We contacted Patryk after seeing his truck in the neighborhood, and he communicated very nicely. He came over, popped up on the roof for an inspection, and saw that the siding needed replacing. He pointed out that the other stuff quoted by the previous company wasn't necessary. Honesty is what we got here with Always Quality Construction. As for the work, it was perfection. He got a great color match, the work looks fantastic, and everything was clean when he left. I have more projects planned and will continue to work with them. That level of customer service really stood out. They replaced three original basement windows, installed four custom polycarbonate window well covers, cleaned the wells, added fresh gravel, checked the drains, and resealed the existing galvanized wells. What I appreciated most was their honesty. Instead of trying to sell me new window wells, they recommended keeping my existing ones since they were still in good shape, especially with future basement renovation plans. I had a little bit of sticker shock from the first quote so decided this would be worth getting multiple quotes on. And Home Build was one of them due to their stellar Yelp reviews. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.
