She was very knowledgeable and patient with me as we worked to find the most optimal brand of contacts for my daily computer work. Dr Lo saved me! Super caring and nice Dr. I had major eye allergies for two weeks and my eyes won't stop itching and I felt sharp foreign material scratching my eyes and it was very painful and on top of that my lash line was super itchy. Dr. Lo checked my eyes and recommended some drops and things I can do to help my allergies and prescribe the steroid drops that I really need. My first experience a few years ago was great. Everyome was nice and helpful. It was clean and very focused on covid. I bought three pairs. I went back a week ago to get a new pair. It was still clean and people were mostly nice. I was trying to buy new glasses and lenses. But.... It was not a great experience and they do not have my business anymore. The gist is, 4 employees, 3 Customers (one in the back with the doctor, two at the front and one at a special desk with a dog that might be the owner and doesn't do anything unless she absolutely has to). My insurance was ran, my prescription was loaded and I was ignored for half an hour. Just standing there.... No one says anything..... They're chatting about nonsense and they probably didn't even realize I left. Anyway, I also left because the store is like 90% feminine styled glasses now and the men's just didn't look good. I found another place that is closer and better now. But I really loved my first experience so I can't give it less than 4 stars but I won't ever return read more

Found them through Yelp so took my daughter to get her first eye exam since she's been deliberately blinking her eyes too much while reading or focusing on something. The office was nice and clean, with optical shop in the front, and lab/dr's office in the back. The female optometrist I assume (didn't get her name doh) was very friendly in measuring my daughter's vision and checking her eyes out. Got the diagnosis which was very detailed but didn't require corrective lens yet. The visit was pleasant so I'd definitely come back here for exams and possibly glasses for my daughter when she needs it. read more

He's very attentive to detail when it comes to your vision, takes his time to make sure that you see perfectly and comfortably. Since I've got a quote from Costco, the guy working there told me he could not do anything until Costco remove the hold. Then, I called Costco; they told me the new place just have to call my insurance company to remove the hold instead of driving back then in person. However, the guy helper insisted he couldn't do anything. Here's the thing, the woman sales asked him In Cantonese why he couldn't make the phone call; he relied on Cantonese, stating he didn't have time and he needed to help other people. Dr. Lo and his staff were extremely kind, professional and courteous to all of my children. Kanami and Carol were so helpful with an anxious child of mine. During the pandemic my children had to complete a lot of their homework virtually and they had more than 4 hours of screen time a day. They kept rubbing their eyes and blinking repeatedly so I was concerned of this new habit as it was becoming such a concern that they complained of headaches and eye pressure. Pediatrician said probably allergies or dry eyes from A/C but we saw Dr. Lo. They made an exception and saw him at the end of the day which I'm so appreciative for because rarely have I experienced this much compassion for children from a medical facility. Dr. Alvin Lo provided amazing service. I have not gone to an optometrist for years and my eye was bugging me for two weeks until vision started getting blurry and freaked me out. It was Sunday and luckily Dr Lo still takes appointments on Sundays where most other doctors don't. Dr Lo diagnosed me a bad eye allergy which was causing inflammation and gave me some eye drops for free. I just paid my copay and was out the door. Within using the eye drops I was feeling a lot better. Dr Lo even called me on Monday to followup to see how I was feeling which really showed he cares about his patients. Recently got my eyes checked at OptometRx and I had a wonderful experience here. Friendly staff-- Carol & Cindy are both super helpful and kind. The doctor (Dr. Lo) is very professional. He is very thorough in is exam and explains everything in layman's terms if needed so you understand. He spends time answering your questions and doesn't rush you. He wants you to be comfortable with your choices so provides many options and samples for you to try (I wear contacts). My service today at Optika is what prompted me to create a Yelp account just so that I can do this review. I had an exam for some glasses months ago and service was phenomenal. I wasn't the "smoothest" client due to me being jittery about having the air blown in my eyes, and the optometrist actually got in the chair his self and allowed the air to be blown in HIS eyes just to reassure me! I got some nice name brand designer glasses that I didn't even expect them to have! They also helped me out with some other things outside of service. They are a 5/5. A 10/10.
