At this point the hostess directed us to the sign for 20% off "the QR code is right there", she said. So, we scanned it and it indicated that the 20% off is for the next day. We asked about it and she said "just show it to your server". We had our meal which was a bit of a disaster (not our fault, more on that in a separate review!) and we needed to change tables. Check out time came and our server took my phone (with the coupon which resulted from the QR code scan) to the "manager" and returned saying it wasn't good until tomorrow. We objected and they then started playing "I'm not the manager" or "I'm one of the managers but someone else deals with this", and the game was to make us wait so long we would give up. They had many technical excuses on why they couldn't give us 20% off, so we suggested that they comp one meal (due to the other problem at the table). Then, magically, they were EASILY able to give the 20%off. It's my feeling that they are deliberately misleading people at the door. So, if you want to go to KPot and not endure what we did, just go in, snap a picture of the QR code, and go to the restaurant within a week or two of getting the code. FINAL NOTE: Many hot pot places will refill your broth when it runs low. They refill with WATER! (what??)

The lady I interacted with was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the split plate of sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken, which came with fried rice. To complete the meal, I also added an order of egg rolls. The portion sizes were incredibly generous; more than enough food to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. The split plate was an absolute delight, allowing me to enjoy two of my favorite dishes in one meal. The sesame chicken with tender pieces of broccoli was perfectly cooked, with a crisp exterior and tender, juicy chicken inside, all coated in a deliciously rich sesame sauce. The sweet and sour chicken was equally impressive, featuring a delightful balance of sweetness and tanginess that really hit the spot. My family and I ate here for Thanksgiving last year. It was surprisingly delicious! My wife and I returned last week and it was just as good. That give huge portions at a very good price. Also, the service was excellent both times. The lady that owns the place (at least I think she owns it) waits the tables. She is cheerful and makes you feel welcome unlike many places that seem to just want to turn your table as quick as possible. read more

The staff was friendly and attentive, the waitress refilled my iced tea when it was only half empty, and even checked on me (not too much) regularly.
