look for something a little more caring and ideally with a dog bath before we bring him home. We gave Happy Dog a go and the experience was excellent. Our dog came back In tip too shape. The photos were great to track what was going on every other day and if anything, our pupper returned a clean, happy, and calmer dog with all the daily running with the other dogs in the run area. Drop off and pickup is on a time basis so recommend planning ahead. We're about to book again so pup can have another holiday :). Happy dog indeed! Recommended. read more

We had our one year old Labradoodle stay here for 3.5 weeks, while we took an extended family vacation. It was very clear he had a great vacation of his own. Michelle, the owner, is very professional and nice to work with. She sent me some updates on his stay while we were on the other side of the country. They have a great Facebook page, too, where you can view lots of fun photos of the pups having the time of their lives. They have a very large and clean outdoor space, where the big dogs are separated from the smaller dogs, and it is all managed very well. You can tell they really care about the dogs, their safety, health and happiness. I highly recommend Happy Dog Pet Resort. It was important to me to find a place where I knew my dog would be in good hands, be well cared for, and have a lot of fun. When I picked him up, he was bathed, smelling good and looked great! The content of this review was discussed at length the owner of Happy Dog by phone on Monday 10/1. I've attempted to explain in detail what happened below: We found Happy Dog about a year ago, and we boarded our three dogs (age 3, 11, and 14) with Michelle for just over a week. As part of her paperwork, Michelle had us sign documentation that would allow her to authorize medical attention for the dogs if warranted. The week passed, and they all came home happy & healthy- no complaints. A year later, we got married. Two of the three dogs returned to Happy Dog for the wedding weekend. We dropped off the 3 year old and 14 year old on Friday Sept 28. Due to a miscommunication between my husband and myself- we missed the drop off window by about an hour. We tried calling Happy Dog to let them know & nobody answered. When he arrived, Michelle chewed my husband out for 15+ minutes, but allowed him to make the drop off. Tawny, our 14 yr old lab mix was fine when she was dropped off. She is always excited to go places, loves car rides and consistently pulls on her leash. My husband recalls totally normal Tawny behavior this day. On Monday Oct 1, I went to pick the two dogs up. As soon as I arrived, Michelle said "why didn't you tell us Tawny is so stiff and arthritic? Do you give her medicine for this?" Michelle told me Tawny was so stiff and arthritic that she didn't get out of bed all weekend. Tawny didn't want them to touch her, and she peed the bed overnight (which they didn't change). Michelle described her as "really stiff and we thought she must be in pain from arthritis." I was not prepared for the state of the dog they returned to me- Tawny was so hunched over she could barely walk. She was happy to see me, but couldn't do much more than rest her face on my leg. She leaned heavily against me and wasn't able to balance herself. I literally exclaimed out loud when I saw her because I was so shocked by her physical state. I had to pick her up to put her in the car, and she was in so much pain that she didn't want to get out of the car. We immediately took her to the emergency vet who diagnosed a herniated disc, and put her on a nerve blocker and some significant pain meds. Two weeks of isolation and extensive rest and she is still not back to 100%. To be absolutely clear- I do not know how the injury happened, and I cannot hold Michelle or her staff responsible for the injury. What I take SERIOUS issue with is that Michelle made absolutely no attempt to contact us, or to get medical attention for a dog that was clearly in pain- pain that Michelle and her staff recognized and reported to me when I picked Tawny up. I contacted Michelle after the vet visit, and explained that I was not happy that she didn't contact us. She blamed that choice on two things; 1) not knowing Tawny well enough to know what is/ what is not normal for her, and 2) that because we missed the regular drop off time, Michelle wasn't able to ask us her normal questions about the dog's health. I cannot be clearer- there is NO WAY a human being would look at the way Tawny was moving and behaving and think that it was normal or that she wasn't in pain- especially someone who works with dogs day in/ day out. Michelle even said at one point that "we assumed that she must be in pain from arthritis." Why didn't Michelle call us to find out if we forgot her pain meds? Or to see if this was normal behavior? Or even call Tawny's vet to see if there is anything like this on record?!? None of the options were explored. While I am not around, Happy Dog is supposed to be my dog's advocate. Michelle and the staff monumentally failed to be Tawny's advocate. She lay in pain for 2.5 days, and on a pee soaked bed for at least a day. I feel so guilty that I left my dogs at Happy Dog, and we will never return. I encourage you to consider this failing as you evaluate Happy Dog's competence as your dog's advocate. read more

