I…read moreoriginally came because I've had several injuries from my life in Jiu Jitsu and am in near constant pain, albeit, some quite dull at times. But after I filled out my chart of pain, Steve took the time to explain the process and do quite a bit of work on my top most painful areas. It was a little uncomfortable, not like a massage really, but definitely not like the physical therapy I've had before. However, I was not expecting much. Alas, the next day I was pain free to a surprising degree. I hadn't been pain free in these specific areas in years. I saw him again the next week and he worked on my next issues. And then... I felt like a brand new person. It was like I was in my 20 year old body again. Which is crazy because I'm nearing 40 quickly, and I still train Jiu Jitsu. But the physical work he does actually pales in comparison to his real work. Let me explain. Upon meeting this man, you immediately realize what a gentle and caring spirit he has. But not only that, he has a light spirit. I feel a sense of relief emotionally when his hands are on me. He encourages me to voice my emotion in connection with my pain, to work through the pain with breathing, memory, description, release, etc. One injury in particular was due to some domestic violence and he talked me through the pain and had me voice what was inside, describe what happened, why it hurt (emotionally) etc. I cannot even do his work justice with these frivolous words. And then you get to a point where it's not physical therapy, it's mental, spiritual, and physical therapy. His encouragement to connect to the pain so that healing doesn't just happen in the body but in the mind as well is extraordinary. Now, like I said, I've only seen him 3 times. But my body feels younger, my mind and spirit are lighter, and I can't wait to continue working with him on my healing journey. If you are looking for some detached physical therapy this is not for you. This is serious, get to the root of the healing therapy and it WORKS. Steve is a master at his craft. I encourage you to book a session today because EVERYONE should experience this. Even those with the most minor pain! You won't regret this epic experience.

I had just returned home from…read morehaving a facelift, neck lift, brow lift and blepharoplasty so I was still very swollen, stiff and lumpy from cosmetic surgery. It took some research as this service is not abundantly available by qualified providers. I found Revive Therapy and got an immediate reply from Steve Metzger and he was able to fit me in his schedule and get me on a weekly cadence of visits. Steve has a ton of medical experience and training and was able to make a huge difference for me during my healing process. He helped both the physical healing as well as the emotional reassurances that I was progressing very normally. Cosmetic surgery can be a scary thing especially when it's on your face, so having another support system beyond your surgeon telling you that everything looks great and knowing how to speed the recovery through massage was so reassuring. But I do want to acknowledge his message and the sincerity behind it. I've always had positive experiences with him and his team, and I will truly miss this office and the care I received. The bigger issue here is the system itself. Our health insurance landscape has become so chaotic and unpredictable that both patients and providers end up caught in the crossfire. It puts everyone in impossible positions, and this was one of those moments where the system failed all of us.
