To begin, I called and spoke to a very friendly representative in the office who scheduled a crew to come out and examine the door for a quote. Soon afterwards, I received a call back from the office with repair options and quotes. Once A1 had the availability date from the glass manufacturer, they called to schedule the installation appointment a couple of weeks away. During the wait, the office followed up a couple of times to remind us of the appointment and to check if the date and time still worked for us. When it was time to do the actual repair, the same 2-man crew came out. They were friendly and did a fantastic job with the repair, adjustments and clean-up. The replacement glass is perfect, and the door slides like new again. We're very pleased.

Thankfully , I found a replacement piece of glass in another old cabinet that was beyond repair, but sadly it was about and inch to long and an inch to wide . I called everywhere in town and another other glass place and a tile place wouldn't attempt to cut it. I stumbled upon a local treasure called A-1 glass where the owner John goes above and beyond and was willing to see what he could do. Thankfully, his skilled glass cutter abilities resulted in my cabinet looking perfect with all the glass installer back where it should be. From the worker over the phone in the office to the staff and to the owner I say thank you for helping me keep a little history alive in this old antique. It isn't worth much if resold , but it was priceless to my family , so thank you all. You just gained loyal customers for life .