My black lab Maxx has been going to "school" here for several years. He absolutely loves it when when I ask him if he's ready to see his "friends at school" he runs to the car to get in. He has boarded there several times while we have been on vacation and have never had an issue. Be sure to book a bath and nail trim too and you won't be disappointed. BEWARE PLEASE READ IN FULL I wanted to like this place as I saw so many great reviews on here about it and decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately I didn't go with my gut feeling after also reading some negative reviews and the business owners defensive replies to criticism she was given. I brought my dog in for a trial day which went great he seemed to have a blast and was exhausted when he got home which was exactly what I was looking for however The next time I brought my dog would be staying the night. Due to miscommunication between my partner and I he had dropped our dog Zeus with only enough food for the day . He had spoken to the employees there and they had said that he could come back anytime to drop off food. We both work overnight and he went to drop off food at 6 o'clock on his way to work. Instantly he was met with attitude by the business owner saying " did you not read the sign" . She then proceeded to give him more attitude when he explained he was just doing what he was told by her employees. The morning we were to pick up she had called him not for an apology for how she handled the situation but rather to address the review he had left on happy dogs Facebook page. The entire phone call she did not recognize her own blatant rudeness rather blamed my partner for "not reading the sign " and interrupting the dogs sleeping. As a customer who was new to the process of boarding and home care you would expect Michelle to be understand of new clients and recognize that they don't always have all the information provided to them . With this in mind there is a polite way that you can explain how things work at your facility so that there is no need to greet someone with attitude when they are just trying to explain themselves or drop off food for their dog. My partner then proceed to go to the facility to pick up our dog as we knew that was an environment we no longer wanted to give business to . She refused to return our dog to us at 8am because it was not "the 9am pickup time" . My partner was met by her husband GUARDING the facility looking at an invisible watch on his hand stating " pick up is at 9 am. It's not 9am". After an argument she finally decided to return my dog while CONTINUING TO BELITTLE AND REPRIMAND MY PARTNER for not bringing enough food originally and asking him whether or not I would be happy with my partner due to how the situation transpired. She has a wonderful and creative way of deflecting her wrong doings onto her customers. She will probably gaslight this review and ask for it to be removed. I just started my baby boy here and he is LOVING it. Upon entering you get the most welcoming and happy feeling, as all the people working there clearly love the pups and their hearts are really in it. Michelle is awesome and clear with instructions. It is also very evident that she adores dogs and treats them well. I LOVE seeing how happy my baby is when I pick him up. I can not reccomend Happy Dog Pet Resort enough! 2-stars because my dog loved it there. Just be careful if you're going to be 10 minutes late to pick up your dog because the owner will threaten to not give the dog back that night. I honestly thought I was going to have to call the police. God forbid anything happens and you can't get there in time. Also, apparently a 4-6 PM pick up window should be more accurately 4-5:30. They don't like it when you come in too close to 6pm. You get called "non-challant" and shamed for keeping a mother from her baby. Real passive aggressive. This doggy day care is the best one in the area. Knowing the workers personally, I know that they treat the dogs with respect and the upmost best care. Not only do they make sure the dogs are active all throughout the day but the insure they are safe as well. Michelle and Jaimie are amazing! I started bringing my puppy here because we weren't satisfied with our first daycare and am so glad we found them. Michelle is very friendly and down to earth; when we came in for our meet and greet she had me and my boyfriend laughing within minutes. When I leave my puppy there it doesn't feel like I'm leaving her with a business, I feel like I'm leaving her with close friends. They are very attentive to all the dogs in their care and have an awesome set up with structures and multiple employees for the dogs to play with all day long. I can't say enough about how great it is to pick my puppy up at the end of the day and for her to fall asleep in the car and stay asleep through the night because she's had so much fun and exercise. Happy Dog Pet Resort gets a 5 star in my opinion. I was given the name of this place by a customer of theirs. I was apprehensive at first of bringing him in as I had already had a bad experience with another place professing to be a day care when in fact they were more like a prison (that's how I felt). Happy Dog Pet Resort has fulfilled the promise they offer to all dogs. I feel that when I drop Ronin off he is in capable hands, they understand that it is not only a dog, but an extension of a family member that is loved very much. I have been taking my Beagle here for more than two years. He is a rescue dog and is/was afraid of the world. Michelle and Jamie have worked with him and he now bounds from the car to get in there. We boarded our dog here recently and when we picked him up he had been bitten on the face. My husband heard one of the workers tell one of the other workers to wipe the blood off of his face. They did not say a word about what had happened. We were upset but was willing to give it another try because of other good reviews. When my husband called to book this weekend he mentioned the bite and the person on the phone acknowledged it had happened. My husband dropped our dog off this morning and soon after received a phone call that he had to come and pick up the dog because he had a "hot spot" on his face and could not stay. The spot they were referring to was the spot where he was bitten which has not completely healed. They denied that he was bitten there. Would not recommend this place, no integrity at all. read more

