Clearly not the typical patient in this environment. A review on my services received is of a different level. This is not that. Got to watch staff treating others. As a 1st timer at rehab...Despite decades hearing only negative opinions of these type facilities and staff, I was very pleasantly surprised. Facility was clean, and secure. Only saw pieces of what was available for enrichment. I always wish for more wherever I go. All the hands-on employees were very kind, caring, and busy with to-from patient residents or check-in visits. Despite having just arrived, well into shift, or handing off shift duties to go, all resident patient interactions showed interest, and responsiveness. They do what they can, with good bedside manner. Noted and appreciated friendly first name basis being used equally back and forth. On behalf of the more reliant patient/residents, I give 4of5.

Our mom had fallen and broken her hip and needed a place for to go till she was able to be on her own again and they took such great care of our mom! Missy even came in on her day off to get our mom all settled! The nurses are terrific! Everyone is so kind! I would highly recommend this place as your home away from home! They treat you like a member of their own family! A+++++++++++++++

They went out of their way to give her activities to keep her active and give her a purpose to live again. She actually started to thrive and gain more of her spunky personality back. I love how approachable the managers are and how they answered any questions we had. They were willing to help work with us to make our grandmother happy and feel like this is her home away from home. Change is hard on the elderly. This place actually is one of the few places willing to work with not only the patient but the family as well. Thank you Prestige Pines for making our grandmother feel welcome and making us feel like we made the best decision for our entire family.

I was fortunate…read moreenough to place Mom there for the last chapter of her life.I immediately felt comfortable in the home-like setting that they have created for the Moms. It is a place for Moms run by an amazing woman manager... Kelley . The staff is all women and some of the most caring and compassionate women I have ever met. They not only gave Mom great care..and saw to it that she had everything that she needed, and wanted, but they were there for me as well. To say they went above and beyond in both Mom's and my care is an understatement. I literally could not have gone through that final journey if it weren't for them. From the first day that I went there to scout the place.. to today, they have been with me every step. Including attending her Celebration of Life in October and sending me a Christmas card on my first Christmas without her. They were my saving Grace!! Mom passed peacefully in their care in August. I'm so glad that I chose them to care for her, so that I could be her daughter, and not her caregiver for those final months.I can't possibly list all the reasons that I recommend this AMAZING place. My many heartfelt thanks to Kelley, the ladies that cared for Mom and to Shannon. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring for the Moms, including mine. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I would give Clinton Commons zero stars if I could…read more 1. Sidewalks are not promptly or properly maintained in the wintertime. My 90-year-old father fell down on one of the sidewalks. When he justifiably complained to the manager, identified as S. Strahle on the company's website (clintoncommons.com), that the sidewalks were not being suitably cleared, she replied "that's not our top priority." Really? Properly clearing sidewalks should be a top priority at a facility where walkers, wheelchairs, and scooters are used. 2. Apparently my father was not the only resident to voice concerns and complaints, because a while back all the residents received a notice stating they should stop complaining! 3. The facility's website states under "Activities and Events" that it provides free transportation to doctor's appointments. That is not true. 4. Meals are available to residents for a charge - $14 per dinner at the time of this review. Unfortunately residents sometimes miss dinner because the facility has a habit of loaning out its dining room. As a result, residents (some with poor memories) have to keep track of the time change or miss their dinner. Because Clinton Commons bills itself as a "luxury senior retirement community," its focus should be on meeting the needs of its seniors, not outside groups. 5. If the above examples are not enough reasons to stay clear of this place, consider this: When your loved ones move out they are told not to return to visit their friends! How insensitive. Recently my father did return to visit a friend. The very next day Ms. S. Strahle phoned him to say that he was seen at the facility, and if he was seen there again she would call the police! My parents never missed a rent payment, their security deposit was returned in full when they moved out (so obviously the apartment was left in good condition), and they also received good references for their next apartment. Why then, would an office manager treat her past residents so poorly? My guess is that she does not want former residents spreading the word to current residents about better senior living options. This place has so much potential if it was better managed.
