It is the middle of summer, the temperature is over 100 degrees. We had not had any recent storms or winds here in Southlake, Texas. Kelly Thompson was just going around doing his job on this very hot day, looking to find roofs that may need work, but the owners were not even aware that their roofs needed work. Kelly stopped by my door and told me that, from the streets, he could see that my roof may have some damage that may need to be looked at. He politely and professionally asked me if he could go on the roof and check it out for me. I was skeptical at first and did not let him go on the roof at that time. At the end of his rounds in the neighborhood, he stopped by again. This time I let him and his work mate, Tim Spicer, go to the roof and inspect it for any damage. They did find out that there were some damage that required that the roof be replaced. While inspecting the roof, they took pictures of the damage on the roof. They explained to me the kind of damage and why it should be fixed. They helped me with filing a claim with my insurance right at my kitchen table. The insurance adjuster came out to do an inspection and confirmed that the roof does need to be replaced. I had some questions and concerns for GP Construction. Kelly and Tim were able to answer most of my questions very honestly and professionally. Robert, Kelly's boss, was able to answer the questions that Kelly and Tim were not able to answer for me. Robert was very easy to talk to, sincere and professional. He listened to my concerns and after answering all my questions and addressing my concerns, we decided to have GP Construction install our new roof. The crew working on the roof came in early. They placed tarp all around the house so that the material they removed from the roof and any nails fell onto the tarp. When they were done, they cleaned up everything. The new roof looks beautiful. They did a fantastic job and we are very happy with the work GP Construction did. Kelly, Tim and Robert were very easy to talk to and they treated me, the customer, with great respect. GP Construction was professional and top-notch. I reluctantly opened a knock on my front door to speak with their sales person who was in my neighborhood soliciting. I rarely do so, and when I do I usually turn the salesperson away, but this young man (Kyle Mears) was courteous, professional and I listened to what he had to say. Based on my trust in him, I agreed to let GP give me an estimate for a roof replacement. Although initially rebuffed by my insurance company, Kyle assured me that my roof was damaged and should qualify for replacement, so we stayed the course, requested a second inspection, and were ultimately successful in obtaining the repairs. Throughout the process I was in touch with several project managers (Jon Estrada and Brian Manjarrez) the GP Finance Team (Alisha Johnson), and my personal Project Coordinator (Shae Coon). All of those individuals were courteous, helpful, and always professional. Most large construction projects will have a hitch or two along the way and mine was no different. GP Construction, and specifically Mike Walker, stood out among the many roofing companies that came by. Mike took a genuine interest in helping me assess what needed to be done with my roof. He spent the better part of a day conducting an incredibly thorough initial inspection and then guided me through every step of the process. He met with the insurance adjusters, explained each stage clearly, and ensured all questions were answered. He personally oversaw my claim from start to finish, even returning after the job was completed to inspect the work. He found a few minor issues, made sure they were addressed, and went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect. GP construction replaces my roof several months ago. My insurance company refused my claim on two different occasions. GP gave me some advice on how to handle this situation. My denied claim was paid within a week after l contacted the insurance company. GP did a excellent job replacing my roof and they were finished within 2 days. I have a tankless water heater and after they left it was not putting out any hot water. I called my plumber and they said l had fragments of junk in my heater. They said l needed a new heater. I called GP and they sent someone out to inspect the unit. Come to find out when the roof was installed, they didn't realize the heater was tankless and they put on the wrong roof vent. They paid over 5,600 for me to get a new heater with no questions asked. Very satisfied with everything from start to finish, and the follow up since. GP Construction, Grapevine, TX, recently replaced the hail-damaged roof on both our two-story house and detached garage. All of their employees were very professional and attentive to our needs. John Vilbig was prompt and thorough in providing an inspection of the damages, and Madison Abbott did a wonderful job as project coordinator. While waiting for the insurance claim to be processed, our roof was leaking due to the heavy rains we received in October, and GP Construction sent out two project managers (in the rain) to successfully patch the roof and prevent interior damage. The actual job, estimated at 1-2 days, was completed in less than a day. The crew arrived at 6:20 am and were finished, including clean-up, by 3:05 pm. Christian Leggett made getting a new roof after a recent hail storm a breeze. They handled all the hassle that usually goes with contacting the insurance company, getting an appraisal, getting the city permits etc. After they took care of those chores, we picked a day that