Best daycare around! Been with them for 3 years now. They will go above and beyond for your pet as they did mine. Mine got in trouble at another daycare in the area that wasn't very well run. They have a very large yard with different pens for differently behaved dogs. They pay special attention to new dogs so they are introduced to the environment very gracefully rather than thrown right in. They also do nap time. They'll feed your pet breakfast (bring your own food) if he/she doesn't eat at home on daycare days. Very accommodating to last minute schedule changes and boarding, too. read more

Just read a review from Katie McLaughlin from Quincy. If you take these reviews seriously, please do not let 1 NEGATIVE review tarnish the Happy Dog's excellent reputation (22 5 star reviews vs 1 1/2 neg). The circumstances Katie speaks of in regards to the care that Tawny received at Happy Dog is not worthy of such an unfair review. While I disagree with 99% of this review, I DO agree with Katie that she cannot blame Michelle or her staff for Tawny's injury. My dog has been going Happy Dog for daycare/ boarding for almost 4 years and I've never witnessed neglect or mistreatment of any of their clients. Michelle will NOT hesitate to call the client's owner's with questions/concerns as I can attest to. Michelle and Jaime have always had their clients best interest at heart just as if they were their own dogs (Michelle 3 Jamie 1). Katie states that they have only boarded their dogs twice in over a year, their first experience going very well (no review for that visit) for her 3 dogs. Let's not forget a few circumstances of the last visit. First, Tawny is 14 years young. What a wonderful and long life she is having, but let's face it, with age comes periodic incontinence, stiffness, tiredness, and other signs of slowing down, it happens in humans as well, especially with a herniated disc which if the disc is pressing on nerves can cause occasional leakage at times. Could it be that Katie missed some symptoms Tawny may have been experiencing with planning a wedding? Herniated discs can be symptomatic, depending on the severity and the animal's pain tolerance. Perhaps Tawny was in pain for a long period of time, but because of her high tolerance of pain it remained unnoticed by the owners? We all wish that our pets could tell us when they don't feel well so we can fix them, after all they are our family. Happy Dog is a business and rules need to be enforced in order to be successful. Structured play/down times and allotted pick up/drop off times. Michelle does not accept any client that is not a fit for Happy Dog. She is more than willing to work with families to fit their needs, and has always been accessible by text or phone. If Michelle doesn't' answer her phone, it's because she's doing her job or is busy with clients or families. Being over an hour late to drop off/pick up a pet without a phone call/text in this day and age is just rude. Could it be that with Mr. McLaughlin being late to arrive, did not have enough food for the dogs stay, that he may not have noticed any change in Tawny before she was dropped off? To say that Tawny was in a urinated crate for an entire day would NEVER happen! This is NOT the way Happy Dog operates. Perhaps Tawny was upset and depressed that her parents were going away, removing Tawny from her comfort zone, pets do that. Michelle and Jaime may not know Tawny as well as their regular clients but from Katie's review it sounds like Michelle was very a-tuned to Tawny who is considered a "senior" and she made Tawny as comfortable as she possibly could without complete knowledge of Tawny's background. Katie did not anticipate coming back to an ill dog, however the reality of it is that Tawny came to Happy Dog with a pre-existing condition which both the owners and Michelle were not unaware of. With all the animal cruelty abuse plastered in social media, grooming facility and dog daycare facility charged with pet deaths...these are the people and places that need honest reviews so that we can protect our pets. There was absolutely no mention of abuse or mistreatment happening in Katie McLaughlin's review of Happy Dog Pet Resort, although it was mentioned by an 3rd party acquaintance. I'm sure that the McLaughlin's were struggling with the fact that Tawny was in pain for many days prior to her stay Happy Dog Pet Resort and that they just didn't recognize the signs. Happy Dog is a huge facility with several gated yards for the dogs to play in. You can't beat the prices, the owner and staff or the peace of mind knowing that your dog is being loved and well cared for. read more

