That kind of friendly service really stood out to me. The room was another highlight. It was spacious, exceptionally clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax and work without feeling cramped. I especially appreciated the quality of the bedding, the convenient bedside USB charging ports, complimentary Wi-Fi, mini-refrigerator, and in-room coffee setup. Everything felt well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The bathroom was also spotless, and the rain shower was a nice touch. For the price, I thought the overall value was excellent. You get much more than just a place to sleep, the boutique design, comfortable accommodations, and on-site amenities make the stay feel more special without being unnecessarily expensive. The location was probably my favorite part. Being right in the Delmar Loop made it incredibly convenient to get around. There are restaurants, shops, entertainment spots, and music venues within easy walking distance, including The Pageant and Delmar Hall. It was great not having to spend much time driving around just to find something to do or grab a meal. Definitely a 5-star stay for me!

Celiac Foodie Traveler:…read more The hotel was fabulous, the staff- so friendly & helpful. The room had a king size bed, a couch, refrigerator, small coffee brewer, ice bucket w/ cups. Huge snack pantry for purchase with a variety of items. The room provided breakfast in the main lobby. Celiacs have the choice of Hard Boiled Egg, Fruit and Cheerios. The warm food items are all baked in a huge oven so cross contamination is eminent. The chef did say they have a separate toaster in the kitchen for Gluten Free items provided by the guest to toast. As for the room, incredibly clean, stocked and even had a small Swan Towel in the bathroom. The bed was super comfortable, fluffy pillows and was clean. 5 Star for the STAY & Quality 2 STARS for the Celiac Food Options- (Hotel Mgmt- add prepackaged GF items) Overall, highly recommended the hotel, but for my Celiacs- not recommended for breakfast meal but a quick bite of fruit and java! Happy Travels!!

There is a $10/night fee for self/ parking, which is a bit odd. There are spaces right outside the hotel or in lot just behind it. I will say that I was unaware of the fee for parking (I just happened to hear someone at the front desk telling a guest about it). I always check-in through the app, so I often don't come in contact with the front desk staff. Once I overheard that conversation, I called the front desk from my room and the parking fee was confirmed. I had to give them a description of my vehicle and I the state of registration. Makes me wonder if I would have been ticketed or towed if I didn't learn of the parking situation. There should be signs or a note in the app notifying guests about your parking. That is my only complaint. Rooms were fine, the free breakfast was standard for a Hampton Inn. Worth noting: there was no closet in my room. I found this to be very odd. There was a full length mirror bolted over what appeared to have once been a closet. Luckily I didn't need to hang any clothes, but that was really odd to me.

Having stayed here several times over the years, I've consistently found it to embody the high-end service and quality you'd expect from the Ritz-Carlton brand. The Lobby Lounge is an excellent place to unwind. There's plenty of comfortable seating, a sushi bar that adds to the experience, and an atmosphere that's both elegant and inviting. Even though the lobby was bustling, it somehow still felt secluded and relaxing. One of the things I appreciated most was being able to enjoy a conversation without having to compete with loud music or excessive noise. Service was exceptional from start to finish. We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of bubbles along with a bourbon, and everything was presented flawlessly.

I know I'm only Marriott Gold but still, I thought someone there would care enough to be interested in helping. I'll be at a function there soon and hope to report back with better service. For now, I'm avoiding this property.

We get what we need and he asked us what we were there for and we said it was our 5 year anniversary and he told us find him in the grand hall later that night and he would treat us to something! In my mind it would be something small but when I tell you this man went SO FAR out of his way to make sure we had an amazing night! He started us off with a whole bottle of champagne and then asked us about dinner which we declined since we weren't hungry then asked us about dessert! We got the key lime margarita and the pistachio margarita and he ended up getting the ACTUAL desserts that went with the drinks! A key lime pie and a pistachio dessert! We had a wonderful time talking to him in which he let us know about the polar express that happens around Christmas and more that made us EVEN MORE willing to come back! And to top it all off all of that was on the house! That gesture that Jon did not only made an awesome night even more amazing it made us want to and WILL tell anybody and everybody about the hospitality, care, and time that Jon and MANY other staff put in to make our sweet moment even more memorable and meaningful that it could have ever been! Sydney that works at the bar in the grand hall and Jon deserve a raise for the time and care they put into our night and we will ABSOLUTELY be coming back!! THANK YOU!!

The public spaces in the hotel accommodated all our needs smoothly whether it was a meeting, breakfast, motor coach access, or a banquet (the rooftop event space was spectacular). The proprietors were accessible and explained their choices in the remodeling without being defensive in any way. Our stay here was one of the highlights of an extended weekend in St. Louis. Would highly recommend. Although the hotel is downtown it is not in the most developed area, but the quality of the operation made everyone attending pleased to have stayed here as opposed to some more expensive cookie cutter options in busier parts of town.

The lobby was inviting and the front desk staff was helpful getting me checked in. I booked a room on the fourth floor. The hallway was a bit dark and felt more like college dorm than hotel. The Fleur-de-Lys is the epitome of a luxurious getaway. Whether it is the quaintly appointed guest…read morerooms or the delightful library and parlor, each area of this former residence is unique and meticulously maintained. While it is not likely the norm, the owners, Mark & Leslie, met us at the front door, quite literally inviting us into their establishment. It was simply the most welcoming manner in which to be introduced to this treasure and Leslie quickly engaged us with the history of the home and how she and Mark had recently become the owners. We chose this destination based upon the significance of the Fleur-de-lis to my love, a native New Orleanian. Given St. Louis' rich French heritage, the mansion was originally outfitted with four chimneys that feature the fleur-de-lis design and the pattern is repeated throughout the home. While we enjoyed a quiet morning coffee in the back of the property, a lovely shaded patio area, she noticed how many places the symbol was present. She actually made mention to Mark & Leslie that they could make an activity out of counting/finding all of the fleur-de-lis around the home. What a fun idea! We were fortunate enough to book the Tower Grove Park room, a spacious room fitted with a king-size bed and a two-person jacuzzi tub. There is even a 'fainting couch' for that extra French touch! The bed was amazingly comfortable and the decor and accoutrements were exceptional, right down to the pocket doors and writing desk. But a B&B is set apart by the fare served in the morning, and this is where Mark, a chef by trade, and Leslie, a self-taught baker, knock it out of the park. That morning's menu included a fruit starter, fresh juice, Leslie's home-baked sourdough toast and home-baked English muffins, and Mark's egg and sausage soufflés with country potatoes. The entire breakfast had us completely over the moon! We felt so at home that we wanted to clear our own place - so we did! The rates are competitive and well worth every moment spent here. There is parking behind the property, as well as across from the property, and each guest is allowed a unique security code so as to gain entry while you are enjoying your stay. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this getaway, and Mark, Leslie, & assistant Sammy made us feel like family from the moment we crossed the threshold. We'll be back - and you should give Fleur-de-Lys a try!
