My granddaughter had just mentioned she never had a sundae really what luck! This ice cream shop is very cute and you get to make your own sundae or whatever you desire ! The Ice cream is fresh and delicious , the caramel frozen Yogurt tastes just like the best ice cream you've ever had!! The mintiest mint flavored ice cream!! Everything is So delicious I If you like a long drive or possibly spend the weekend in Bridgehampton or Montauk you won't be disappointed ; there's plenty of places for dinner but I only recommend Sundaes for dessert !! AND don't miss the candy room in the back yep your kids will love this place and so will you!! They have a large variety of ice cream flavors delicious so many choices !! Topping are sooo good and you won't believe the selection from sprinkles to chips and more! I must mention the friendly staff and they also sell cute headbands ( little ice cream cones print) made by Katie B Boutique Shop! Made in the USA!

Topping Rose House, Bridgehampton: Culinary Highs and Service Lows…read moreRating: (Food: 9.5 | Service: 6) Topping Rose House remains a bit of a Bridgehampton enigma. As a spot we find ourselves returning to a couple of times a year, the kitchen continues to operate at a gold standard, even when the front-of-house seems to be stuck in a bit of a fog. The Food: A Seasonal Symphony If you are coming strictly for the palate, you will not be disappointed. The freshness of the ingredients is palpable: * Oysters: These were pristine--served icy cold and exceptionally fresh. The mignonette was the standout here; perfectly balanced and bright, it elevated the oysters rather than masking them. * Pea Soup: This was a revelation. It tasted as if the peas had been picked just yesterday; it was vibrant, "green," and utterly delightful. * Lobster Roll: While it was admittedly small in stature (especially for the price point), the execution was flawless. It was bright, crunchy, and avoided the heavy mayo-trap that many local spots fall into. The Service: A Comedy of Errors Unfortunately, the gap between the kitchen and the dining room was wide during this visit. While our waitress was personally lovely, the actual mechanics of the service were incredibly frustrated: * Timing Issues: We were offered bread at the start of the meal, yet it didn't grace the table until we were finished eating. * The Water Gap: Our sparkling water sat empty for far too long. Refills were offered, but like the bread, they arrived only after the meal had concluded. * Lack of Proactivity: There was no offer for drink refills throughout the courses. * Accountability: Most disappointing was the lack of acknowledgment. Mistakes happen, but a simple "I'm so sorry for the delay" goes a long way. Instead, the lapses were never addressed or accounted for. The Verdict: Topping Rose House serves some of the most phenomenal, fresh food in the Hamptons. However, when you're paying Bridgehampton prices, you expect the service to match the caliber of the kitchen. We'll likely be back because the pea soup and oysters are hard to quit, but we'll be crossing our fingers for a more attentive experience next time. mi

As seen in the pictures, my wife got the hanger steak sandwich with fries and I got the eggs Benedict with the lobster flambé ( added an extra egg ). Absolutely delicious as always. We also had a couple cocktails which were outstanding. My "napoleon old fashioned " may have been my favorite drink I have had since my old fashioned I had a nobu about 5 years ago. Only knocks is my wife's steak was overcooked. She asked for med-rare but it came out med-well. We didn't say anything because it's all about flavor and the flavor was there. Other than that, delicious. I forgot what they called their actual dessert but to me it's an affogato which was good. Now, here's why it only got 4 stars and not 5 : THEY TOOK CHOCOLATE MOUSSE OFF OF THE DESSERT MENU!!!!! Pierre? Say it isn't so. Honestly, my wife and I come out an east a bunch of times a year. Your restaurant is usually on our radar. For me, it's for the mousse. It was so decadent, light, and just oh so good. Sad to see it go. Hopefully it comes back. I have to believe it was popular enough where enough people will say they miss it. All in all, can't ever miss when going to Pierre's. Excelllent French cuisine.

You couldn't honor your reservations and after finding out that it would take at least an hour to get seated. We decided to leave and seek another venue. and then you had the nerve after you couldn't honor my reservation on time to charge me $200 because YOU failed. The young lady at the front desk was snotty and nasty when after asking her when we were already a half hour waiting for our 815 reservation how long she thought it might be before we could actually get Seated she couldn't have been nastier but finally said at least 20 to 25 minutes, which is when we decided to leave What absolute nerve you have your food isn't good enough and your service truly isn't good enough to have this kind of snotty attitude. There was no place to stand. There was no place to sit people walking in dripping wet, and you decided that someone whose reservation you couldn't honor should be your captive or pay you $200 for being badly treated and your failing to honor the reservation even close to the reserved time! trust me we will never darken your doorway again and of course I've already started a dispute over this absurd behavior by you and will not ever pay you this money.

The waitress was nice but there was a problem, he charged two other things that we never ordered on the check, we realized only after I paid, and tipped him 20% of that total amount!! we proceeded to tell him and pointed the items that were never order by us and he said you guys are absolutely right that's a mistake, he took the check back to cancel and redo the payment, he only took 1 of the items off and left the tip that was for the old total! So not only he made a mistake twice but he also had the audacity to leave the old tip from the old total on the new check with only one item removed!!! Will never go back to this place! I am giving this 2 stars because the sushi was fine but nothing to write home about. Annoying they gave us the smallest amount of ginger and soy sauce for several roles and were annoyed when I asked for more. 2. We ordered the vegetable stir fry and red Thai curry and they are basically the same. The red Thai curry has that sauce soaked in the rice under the veggies. The curry sauce was bland and not good and the veggies in both dishes were sort of flavorless and just tasted like sesame oil. Maybe the meat is better?
