I proposed a simple plan -- half pavers and half turf with a sitting wall, using a herringbone pattern. Jose made recommendations on materials and overall design to make the space more appealing -- like curving the paver/turf border. The project spanned 7 days (estimated as 8). The crew of 4 showed up promptly at 7:30 every morning until 3pm -- Jose (the owner/lead) was here most of the time to make sure work was being done right and went above and beyond to help fix and reroute some irrigation. They cleaned up the site before leaving, and the neighbors commented on how respectful they were with not making too much noise or making a mess. 2 of the 3 guys on his crew had worked on my previous project seven years ago, which speaks volumes to how Jose is running a good operation and treats his team well. Victor and his team really came to the rescue in our driveway project. We wanted to widen our…read moredriveway but there is a gas line and massive tree roots in the area that needed to be excavated. Due to the difficulty and risk involved for excavation, it was hard to find a contractor to take on the job but from my initial consult with Victor, him and his team noted their experience with these scenarios and he was confident they can do it in less than a day. On excavation day they brought the necessary equipment and tools and were very cautious about the gas pipe. They ended up finishing the job in less than a half day! To follow up, we realized we needed more excavation at the apron of the driveway and Victor again came to the rescue and excavated that for us a week later. I sincerely appreciate the time efficiency and skill that Victor and his team have in getting our excavation needs completed. We had a great experience NAB Construction! Our pickleball court had broken concrete on one end,…read moreand was too short on the other. NAB removed all the bad concrete and replaced it with pavers, and on the other side of the court, they added 5 feet of concrete where we had lawn, as well as adding to our existing retaining wall. After the pavers were installed, I noticed something not to my preference with the paver layout. I contacted Nick, our site manager from NAB, and he was very responsive, and arranged for Nate (the company president) to come out right away and discuss the matter, which was resolved that same day to my complete satisfaction. Nick also was happy to arrange for a few other small tasks related to bricks and concrete on our property to be taken care of, and they were - at no added cost. NAB construction was not the lowest bid we got for this work, but I have learned the hard way that going with the lowest price is not always a great idea, and I am glad I went with NAB for this project. I'm very satisfied with the results of this project, and would not hesitate to recommend NAB construction to others.

He was very unprofessional and used the terms "outside the scope of work" and asked us to make a "commitment" several times. I went to Brickyard on a Saturday at 8AM per the direction of Nick but when I called him about our selection he never called me back. He blamed us and said they lost money on the job because it took longer than expected. He tried to convince me to use a brick I did not like. And the biggest disappointment was the drainage that they left unfinished. We spent almost $10k but we feel like the job is incomplete. Wish we could recommend them but if they continue working with Nick Vard you should stay away.