Warning!! Do not take obedience classes at Happy Dog! I signed up for puppy classes ($125.00). At the second lesson, Lisa demonstrated a technique that included slipping my hands under the puppy's collar and looking in him the eye and stating, "I'm the BOSS." I did this the next evening at home when he was acting up and he bit me in the face. I talked to at least six dog trainers who were shocked at this technique, saying that this should never be done - it simply challenges the dog. My puppy and I are now recovering in another obedience class. I asked Lisa for a refund, and she refused, saying that I should "take or leave anything I teach." And that her classes are too small to provide refunds. Now I know why her classes are small. NOT MY FAULT.. This was a disclaimer she NEVER gave. She yapped at me like an alpha dog about how awful my puppy is and how hard miserable he will make my life. He is doing fine now!!! read more

He loves playing with all his buddies and we know he's in the best care. The team at Happy Dog are kind, friendly and love these dogs like they are their own. I was referred to Happy Dog by my neighbor, George, in Milton about 3 years ago. At first I just dropped off my dog Sammy, an 11.5 year old female lab-mix for daycare. When I started to travel frequently for my job, I was lucky to be able to add boarding to the services Sammy and I receive at Happy Dog. I want to tell you about how amazing Michelle and her team are and how happy and trusting I am of their services and abilities. I dropped Sam off late last month on a Sunday to take a two day trip to Maryland for work. Michelle called me late Monday morning to tell me Sammy had become sick. I quickly contacted my vet. With my blessing, Michelle also talked with my vet. Then she went to the drug store, purchased Sam's medicine and started to administer it to her. Michelle called me on Tuesday morning to tell me Sammy was doing really well. When I picked Sam up on Wednesday morning, she was in good spirits and completely on the mend. I am so grateful to have Michelle and her team as my go to daycare and boarding team. They are amazing. My dog Bentley had been going to happy dog for 2 years. He loved it there and we thought the staff was great. Until recently, Michelle (the owner) gave me a gift card as a raffle item for the charity I am running the Boston Marathon for. Due to COVID-19 I had to cancel the fundraising event because of the pandemic, as a result, I did a virtual raffle through social media, doing a live feed on a Tuesday night. My husband bought raffle tickets and coincidentally won the gift card for Happy Dog, which was a 2 night 3 day board and stay. We recently planned on going to Martha's Vineyard on a Saturday, so we boarded the dog starting on Friday. I texted Michelle to see if Bentley was, as he acted a little weird when dropping him off. Michelle texted back to ask how I had a fundraiser when COVID-19 shut down everything, not even answering my question regarding the well being of my dog. I explained to her that I held the event via a virtual platform. She expressed concern that there was no longer a marathon and that she gave it to me as a contribution to fundraising. Further, she stated that in 6 years she has never had the person she provided the gift card to write their name. I called her and asked if there was a problem and she indicated that she didn't think it was right that we won the gift card. In my opinion, we did nothing wrong, my husband bought raffle tickets, and won it fairly. And yes she was correct in her knowledge that the Boston Marathon was canceled, but there is still a virtual marathon in September that I will be running and we remained dedicated to raising money for the charity. All the money I raised is going directly to help families in financial need with children going through cancer treatment. Since it was apparent there was a problem, I told her I would pick up my dog and he would not be boarding that weekend and she said "that works for me." When I arrived I tried to give her a check for the day of daycare and she said "no" and dropped my bag of food on the ground and walked away as she was talking to me. I told her to take the check because my dog was not returning anymore and she said "I agree to that." I am disappointed at what transpired and think it's totally wrong for a business owner to be acting this way. read more

We have been bringing our crazy, lazy golden retriever Daisy here for the last 2 and a half years since she was a young pup. Michelle and Jaimie always greet Daisy with wide smiles. We love Happy Dog! Our dog Sophie has been going to daycare there for 3 years and every morning I pull in the driveway she jumps around with excitement, she can't get out of the car fast enough! Sophie is a rescue and has many fears has and weird quirks (including a fear of all people except us, despite our best efforts to change that) but that girl loves Michelle and Jamie almost as much as she loves us! She has boarded with Happy Dog on a number of occasions whether it be for a weekend getaway or a week long vacation I never have to worry about Sophie. I know that she is well taken care of and I know that if I'm missing my girl I can text Michelle anytime for an update and she always includes a picture of her having fun or enjoying her favorite pastime, sunbathing. The flexibility that Happy Dog offers is key, if we decide to take a last minute weekend trip or need to switch a daycare day I just send a quick text and there is never a problem! (which is a lifesaver because there is no one else on the planet that she would allow to watch her if we go away). The prices are reasonable and if your dog goes to daycare regularly you get discounted boarding! Excellent experiences here. Michelle and Jaimie treat the dogs like family, sometimes scolding (gently), other times lots of play and lots of love! I live in Milton and drive about 30 minutes to Abington to take my dog here. I have not found anything better closer to me, and really do not see any reason to look. Highly recommended. read more

