Very good food in a sports bar environment. It was nice to watch the U of A basketball game during dinner. The server was attentive and wanted to make sure everyone had the food correctly as ordered. Be aware that the nacho fries use potato wedges as that was unexpected from our group. The flautas were fantastic!

This was our first time dining here. The wait to be seated was lengthy and the waitress who seated us seemed preoccupied. Once seated it took about 20 minutes to place our order. It appeared that they were short staffed. One we order, it sometime before we were served. The food was pretty good. The decor was eye pleasing. I felt we spent to much time waiting on seating, ordering our drinks/food. Overall, it was an ok experience. Would we come here again - not likely.

Service was excellent very friendly and brought us everything we needed. Food was a bit bland and one noted and you didn't get much for the price. Chips were good salsas were ok a bit spicy but I like it that way. Sopapillas weren't so tasty but green sauce was good and not salty needed beans and more of everything inside the sopapillas. We might come back to bring our sons. Try something else.

I was waited on as soon as I walked through the doors; it was so colorful inside. A lot more room than I expected inside. I can not handle spicy, I need mild. First dish I ordered was too spicy to eat and waiter gladly suggested I replaced so I decided on a taco. It was filling.

Came here on a weeknight around 6:30. Wasn't too busy. Has a sports bar type vibe is large and very open which I liked. The server was good and asked us if we had been here before which we hadn't. She brought out the different sauces to try with chips which was nice. Sauces were good but reds were spicy. Highly recommend tasting the sauces first if you don't like spice. Queso fundido was excellent and the tortillas were homemade. All of our dinners were excellent and definitely a place to add on our list when we are down here. Some people complain about service in other reviews and I can sense that if they get busy. Sauces are a bit hot so I would recommend tasting before ordering as it seems some folks that are posting don't like heat. I enjoyed them all.

Red chile with pork and small combination platter (shredded beef taco, cheese enchilada, and chile rellano) both with refried beans.

First time at this place and will add it to our list when we are in the area. The food was fantastic. We had the red chile with pork and the small combination platter (a shredded beef taco, chile rellano, and cheese enchilada). The pork was very tender and the red chile was flavorful and spicy. The taco had a great crunch with tender beef and the right amount of fixings on top. The enchilada was delicious and cheesy with a red chile beef sauce that had the right amount of heat. The rellano was tender, stuffed with cheese, and had a crispy coating. Too many times, rellanos have a lot of batter and you can't find the pepper. This was not the case here so the taste of the pepper shown through. We were also pleasantly surprised how great the refried beans were. Usually, they are just relegated as an accompaniment but these were wonderful. Not too thick, not too thin, not too smooth, and with a hint of smoke. Best we've ever had. The place was busy but we were served drinks and salsa and chips soon after seated. The staff is friendly and checked on us often. We appreciated our server bringing a sampling of sauces to try and it was helpful in deciding how spicy we wanted to go. That was pretty unique. If you find yourself in the area and hungry for delicious New Mexico food, this is your place to go.

Possibly could nitpick over speed of service but it was a busy Friday evening...great flavors and great heat. Love this place.

When I got to the counter, I was friendly and simply said, "Hi! I ordered carne asada fries, but I accidentally received nachos." Instead of checking the order or apologizing for the mistake, the employee immediately rolled her eyes and insisted that I had ordered nachos. I calmly explained that I had asked for fries and that she had even repeated "fries" back to me when taking my order. Rather than listening, she continued arguing with me and told me she would change it "this one time," as if she were doing me a favor instead of correcting an incorrect order. She took the bag without checking anything and walked away, continuing to give me dirty looks throughout the interaction. I've worked in food service myself, so I understand that mistakes happen. Orders get mixed up, and that's part of the job. What isn't acceptable is treating a polite customer with hostility, arguing instead of trying to resolve the issue, and making them feel like they're at fault for asking to receive the meal they actually ordered. The incorrect order wasn't what upset me the most, it was the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic courtesy. I hope management addresses this with the employee who was working the front counter during my visit, because no customer should be treated this way over a simple order correction.

They have a homemade spicy and mild salsa available, so everyone can be happy. The vegetarian fajitas were a standout. Lots of fresh veggies cooked perfectly with great spices and not too oily. Tortillas are homemade. Came with rice, beans, sour cream, pico, and guacamole. Guacamole was basic and fresh but not a standout. The carne asada was a bit well done. Might want to order this one medium rare to keep it a bit moister. Serving was large enough to make a lunch the next day. Fish tacos were catfish and were not a hit with the person who ordered. Plain without a lot of flavor. Wouldn't order this one again. Sopapillas were a plate of four small with ice cream. They were a bit dense. Would like to see a fluffier larger sopapilla with fewer on the plate. The vanilla ice cream was delicious and a surprise. Prices are very fair and all the workers were busy keeping the place clean and the patrons happy. It was modestly busy. We are not local but visit each year when seeing family. We will be back.

The chips were stale, and the salsa was one of the worst I've had. It was an odd pale grayish-pink color and lacked the fresh flavor you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. The menu itself was surprising. For a restaurant advertising itself as Mexican, there were very few actual Mexican entrées to choose from. Instead, the menu was filled with things like hamburgers, hot dogs, wings, and seafood boils, which felt very out of place. Our table ordered a variety of different meals, and not a single person was impressed. My chicken was dry, rubbery, and chewy, and I couldn't even finish my meal because it was so unappetizing. It felt like a complete waste of money. Unfortunately, the poor food quality, questionable cleanliness, and lack of authentic Mexican options mean we won't be returning. We were warned by some locals to go elsewhere, we should've listened. Our waitress was nice though...
