They LIE. They now start preparing the food when you pull up - however they will tell you to give them a 'few minutes' and you'll be sitting there for 35 minutes. Or longer. Great food! Came on recommendation and ordered some dinner specials & their to die for pork egg rolls. Dinner specials were egg foo young, jalapeño chicken & orange chicken. I did also order beef lo mein, crab & cream cheese wontons and the Singapore noodles. Service was slow but the food was hot & fresh so that more than made up For it. Really wish they offered a dine in option but maybe once the neighboring construction is done they will. read more

Take out. First time at Asian Kitchen in Ridgeland, MS. We usually go to the same place for Chinese fast food, so we looked up if there were anywhere new to try. This place came up, since we haven't been... why not? We ordered a large combination lo mein, general tsao chicken (extra crispy), wonton soup, sweet and spicy garlic wings with shrimp fried rice. The bag was hefty, so I knew the portions would be big before even opening it . Their portions were very generous, general tsao was crispy, lo mein noodles still had a nice chew to it, wonton soup needed a tad more flavor, but wontons itself was plump and plentiful. 6 piece large wings came with fried rice, upgrade it to shrimp fried rice and you got yourself a huge box of food for $11! Definitely my top 3 places for Chinese fast food around the Jackson metro. It won't let me check in or tag them for some reason. read more

Stopped by Asian Kitchen when they first opened. Conveniently located on the border of NE Jackson and Ridgeland, off of Countyline Rd and Wheatley. We tried the combination fried rice, combination egg foo young, combination, lo mein, and lemon pepper wings. Service was courteous and prompt. The prices were decent. Food was decent., not bad. But nothing really exceptional compared to the other Asian restaurants in the area. read more

Delish!! I got the fried dumplings and $10 black pepper chicken dinner special. 1-that's a ton of food for $10. Easily could have fed two people, possibly 3. Best black pepper chicken I've ever had. It's a drive through Chinese Restaurant. Price is reasonable, couple dollars more expensive than other Chinese Restaurant dishes. The food is order to make so it's hot. That's why I gave them the 4th star. But then the wait time for the order takes about 15 minutes even I was the only customer. I ordered twice. First time was the shrimp fried rice. Stopped by for lunch this week to try it. Drive thru only just fyi. I ordered the dinner special with general tsao's chicken, noodles, and I also tried the cream cheese wontons. I thought the chicken was excellent. Very crispy and generous portion. Sauce had nice flavor. The noodles I usually prefer a little more garlicky and less saucy, but they were decent. The cream cheese wontons were also a generous portion. I would prefer them to have less filling and more savory flavor. They were huge pouches of sweetened cream cheese, but they were crispy and the red sauce was good. The egg roll was well seasoned, very peppery cabbage mixture I enjoyed. This is the most authentic Chinese food in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, I don't live close to the restaurant. So, I order their food with DoorDash. I have to pay $6.99 for delivery. I ordered delivery from here while traveling in Jackson. It took an hour and a half to get the food (at 9:30 PM) even though they were just a mile or two from my hotel. I had chicken mai fun and it was just ok. The portion was very generous and there was a lot of chicken, though. I asked for a ginger ale and got Sprite, which was disappointing. Went on Valintine's day. Had bang bang shrimp and pork egg rolls for an appetizer. My wife had pad thai and I had the chicken with cashews. All the food was good, although a little pricey. The service was good, and the restrooms were very clean. All in all a good experience. read more