Have you ever had that feeling when you have ended up someplace you shouldn't be, and you have that "uh-oh" pit in your stomach? That's EXACTLY how I felt once I met Lisa Aprea, owner of Happy Dog. I honestly think this lady is mentally ill. She requested that I call her "in the evening" so I could ask her a few questions about her facility. I promptly called at 6:30 pm, then 6:46 pm, and when I couldn't get in touch with her, I waited a bit longer, until 7:30 pm. At 7:30, she picked up the phone and started *literally* yelling at me, insulting me for calling her "at that time of night" (AT HER REQUEST) and admonishing me for "waking up the dogs." When I visited her facility before the phone call, I saw that the boarding area is small and overcrowded...the dogs are only allowed to run free in her fairly small backyard. Otherwise, they spend their time cooped up in tiny cages, located inside her living room/kitchen (this business is actually her house). The poor pups were dirty, lonely, and I would NEVER EVER board here. I don't trust Lisa, and I don't think she treats those poor fur-babies with any respect or kindness. If you love your little pooch like a member of your family then it is your responsibility to keep them hapy and safe. For their health and well-being, do NOT board them here. Take them some place where the workers (and the owners) will actually love and care for them like they deserve! Take it from a Certified Vet Tech, they deserve better. I am shocked at the negative reviews of Happy Dog House and Lisa Aprea. I have been taking my dog to Lisa for 9 years for training, daycare and boarding. There are only two other people in this world besides myself I would trust my dog with and she is one of them. She is nothing but caring, loving and knowledgeable with training. The facility is always spotless. Lisa is the best. read more

I too have known Lisa for many years. She took care of my extremely spoiled and bossy bulldog. When I dropped her off, I noticed the dog areas were used looking, but not dirty. There was even background music for on for the animals. She gave me updates every time I called and took pictures of her playing. When I picked her up after a week, she was clean and happy. She was rarely boarded but never had any transition stress. She would take a good nap when we got home and then was her usual self. read more

Happy Dog is awesome! Michelle and her staff make my girls Bella and Tiffany feel right at home. They are always excited to visit! Bella and Tiffany rate it 5 paws! The girls always come home happy, healthy and clean! I drive all the way from the cape to bring my girls to Happy Dog. They get so excited when we get to exit 13 (Hanover). They know we are close! I've only been taking my pup Riley there for 2 weeks but I have nothing but good things to say about the place. You can tell they really care. Riley is so excited when I let him out of the car in the morning and is happy when I pick him up! Michelle and her team are great! read more

Lisa has trained and boarded 5 of my dogs over the last 20 years. I wouldn't leave my dogs with anyone else, even though I now an hour's drive from Abington. She (and her staff) have an uncanny ability to understand different dogs' personalities and needs. Highly recommend. read more

I can not say enough great things about this place!!! the owner Michelle is wonderful!!!! she is kind and understanding, especially with crazy owners such as myself who need reassuring that their dog is having a good day by not only responding quickly to my inquiries on how he's doing but also adding a photo to show me he is happy. it means so much to me as i have never had to board my nine year old pup until now. I actually started off at another facility and the difference is night and day. the other facility felt like i was taking him to an animal shelter, and the happy dog pet resort is like having him at home literally no cages and it is warm and inviting. The place is set up like a house for dogs, and it is great!! At my drop off this morning he did not even hesitate in going with Michelle which tells me a lot. i never knew it was going to be hard to find the right place to leave my dog, and i am so grateful i found this place. read more

I took my pooch Apollo there for a one week stay while I was on vacation. The place was clean and unlike most kennels the was no "dog" odor when I walked in. The dogs that were there were in the fenced back yard running free with a trainer. My Apollo fit right in. When I returned from vacation, my Apollo was freshly bathed as he had gotten dirty running in the yard during free play and they gave him a complimentary bath. He smelled great!!! The owner, Lisa, was pleasant and had treat bags to go for Apollo. The prices were reasonable and the overall experience was great. We will board here all the time now!!! read more

left my 4 year old (spoiled) golden for 4 days. When I picked him up on Monday morning he was thrilled to see me but I'm not sure he wanted to leave., This is the second time I have left him with Michelle, he was 1 year the first time and both times it seemed that he had a very nice vacation and was more than willing to stay with Michelle. Happy Dog is a great place, Baily doesn't get boarded often but this is the only place I want to use. read more
