Great experience with GotPrint. I've used Vistaprint in the past, but they charge quite a bit for double-sided business cards (it's fine if you just do single-sided). GotPrint was about half the price and the cards turned out great. I designed the cards myself using Inkscape and uploaded the images without issue. The cards are high-res, easy to read, and the cardstock weight makes them feel professional. They took over a week to get here (which is long by today's standards), but I was in no hurry. They printed a brochure which was totally different colors than the proof they sent then refused to stand behind it. They kept blaming it on us when they sent the proof that we approved. Customer service kept sending me to "Quality Control" and finally I spoke with the Manager! The first question he asked was, "How did you get me?" Evidently, he doesn't normally talk with people. After we spoke, he was rude and said they only re-print when it is there fault - totally denied blame blaming it on our file! I had others look at this and they said it was definitely a printing issue. We are a graphic's company so the artwork was fine, had it printed somewhere else and it looked great. My last order never came in, and after contacting GotPrint, I was told I needed to sign an authorization form. This is not a form I've had to sign in the past, and we use Gotprint 10+ times a year. They never sent me an email regarding my delayed status, and the last email I received stated that it was approved for print. Without concern, I asked they fix this by applying next day shipping and they charged me for it. They've misprinted items in the past and never once apologized or made it right by offering a discount on my next purchase or by offering next day shipping considering the items I ordered were time sensitive. If you want a job done for cheap, use GotPrint, if you want a job done right and have time constraints (like most of us) and expect professional service, use someone else. read more

Awful and rude customer service. I kept asking about pricing for additional business cards for additional employees and they were not clear in responding. i.e. They'd send confirmation emails with cryptic IT ticket / work order numbers but not answer the question. When I asked them the third time, they responded "We've told you twice. Please read!" It turns out you can't order the additional cards until the first design is shipped at which time you can go in and "re-order" for $15. Once my order was completed, I sent a follow up email 2 days later to see when I would be able to place the "re-order." They said it wouldn't ship for another 7 business days. I canceled the order as I needed them sooner than that and they wouldn't refund the design or the cards (which hadn't yet been printed). Would not recommend. Rude and poor service. read more

Reducing my rating again. Their customer service is lazy and more interested in blowing us off than actually helping. We spend $10,000 to $15,000 per month with this company. I shudder to think of what customer service would be if I were a normal retail customer. My current fight is just getting them to let me set the correct email for communications on my orders - and I'm literally 45 minutes into the effort. Their prices, print quality, and reliability on production are second to none for long-term business. That is why we put up with them. Turnaround time said 2 days. It took two weeks to make it to printing and just got shipped today with no rush shipping to account for their mistake. Now because of this horrible company I will miss my deadline. I'm headed out of state for an event with no advertising and no time to print new show cards. Customer service has been good up until recently. With my most recent order, their online status updates said that the product was "In Print" for a full 2.5. weeks. When I finally contacted support they never replied with a "real" answer...only a auto-generated report apologizing for the inconvenience. When I finally did speak to someone they informed me that they could not change my order because it was "In Print." Well, it had been that way for 3 weeks at this point. Because of the time it took to "print" 500 door hangers I was unable to use them to promote a community back-to-school event. So, they told me I could disregard the order and they would refund the shipping. After giving up on getting a full refund, I asked them to not ship the order and to refund shipping. Two hours later I got an email saying that my order had shipped. So now, because of their manipulative business practices I gave them $80 for nothing of use in return. I suggest using Vista Print. Customer service is much better and turnaround times are half of Got Print's. You'll pay just a hair more...but it's worth it to avoid the headache I just experienced. read more

One of my business card orders had a fair number of them printed (or more likely cut) a little off center pushing my text too close to the edge of the card. I placed an order of 100 family Christmas cards that unfortunately did not go well. The cards were doubled-sided and on the back side the pictures looked great - exactly how the proofs appeared. On the front it was washed out and our family of five looked like ghosts - not at all like the proof. They were bad enough that I simply couldn't send them out. I called and spoke to someone in Customer Service who politely indicated they couldn't make any decisions, and that my issue would be sent to Quality Control for their review. Shortly thereafter and despite no further conversation, I received an email letting me know that the problem was within their allowable margin of error. They went on to offer me a meager $5 discount on a reorder. I didn't find this to be an acceptable compromise to remedy the situation so I called back, again blocked by Customer Service, who insisted they didn't have any decision making power. This power rested in Quality Control - a team which I was not allowed to actually speak to. Finally and after a considerable amount of pushing, I got looped through to a Supervisor after being told they had all left for the day. Having spoken to five different people and respectfully stating my case, I was told that they were unwilling to compromise further. Each year I order cards and I've never had an issue. I thought I'd try GotPrint this time round and wish I would have paid more attention to the reviews. Not sure what part of the above falls within the promise on their website: "First-time customer? No problem! We offer a Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee to our first-time retail customers for orders with a subtotal up to $100. If you are not entirely satisfied with the finished printed product, you can send it back to us for a full refund of the printing cost only. Hello Consumers, For the money, GotPrint is hands-down the best value for money. Business cards are a little tricky as you must be careful when chosing a font size. What looks proportionate on the computer screen using their online software could actually result in a very tiny font. I've had to reorder twice because all the text was too small to read. However they did refund my order to make it right. Use the recommended font size and nothing smaller. A recommendation for them would be to include an "actual size" image before you submit the order. Brochures: I've ordered thousands and their system is fairly fail proof using the manual 24 hour proof. They email you a final proof and if it isn't right they will email you why. The only complaint I had is the learning curve following their required formats and templates. The customer service was helpful, but you felt like you were bothering them with your questions. You can tell they didn't want to interact directly with the customer. Overall I'm happy and will continue to use them. You cannot find a better price and makes for an accepatble trade-off regarding their phone manners. read more

