Such a nice place. They take VSP insurance thankfully. The exam I received was truly comprehensive, the exam had depth vision testing and colorblind testing. Teleretinal screening was also worth $39 for diabetic retinopathy testing. Everyone here is super friendly and the eye doctor took her time helping me with my contact lens exam and actually took her time in testing my eyes and explaining the teleretinal screening results. I also appreciate how they have a patient portal where you can access your prescription. It was very easy and convenient, and the contact lens prices are about $15-20 less expensive per box than VSP's in network website. Overall great experience! read more

I had another great visit to Eyedeal, where Dr. Hung helped me out this time. Turns out I have an excellent bill of eye health, with no changes to my prescription. This is a shocker because my alcohol intake is really high...if anything, my eye exam was actually better this time than two years ago, which makes sense since my drinking has decreased. I feel how Keith Richards must feel when he's told he has another few years to go despite having lived outrageously with a lot of heavy mileage on that chassis. Anyway, I ordered a new pair of Tom Ford glasses, and my current pair will be my backup. I get compliments on these frames regularly, and I wouldn't have found them had I not gone to Eyedeal. Been coming here for the past few years and have always enjoyed my experience. I'm glad to have super-local optometrist that I feel comfortable with and trust with my eyes. I only have two of them, and I value them very much...and it seems like they also value them, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. :) They have a small table and activities for my girls to entertain themselves with when I have to bring them in with me for my appointments. We recently had to bring the little one to get her eyes check and they were incredibly thorough and did everything to make her feel comfortable, as it was her first full eye exam and appointment to get a prescription for her vision. Parking - very open; it's in the lot with SF market and China Blossom by CVS, so never have issues there. Service - Dr. Alturas and her staff are excellent. Very thorough and friendly. I had an evening appointment and traffic was heavier than usual. I called to let them know that according to my phone, I was going to be 11 minutes late. I was told they had a 10 minute grace period and therefore I would have to reschedule. Of course traffic cleared up and I would have arrived on time but like I told the young lady on the phone, I would no longer be going there. The issue is, it's ok if they're late and we wait as patients, but not when we are running late? I had been going there for years and am normally on time. Their customer service was not acceptable to me and my family and I will be looking for a new optometrist. read more

I needed to see an optometrist same day due to a possible eye infection. Luckily this place had an opening and I am so lucky I went there. When I got there the service was quick and kind. I got to see Dr. B. She was amazing! She found I had a corneal abrasion on my eye which was the cause of my pain. She took her time and gave me detailed recommendations for treating my eye injury. I am so thankful for the amazing service I received here. I definitely plan to switch my eye care here. Additionally a great advantage is that they are open Saturdays for people that have a difficult time taking a day off work during the week. read more

I have been to 3 or 4 (or more) Optometries in the past, and this Optometry is by far my favorite one. They are so good at what they do, I don't even mind driving all the way from Riverside County for the service and care I receive here. Of all the doctors I've gone to for my eyes since I was in 3rd grade, Dr. B is the best there is. She was super cool, nice and accommodating. With her I never felt like a question about my eye health was a dumb question to ask. (Usually I get anxious when I visit any doctor, but I don't get anxious here.) Great place to get prescription sunglasses in west covina. I purchased the Oakley sunglases

So glad the place I originally planned to go to is closed on Monday's because it lead me to this optometry. They were able to take my dad and I as walk ins on a Monday morning and we were able to get checked right away. Upon walking in, I already knew it was a big upgrade from my previous optometrist with their layout alone. We were greeted with smiles by the two ladies up front and they were able to assist us with filling out forms and answered any questions we had. My dad was seen before me and met with Mrs. Olave Lee. We both agreed how much of an upgrade this place was from our last as well as how much we appreciated Dr. Lee's thoroughness and clarity when describing what she was doing during her assessment. I understood clearly what she was doing as well as why she was doing it. During my assessment she did a lot of things my old eye doctor didn't do so it was an eye opener to see that this is what should have been done and that my family settled for less! Nonetheless she was very open to any questions and repeated to always give her a call with any questions or concerns we had.
