For the price and sooo many options- absolutely not bad at all. Just choose what you like and no one is forcing you to try everything. The hibachi where the guy stir fries your fresh food - cannot beat that!!!!! Please tip them! The service is good and cannot complain. Kids loved the desserts with an ice cream fridge. The food was great, but unfortunately our experience with the service made us feel very uncomfortable. Our table's cups had been empty for about 20 minutes, and we had difficulty getting our server's attention because she repeatedly walked past our table very quickly. We eventually had to stop her ourselves to ask for three cups of water. When we made the request, our server, Abby, responded by saying, "Oh my gosh," in a way that felt dismissive. Instead of bringing us fresh cups of water, she simply refilled our existing cups. Since one of the cups had previously contained Sprite, the remaining soda mixed with the water and made it taste unpleasant. Throughout the rest of our visit, Abby also appeared to give us unfriendly looks after we asked for the water, which made us feel unwelcome. The food was enjoyable, but the customer service did not match the quality of the meal. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests. read more

My friend and I went to the buffet this evening and not even 10 minutes into the establishment we were berated by a small angry man yelling at us for dropping a utensil we never dropped. When we responded in confusion he proceeded to call her several derogatory words and causing a scene. We then told the workers about what happened in which they SAW they dismissed us completely and allowed the man to continue eating at the restaurant when we expressed how we felt unsafe. I give this place 3.6. Nothing beats NY chinese food, Philly NJ comes close. for the allentown area this is probably the best buffet they have. I go there for the stir fry station. place is expensive for an entire family, but that's just the economy we live in. I will be going back just for the stir fry which my kids also like. If they could do a better job w/ the food quality on the buffet as everything tastes frozen & not fresh i would give this place. but this is still the best place in the allentown area. read more

Atmosphere is clean and cozy. Without a doubt an upgrade from the Flaming Grill Chinese buffet on grape street in Whitehall, PA. That place is awful. This buffet has a good variety with above average tasting chinese food. I found the prices a bit high especially without including a drink. Is it worth the money? Probably not. The worst service I've ever experienced. Made a reservation 2 weeks prior. Reservation was set for 4:30pm. Long story short, we ended up leaving at 7pm without being served. They took our drink orders which took 30 minutes to get. Finally took our food orders, brought out appetizers and we sat there till 6:45 waiting for our food to come out. After speaking to the manager, who was quite rude, and explaining to her we had been waiting over 2 hrs, her solution was telling us they can box the food if we wanted to leave. We had people from out of town with us for my daughter's graduation. It was truly embarrassing. Needless to say, we declined the boxed food insult and decided to leave. But not before they made sure we paid for our drinks and appetizers. They surrounded us as if we were planning to dine and dash. My family has been going here for years. We like the fact that they are open on holidays when other places are closed. We feel that it is usually better than others in the Lehigh Valley. I will admit we went here for dinner and a few times it seemed that the food wasn't as good as usual but still 95% of the time it was great. I have been going here a few years. The service is always great, the waiters are great, the hot ooblong tea is the best, I love the sushi selection is awesome. Its always clean when we go, and bathrooms are kept clean as well. Food is kept up with too, always on top of refilling them when half full or almost empty. read more

There were 9 of us there to eat at the Gourmet Buffet on Hamilton Blvd and were treated horribly by 3 of the workers over a few shrimp that supposedly was on the dinner menu that NO one told us about. Incredibly rude. We were a party of 8, sat less than an hour and tipped over $50 and the waitress and other staff were still rude as hell, she literally snatched my 2 year old plate of food out from in front of her which made her cry.... One guest from our party paid for the meal and another was to tip and did tip in cash, that waitress took the $20 off of the table and told us to leave and took my daughters dessert bowl from in front of her while she was still eating as well. We got up to leave and she said "bye get out" I told her she was rude. She started to yell about the tip and I told them they were tipped $20 at the table and an additional $30 cash at the register after harassing another member of our group so for $50 what is the problem. She then brought me the receipt with no tip which was correct because they tipped cash which the waitress didn't realize we knew, then she tried to give me back the $20 from the table and then the $30 from the tip left in cash at the register. I refused the money and told her it's not about money it's about basic respect and that all she needed to do was apologize to my child for taking food away from her, which of course she refused and told me to take the money which I didn't. I'm sure they were waiting for me to be disrespected of ignorant like them but no luck for them. I guess they like to create diversions and scam large parties out of their money, weirdo behavior. So if you like your children having food snatched from them mid bite and a lesson on how grown adults can't take accountability go here. read more

Buffet, seltzer, tip = $20. Very few places where you can get that much sushi at that level for that cheap. Nothing I had was the best of this or the best of that. However everything was pretty good. The rib tips were way over cooked but I kinda liked it that way. I assume it's because it was sitting under heat lamps for a long time. The Sushi is really good. The wasabi that goes with it not so much. It very liquified. Almost like water was added. The egg rolls and the sweet and sour chicken were my favorite take aways. It's hard not to over eat at a place like this. It's also hard for me to not feel queazy from eating too many different types. If you're into buffet this place will hit the spot. read more

Some dishes don't have any flavor, like the fried calamari, butter shrimp etc. The sweet and sour sauce was perfect for the chicken. The oysters and mussels taste like the ocean. As a professional competitive eater and YouTuber who reviews mainly buffets I was thoroughly impressed with my lunch here. I ate there on a Sunday right when they opened and you could tell all of the food was freshly made. All the items filled the serving dishes. Sometimes you will see some dishes half empty when a buffet opens as that is the food leftover from the day before, but not here. My friend and I enjoyed over 29 lbs of food, yes you read that correctly. Even with all of that we still did not touch at least 2/3 of the buffet and none of the hibachi. Their selection is so big that it will take at least 3 - 4 more visits for me to try everything. There is something for everyone, you will not be disappointed. Coming in from any other entrance go toward the Hampton Blvd Eastbound exit and turn RIGHT at what appears to be the end of the building... you'll find the extra row of storefronts. First time there with my parents. They have good seafood with excellent octopus! We all love it! Everything was great. Kind of a bizarre experience. We walked in and waited to be taken to a table. At the time someone started to take us back and another waitress ran up screaming and crying and our girl left us standing there in between where we started and our table while three of them stood there screaming at each other. Finally the girl came back to us and apologized and seated us. Ok, so weird start. The food was not bad. Nothing to write home about. Everything was lukewarm or almost cold in temperature. At one point we needed a drink refill and it wasn't until the very end that we were able to get that. No one checks up on you. Overall my comment would be ...needs improvement. I was there this evening 4/24/21. I walked in and was handed a pair of gloves, no explanation so I asked if we must wear them at the buffet. I should have been told what they were for. Waitress was terrible. If you can't speak to me, I consider that rude. Everything on the buffet was cold and dried out Fried shrimp was dry, gravy had a skin over it and burnt. Mashed potatoes were old and dried out. Half the pans were near empty. They evidently had the buffet items out since they opened today. This was the WORST meal I have had in my lifetime. The staff doesn't speak to you and when I spoke to the cashier about this all he could say was sorry. So I paid $16.00 to eat 6 cooked shrimp, unbelievable. Me and my boyfriend came here for dinner on a friday night. I have not been to a buffet in awhile and I will say they got a variety of food. I was surprised by their sushi. Usually buffet's sushi is plain and boring, but they actually had deep fried sushi rolls. Even though they don't taste as good as the restaurant quality sushi, I was still pretty content with their sushi selection.
