We find Dr. Dacanay's office thru Yelp and I'm glad we found her. Dr. Grace explained everything during the examination. My husband chose a progressive lens for his frame. However, when he tried using it for a day, he felt dizzy. So I guess this is not the best lens for him. So he called the office to let them know the situation and the staff gladly let him return the lens for replacement of single vision instead without extra charge. The office and its staff followed the covid protocol which we felt safe during the visit. I highly recommend Dr. Dacanay's when looking for a great optometrist nearby. read more

I recently saw Dr. Grace for my annual exam. This is my third year of coming to her (I think) and honestly I'm so happy my sister recommended her! My entire family sees her now and we couldn't be more happy that we found an Optometrist that makes us feel welcome and is so sweet! I've had horrible eyesight practically my entire life. I wear glasses and contacts. I work long hours and Dr. Grace suggests the best brands that accommodate my eyesight! I've been happy with every brand she's recommended. She also has trials for you to sample before committing to a brand because let's face it, contacts can be pricey. With Covid precautions, I felt comfortable during my appointment and all staff (including myself) kept our masks on. I went to Dr. Grace Dacanay's office a few weeks ago. This was my first time seeing an optometrist since I was a child. Never had issues with my vision until about a year ago. Started to notice changes in my vision. Dr. Grace was great, very patient and took the time to figure out the perfect prescription for me. After getting new insurance coverage with my company my old optometrist no longer accepted my coverage. This led me to find a new provider in network. After reading several Yelp reviews about Dr. Grace Dacanay I was hopeful that I made the right choice in selecting her to be my new optometrist. Let me tell you I was not disappointed! In fact my expectations were exceeded and my experience was extremely enjoyable and seamless. Dr. Dacanay is very nice and helpful while explaining everything that she is doing during your exam. She broke down every aspect of getting new contact lenses for me and helped me understand which would fit best for my eyes. She is amazing and her staff is amazing too! Dr. Grace Dacanay is an AMAZING optometrist. She takes time to really examine each patient and one of the things I appreciate the most is that she is extremely nice. Some doctors have an attitude when you bring up a concern, but she is there to listen and give you her professional opinion. She also explains everything very well. Dr. Grace is the best.. She's so sweet and thoughtful. My son went in last week for the first time and he was wearing avenger shoes, she asked him who his favorite was? He said Iron man. He had to go back today to get his dilated so she can see what prescription he is going to need for his glasses. It took us awhile to get the drops in his eye but she was so nice about it and said she understood cause her son was around the same age. When he was done, she told him she has a cool surprise for him and came back with an iron man toy for him. I thought that was so sweet of her to remember who he liked and for her to remember her patients. I love how she explains what she is doing and why. I am extremely satisfied why her service. I scheduled my daughter and appt with her tomorrow and will probably schedule myself an appt with her after that. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an eye doctor. read more

I've been on a search for a great eye doctor . Most of the places I've been they have always been in a rush and don't seem to care to explain much they mainly want you in and out . Dr. Grace is extremely kind and has a very outgoing personality she took her time during the exam . Went over any questions I had or explained any of the concerns there may have been. I was due for my annual eye exam but had moved pretty far from my previous Optometrist's office. I decided to turn to Yelp to find a local provider. Came across Dr. Dacanay's office and decided to give it a shot. Dr. Grace has a great little office. Decent choices to pick out from as far as frames are concerned; her location is clean and neatly arranged. Receptionist was very nice and kind. We had to make adjustment to our appointment due to Covid but that was to be expected. If first impressions make the best impressions, Dr. Grace is about as nice and kind you can imagine for an optometrist. She was very thorough, explained every bit of the procedures, was friendly and personable. Any questions I had were promptly addressed. I very much enjoyed my first visit to her office and can not wait to pick up my new set of glasses in 7-10 business days. I used to only frequent large, well established, fancy looking offices but seldom received a level of care and attention that Dr. Grace and her staff provided. We recently changed insurance and were referred to this office by our insurance provider. The doctor is super nice answers all your questions. Office staff is super friendly my daughter made an appointment for same day and they fit her in even though they were all ready closing. I went in with my husband this Saturday with no appointment and they fitted us for new sunglasses and even worked on answering my oldest daughter questions over face time since she is currently out of state. Called before I made my appointment and asked them to make sure that they will take my health insurance. "Sure", they told me that they do. I took a afternoon off to go in to have my eye check. When I got there, NOW she tells me that that do not except my insurance... Just too bad that some people are so incompetent on their job.