This lead to them shipping my order to the wrong address and wasting precious time and $19.22 in postage (and me having to overnight 7 lbs of printed materials to the correct address.) Not only that they're customer service managers are POWERLESS to MAKE CUSTOMERS HAPPY. They lead me through a convoluted process that involved several phone conversations and e-mails with Quality Control in order to request a simple discount of my next order to make up for the $$$$ LOST. Even more worst than the driver's license office!! I spoke with one of there representatives and they informed me that i would have a white border around the back side of my cards. I said o.k cool that's fine. in fact i thought that would actually add to my design. lol When i received my cards in the mail they were all printed at an angle. Woah wtf!! my cards are tilted. I cant pass these out. That explains the worst print job. Now for the customer service. I received the first package of cards. lol notice i said first. My girlfriend received the next package of cards. wtf!! I only placed one order. now for an explanation . I called got print in response to an email they sent me saying that my cards may be cut off at the edges and that i need to re upload another file to there template. I spoke with a representative as i was uploading the new file to insure they were done correctly. which i followed through the link that was connected to my original order. Me just wanting to be safe, while i was on the phone with Got Print, i checked my order and i noticed a couple of orders were made. I stated to the representative, "hey can you go ahead and erase the other orders since I'm giving you the o.k on this order to print, because i don't want you guys to charge me for any other orders just this one. ( at this time no charges had been made to my girlfriends card at all for any orders). The Got print Representative insured me that would never happen. LOL WTF it sure did happen. i placed this order on Jan. 20th it went through on the 23rd and then on the 25th five whole days later, sure enough they charged me again. This over drafted my girlfriends account. I called got print to inform them of what happened, I explained to them how i ask there associate to cancel any and all orders besides the one I'm giving them the o.k on. the craziest part is i only uploaded the exact same design. It's clear that i only wanted to place one order for this particular design. Who wants to pay 2 different shipping and handling fees, and two different rush order fees for the same cards. Common Sense would tell you to place one order. The people at Got Print basically told me to kiss there ass they are not refunding me anything. And then hung up the phone on me. Even though this was completely there fault. I referred 8 of my friends to these people already. LOL. Never in my life again. If were you i would stay completely away from such people. So, it's obvious...anyone writing a negative review about GotPrint has actually dealt with the company. Any of the positive reviews are surely coming from employees of GotPrint. My problem is no different than anyone else's. I needed a 6x9 postcard printed with color on both sides. The first job came back with the image for side B turned 90 degrees. When I asked for a reprint, the second job came back with the postcards on a larger sheet containing the business cards for an auto-detailing company. Had ANYONE at gotprint inspected the print job before it was shipped to me, they would have surely seen the printing mistakes. I paid extra for shipping on the original order. Now I'm supposed to take pictures of the misprints and send the images back to someone at the company. If I take the time to do that, I will surely be met with the same runaround I've been receiving for the last 3 weeks. Do NOT use Gotprint.com! This company will run you around when they make a mistake... and, in the end, use your time, money, and efforts. Do yourself a favor: go somewhere else! I received some tent business cards which show ripping in the paper after they are folded. After having pointed out their mistake, and accommodating their million requests, they then give me the standard "well send them back in for a refund." Well, what about the previous ten steps you had me do? Couldn't we have cut all that out? After I provided proof of your mistake, couldn't you just have said "send them back to us" and I would have said "okay." But no... instead, they waste my time, have me traveling around Peru while I was there trying to send them the info they request, just to give me some "well, send them back if you want anything from our mistake." GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! ---------- UPDATE: Thanks to GotPrint for the reply. While I understand the desire to improve business processes, the entire process can be handled with a more customer-centric focus. Requiring a seven step process to fix a mistake caused by an individual at your company is not customer-centric and then, at the end of all this picture taking and emailing back and forth, requiring us to travel to the post office to return the product is too much. While it may be "within your terms of service" to return the product, at the end of this long and drawn out process I have put in way too much time into this bad order and refuse to use any more of my time to do so. If I were to accept, it could be viewed as though I wanted something for nothing. I ordered with GotPrint last year and thought it would be ok to give them repeat business. I have never been more wrong. I ordered business cards a week ago and they have not even started on them. I just got off the phone with customer service and the guy told me the earliest they will be done is Wednesday. 100 business cards requires close to two week to print? I don't think so!! Well, I haven't even gotten my order placed and I'm already done with this company. Back in January I submitted an order and after a few weeks of no word I emailed the company and included all the info I could think to include. I was told there was never any order placed. I could've sworn I had placed one, but whatever. So several months later I tried to place the order again after some design changes. Again, I get no word from the company, so I email them. with my username and ask them to please check. Apparently a 4 sentence email was just too taxing to read all the way and I got a coarse email back asking for my username. (By 'coarse' I don't mean vulgar, just unpolished and unprofessional. All their email communication has been like this. It hardly inspires confidence!) I gave it to them AGAIN and they then told me that there were issues with the files because I hadn't used their templates. Well, I had most certainly used their templates, the stupid things were hidden layers in the files I sent them! I log into my account, see that I HAD submitted an order in Jaunary, they just didn't check well enough. The January order had been canceled due to non response. The email address they were sending emails to were going unanswered because somehow (I suspect Chrome's autofill) my spam email address was put in the account instead of my business address. It seems this company has no interest in my business since they can't be bothered to pick up a phone and call me when they get no response to an email. If I hadn't emailed them immediately I'd be waiting another several weeks before I realized there was a problem. No thanks, gotprint. I don't do business with companies who can't communicate with me. Cheap business cards from a company that wont steal your credit card (like another one that is based in Jamica will do). The cards are profesional and not flimsy. There's no way to build a relationship with them and get a loyalty discount, which is annoying for us since we order new cards a few times a year. read more