was convenient to us to have the roof replaced. They made sure all our landscaping items were protected while the removed the old roof. They also provided a supervisor to make sure all items were taking care of in a timely matter and who kept us advised of the progress. Their clean up of debris was outstanding. Just had our roof replaced last week by GP Construction. I had a great experience with them. Their crew showed up on time at 6:30AM and finished at 9:00 PM the same day with temperatures above 100 degrees! They left the job site nice and clean. They did a great job protecting our numerous plants, flowers and furniture. We enjoyed working with their staff Shae, Eddie, Eric, and Robbie. They were friendly and professional and did a great job of keeping us informed throughout the process and working with our insurance company. The whole process was very smooth and seamless. They used quality materials and the enhanced ridge line they use gives the a house a classy upgraded look as well as helps better protect from hail. One of GP Construction's Reps came to my house and asked if I have had my roof inspected recently. I hadn't had an inspection in some time so I let them late a look. They were very thorough with their inspection and let me know I had hail damage not only to my roof but my window screens, gutters and all over my fence. After talking over the next steps, we called my insurance company together which I liked because I don't really enjoy talking to my insurance company. My insurance adjuster agreed with everything I was told and now here I am with a brand new roof, brand new window screens and a beautiful stained fence. We were very impressed with our experience with GP Construction. Our coordinator (Candice) kept us up to date on the insurance process. Our onsite representative (Valerie) was out in the field making sure all went well and on time. Our follow up inspector (Gary) came out after the completed job and walked the home with me to make sure I was happy and answered all of my questions. New roof, gutters and screens all were installed professionally and on time per GP Construction's timeline. Pergola was sanded and restrained and looks new. I was especially happy with the clean up. GREAT company to work with. Very flexible with the timing that was convienient for us. Joseph Miller & Rusty Peck really helped with getting any residual damage that also had hail damage and Allstate responded to the excellent detail they were provided by GP. We needed a follow - up visit from our adustutor and they were there both times. Also, Brian, the project mananger was prompt to answer questions and provide last minute help and clean up. Even 2 weeks later, someone returned to paint and fix flashing, etc that we saw after the fact. Tim and his staff have been wonderful to work with. After multiple hail storms we had roof, siding, gutter and other damage to our home. Tim and the GP guys worked directly with my insurance company and made sure that all of my damages (some that I didn't even notice) got covered. When my insurance was slow to respond to some requests GP stayed on them and kept me up to date along the process via email, text and phone. All of the GP staff was friendly and professional. We were hammered with door knocks and calls when the storms moved thru and I am glad that one of my friends referred me to GP. Wow, what to say! I am in the process of seeing if my roof gets replaced but up to now, Kurtis Clement and Tim Spicer have been amazing. I did not realize we had damage to our roof but GP was in the neighborhood and came by. We let them take a look and they found a lot of hail damage we didn't know about. They handled everything with the insurance company and made it extremely easy to get everything approved and underway. They even helped with the homeowner's association. We're busy, are raising kids, and GP's do it for me approach made it all happen without the hassles and worry that sometimes come with contractor work. We contracted GP Construction to replace our roof after some hail damage from this spring. Christian Leggett came to our home, evaluated our roof and then got to work. Someone from the GP Office called us regularly to make sure everything was on track. They are a very professional organization. We were so pleased with them that we want to use them to roof a new home we are building. Christian stopped by daily, sometimes more than once to make sure we were pleased with the work. GP Construction replaced our roof in September 2019 and we were very pleased with Jordan our sales rep, as well as the Construction crew! Jordan was quick to respond anytime that we had any questions or concerns and made sure that even the smallest of imperfections were taken care of. The lead Construction foreman on the Job, Juan even repaired my AC when I mentioned to him that it had gone out during construction! Durning construction they were careful not to damage any bushes as past contractors had done and the clean up was much better than previous companies. I am a local Realtor and met Chris at GP when I needed my own roof replaced. Chris filed the claim and followed it through with my insurance carrier to get the job started and made sure it was completed. He brought me swatches so I could pick my shingle and gutter colors. The crew arrived early and didn't leave until the job was done. The Gutter crew was there the next day to finish their part too. I was worried about possible nails that may have dropped in the yard during the process. They 'swept' the yard with magnetic rakes and found the loose nails. The roof and gutters look great!
