I had an accident, and I was recommended this shop through the insurance company as one of their select service providers. As they appeared to have great reviews online, I decided to take the car to get it repaired after my accident. They had me take took 3 days off work to go take the car for repairs, and every time, they could not accept me for multiple reasons. After a month of this back and forth, they said they were not going to repair my car because they did not want to do a third-party claim. They hinted several times that I would not be able to pay my share of the cost of the repairs. Ernesto (the customer service representative here) personally told me so. They wanted me to pass the claim under my insurance, which I told them on several occasions I would not do because my third party claim was already approved. Anyway, if they didn't want to help me repair my car, they shouldn't have told me so from the beginning instead of wasting a month of frustration, back and forth, and time lost. read more

I stopped by Gotham City Collision to have some damage that occurred on my Chrysler PT Cruiser evaluated. While parked on the street somebody hit my driver's side front and rear door denting both and bending the frame so that the rear door wouldn't open. The car is old I don't have collision insurance on it. When I got to Gotham Frank the owner greeted me and asked me what the problem was. I explained my situation; he came out and took a look at it. He checked and saw that one of his mechanics was available and asked me for the keys so he could take the car in the back. He invited me to have a seat in the waiting area, which is by the way quite comfortable. I hardly had a chance to look through one of his auto magazines when literally, in less than 10 minutes he drove back with my car: the dents removed, the bent door corrected and the rear door opening perfectly fine. Even the scratches on the door were fixed! How he did that in less than 10 minutes I don't know. If this didn't happen to me I wouldn't believe this review. They were very hospitable but I was disappointed to learn that the repair date would go pass Labor Day weekend :( I get a call a week before Labor Day weekend to come pick my car up! Unfortunately, I couldn't since my money was funny. Gotham worked with me and granted me time to gather money for my deductible. When I finally got it together, I went to Gotham to find my car looking like new! Since the damage spanned the entire passenger side (front and rear fenders, front and rear doors), I was worried about the constancy of the new paint and the cohesion of the new parts (fenders and doors) with the rest of the car. This location was convenient for me and based on the reviews of their 1st shop, I decided to get repairs done here to both my bumpers, paint correction and ceramic pro coating on my '17 Maserati Ghibli. After visiting the shop and speaking with both Frank and Dominick about what I wanted, they walked me through how they would go about it and gave me to the penny how much I'd be paying at the end, not an estimate. That kind of up front clarity on cost is what I respect most when I'm doing anything to my car. Dom told me I would get the car back in 2 weeks and he did exactly that. I got my car back on the day he told me I would which was extremely helpful as this was an out of pocket expense and I had a rental to turn in. Also, the rentals are through Enterprise and they will bring the rental car to the shop for you and you're allowed to drop the rental off at the shop when picking up your car as well. I could not be happier with the quality of work this shop has done. You can't tell where any of the imperfections were now as the car looks fresh off the lot again. Might name her Black Mirror now. I told him I was going to Florida in about a month and I wanted my car to be fixed before then(more than enough time for him to do it). He kept giving me dates and every time I came or called he had to post pone it and telling me come back another time. Since I left the car there he hasn't worked on it. Professional and excellent to work with if you need any body work on your car. My 6 week old Mazda was hit on the street while parked (no note left, so I was stuck paying the whole deductible and going through the claims steps via Geico). Gotham City and Geico turned this stressful act of vandalism into a smooth process. I brought my Mazda in after contacting Geico and I was met by Chris at the front office. I showed him the car, and he told me step by step all the work that needed to done in order to fix the car. He even promised that when all was said and done, "you won't even be able to notice that your car was in an accident. It will look like it's brand new." He then told me that he contacted the car rental company and they were driving the rental car to my location. I was given a Jeep Compass while my Mazda was getting its work done. The work on the Mazda took about 2 and a half weeks. I was given pictures and text updates on the progress of the repairs. When the work on my car was finally finished, Gotham texted me for a pick up time. When I was saw my car, I was SUPER IMPRESSED! It looks brand new!