The proof looked great but when I received my order the white in the water mark was dark blue and you could not see my print. They argued it was my fault. offered a discount on "next" order. They offered me a 100 dollar credit and after passing me around to 4 different people only to find out the person who can help me is magically unavailable. $500 order and their guarantee only goes to the first hundred bucks. Customer service sucks, Guarantee sucks I will pay the extra money and go somewhere else. Have seen quite a bit of complaints about Gotprint, and while some people might have a legitimate complain against the company, most of the complaints have come as a result of the poor planning of customers. I have been a gotprint customer for 10 years, and only a few times did I ever have any real issues. But with those issues GotPrint has done their best to address them and to please me as their customer. The prices are great, the turn around time is exactly what I expect every time, and I always make sure my customers plan a head to avoid the possibility of having to order at the last minute. This was my first time ordering from GotPrint. I wish I would've been smart and read the reviews first, they're spot on. It was such a hassle to get the uploaded image JUST right. We would fix something about it, and then get a response saying something else was wrong. This happened four times. I finally had to email and professionally say "Just print them already, this is ridiculous." After I sent the email, I did get a coincidental quick email saying the post cards had been printed and shipped. After paying for 3 day shipping, we finally got them two weeks after placing the order. When the order FINALLY got here, it was excellent quality. First let me say that I've ordered from GotPrint before when I was an administrator for a not-for-profit and for the price, they do a good job. But, the experience I've had on my current order is just horrible! I needed hang tags for an event this weekend and placed my order last week. After being told yesterday by a CR (Jeff) that my small order for 100 hang tags was done and just needed holes punched in them and to call back today at 10am today to see if they were completed, I call back and was told by Fernando that my order had not even been printed (a lie) and wouldn't be received until next Thursday. After I informed him that I was told last night that they were indeed completed except for holes and I could pick them up today, he put me on hold and came back on the line and said that was not the case. When I asked why was I told different info last night and someone is misrepresenting the truth, he then began to get sarcastic with me, which I told him I did not appreciate. I asked to speak to a manager and he said he was connecting me to Matt, a manager. I was then transferred to who I was told was Matt's assistant, Ryan who grilled me over and over again demanding to know if the first CR had GUARANTEED that I could pick up my tags today. When I informed him that CR and I had discussed that the tags were ready, except for the holes, which I had told him that was OK, we'd do those ourselves and just pick them up as is today, Ryan continued to repeatedly ask me if I was guaranteed I could pick up today and tells me that they wouldn't be ready until next week. I told Ryan that if that is what had been told to me, I would have made other arrangements to pick up supplies to do tags myself for the event this weekend, but was told that they were printed and just needed holes. I was just calling to see if I was picking them up with or without the holes today. After much frustration in trying to communicate with Matt, I hung up very upset! Fifteen minutes later, I receive a call that my tags are ready for pickup today and I'll be receiving a discount on my next order. Why was I put through all of this for an order that was already done (as Jeff has told me last night)? My initial issue wasn't that the order may not be completed when I needed it as I knew the time frame was tight. But once I was told that they were done and could be picked up in time for my event, I cancelled my contingency plan. To be told an entirely different status the next morning was extremely upsetting and the added sarcasm and disrespect has completely turned me off from GotPrint.
