This place is horrible. First off the staff is rude. The prices are out of control. Seating is horrible. No bathroom?? Really. Where does the staff go and do they wash their hands. Let me back up for a moment. To start I thought it was going to be a cool meal and place to sit. Usually Main Street you have indoor/ outdoor seating. Which they do sort of, indoor 2 tables crammed into a corner. They make coffee, but you need to do only what they know which is not much. They have a cooler for soda, which is double the price you can get from the convenience store Dales 25 yards away. The prices are outrageous. I did not even order because the rudeness, the cleanliness, and the prices. $20+ for a sandwich on bread. These are not subs, they are smaller than my mom made for school. I understand though. Boarding school on the hill. Take advantage of the kids because not much around for them. It is insane. This place needs to be avoided at all cost. read more

The "Sandwich" I ordered didn't even have bread on it. Just 2 sorry slabs of eggplant with nothing but unmelted cheese floundering in the middle. On your menu under "Sandwiches" it reads, "Eggplant- Generously sized (lmao) breaded eggplant with arugula, red onion, provolone, & balsamic aioli on fresh ciabatta bread." Look at this picture for crying out loud. In what way is this cheapskate poor excuse for food generously sized?? They charged me ~$45 for 3 sandwiches like this and refused to reimburse me. This quaint little place on the main drag of a little town. There is outdoor seating under the front roof and benches on the side in the grass area. Everything here is home or locally made. The menu here has a perfect amount of items to choose from and it's pretty diverse with flavors. You could be ordering a sub full of meat or choose from one of their vegan options. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a shot. If you're a local, you already know because there's no good places to eat in town. Note: Their vegan ice cream is not worth the price. My wife and I were headed to PA yesterday and I wanted to find a nice lunch spot not too far off Rt 80. After seeing some Yelp reviews, we decided to give Gourmet Gallery a shot. All I can say is...Thank you!! This place is a hidden gem! The food was excellent. I had a sandwich special and my wife had a salad. We split a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was fantastic! I had a hot chai latte which was the absolute best I've ever had! The prices are very reasonable and the service extremely friendly. Out experience at Gourmet Gallery was exquisite. The food was amazing, the atmosphere is charming and the service was so great if felt like home. My husband and I shared fries (best I've ever had) and a special which was a corn patty over a bed of Arugula, both were delicious. For dinner I had portobello mushrooms with cheese and tomato and my husband had Pasta with mushrooms both we finished fully. We had a cake made for my husbands birthday which was extremely personalized, also one of the best desserts we've had in a long while. We had a perfect experience. I HIGHLY recommend a stop here. Went out for a leisurely drive on this crisp autumn day hoping to end up at the Walpack Inn for lunch.... it was closed. So back on Yelp I went and found this place pretty close by with great reviews. It was about 1:30. A bit confusing when you walk in - do you seat yourself? do you wait? a bunch of the tables were dirty but empty (3 of the 6) 1 table had a group of women who were done eating and 1 table had seated themselves and were still waiting to be acknowledged. Someone eventually comes out and we sit at a semi-clean table with no silverware. So the service here stinks - the 4 stars are for the food. We order the sweet potato soup (amazing) They claimed it was a cream soup but I'd be really surprised if there was more than a teaspoon in the entire pot. Then had the turkey rueben and he had the blt wrap. What made his wrap so special was the wrap itself. Toasted and warm. I'd definitely go back - food was totally worth it. read more

What an unexpected delight! Right smack on Main Street in lovely Blairstown NJ is this cozy, friendly and absolutely outstanding eatery. Choosing to dining outside on a late spring evening we were treated to a pot pourri of vegan, and non vegan delights. Chose to start with enormous vegetable egg rolls, which the chef wrapped (on request) in a gluten free Vietnamese vegetable wrap. The size of an enormous burrito (2 to an order) and stuffed with the freshest vegetables imaginable, along with a side of sweet and spicy sauce. For main dish we were treated to a perfectly roasted portobello mushrooms nested on arugula, tomatoes and mozzarella slathered in a balsamic vinaigrette sauce. Also had a perfectly grilled burger topped with multiple slices of well done bacon, swiss cheese and onions. The best onion rings ever came along for the ride. One issue was the fairly chaotic yet friendly waitstaff, but certainly nothing which would prevent us from returning.....an absolute gem!! read more

I stopped in here for the first time on a bicycle ride with some friends. I always have my own snacks on a ride but my mouth was watering as I looked at their bakery case. I also checked out their menu and other selections like their salads and made a note that I'd have to come back here and eat a real meal. Not long after, I was there for the Friday the 13th festivities, and I had ordered ahead of time online. So when I got there, my Cape Cod Wrap was waiting for me. I liked that I could make it vegan. I love this place! There is a cafe side with to-go food and a full espresso bar, and a restaurant side with a pretty original and fresh menu of sandwiches, panini, salads, soups, and some hot sides. The fried pickles and the onion rings are to die for! All of the food is really fresh, made to order, and substitution friendly. There are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options as well. They also offer a Thanksgiving sandwich year round, which is super yummy. My favorite sandwich is the avocado BLT. The desserts and coffee are also amazing, and shouldn't be missed. I just wish they were open later. And that they participated in a delivery service like Doordash, etc. Because I want their food all the time. read more

What a wonderful surprise! My parents have lived in Blairstown for the past 10+ years, and I'm sad that I didn't come here sooner. This is my #1 choice of places to eat in Blairstown... and my favorite sandwich, panini or wrap place in general. Their pulled pork sandwich is my favorite, along with the Ham, apple and Brie wrap. The gelato is AMAZING and they always have some new flavors. They recently added fried pickles to the menu which are the BEST around! Their sides are always different , but the broccoli salad is my personal favorite! Price wise, from my experience, they are the same if not cheaper then other gourmet sandwich cafes around. If you're in a rush they have the menu online so you can call ahead. Sandwiches are made fresh so it may take a little longer, but definitely worth it! read more

My personal favorites are their quiches, soups, and harvest oatmeal, and of course all their desserts are wonderful. On a side note, I was pleasantly surprised that a waitress complimented me on nursing my daughter in the restaurant. This is a really charming little luncheonette with a creative, delicious menu of sandwiches, wraps and ice cream. They're family friendly and have three options for seating: inside the main cafe, outdoor picnic tables or a newly-expanded dining room. I am curious how expanding will effect their kitchen capabilities, but so far so good. Two things I have gotten there a few times are the Thanksgiving sandwich and the ham, apple and brie wrap, both really tasty. They will also cater events, or at least they did in the past. Well just a bad pick on food today-2nd time was pretty bad. The server was great but that's it- my turkey Rubin was only toasted on one side and just mushy- my wife's Thanksgiving sandwich was a horror show- no turkey on it ( essence of turkey maybe ) and the stuffing was a brown drizzly goo that looked like it came out of the turkeys rear end- I must say it was so gross -presentation and taste wise) we did not even pay for it. Very tasty and welcoming. Fried pickles were indeed a hit with our family (2 adults and 2 kids). The onions rings were great - french fries were a small portion. Wish they were thinner. We had the special onion soup which for some reason had a lot of bread in it and unfortunately provolone cheese on top of it vs. the traditional gruyere. Mozzarella panini was tasty, grilled cheese was too bread heavy and not enough cheese. There's a restaurant part of it for sit down and there's also the take out. I would suggest taking out the wall to combine both. Seems very awkwardly split up. I would also suggest chairs that are just wood or metal.
