The inside was clean and there were two workers I saw working at the counter. You need a membership card here to play. Once your money runs out, you can reload at the machine or go to the desk. You can also put your tickets at the machine up front to claim your points and swipe your card after you are done. Most of the games were working so that was cool. Hardly anyone was there on weekday at around 2 in the afternoon. The mall didn't seem busy during the weekdays so that's a plus. I would definitely return with my hubby and daughter. They have so much fun winning prizes.

So one day we were at Windward mall and saw Fun Factory. This Fun Factory is huge. There are so many more games and activities to do than the Kahala one. The floor space in there seems a lot bigger too. I liked that there was a good selection of kids games too. My daughter had a choice of what she could play. She had a great time and when it came time for redemption of the tickets, it also went smoothly. Of course she wanted a stuffed animal... They did have one to redeem for tickets and it was a lot cheaper than when we redeemed for one at the other location. She was happy and so were we. This place is definitely worth visiting again.

Admission for Keiki Republic - Kids are $15/$16 approx for one hour and one parent is free with one paying child and additional parent would be $5.00 (hope this info in helpful) Parking - Don't have too work about parking lots of ample parking at windward mall and it's free parking as well so you don't have to stress about parking. Add... We are smack dab in the middle of moving to Texas. We were lucky enough to get stationed in Hawai'i and be surrounded by my family. Now it's time to leave. He has not stopped raving about his gamer experience that he was able to share with all his friends and cousins! I totally won Mom of the Decade award. Score!!!! I have no idea how I am going to one up this party next year! Even the adults got in on the fun! Pretty sure they enjoyed it more than the kids! The owners are nothing short of AMAZING! It actually was much cooler outside in the lobby and in the mall than it was inside the theater; at least in #5. Also, during the movie, Mortal Kombat 2 (don't judge lol), there was an issue with one of the speakers. There was a loud "banging" noise that I thought was part of the fight sequence soundtrack, but then the level didn't change, and it interfered with hearing the actors dialog... pretty annoying. It lasted for about 5 minutes, then it finally stopped. With the staffing cutbacks (self ticketing, no greeter or ushers, limited concession staff), I know it must be difficult to manage the bldg, but the uncomfortable conditions and sound issue, it certainly doesn't make it enticing to return. The overall movie was okay, notwithstanding the issue, but it's been better.
