    Single Pancakes

We came here for a quick lunch before continuing on with our day. We were seated immediately. They had homemade vegetable soup. It was a tomato base and it was delicious and piping hot. The pancake was good. Not the best, but it was good. I also had the grilled cheese with fries. The bread was crunchy and soft, and perfectly toasted. My sister and mom enjoyed their meals as well. There were no complaints. Pricing was fair and honest. The staff was so kind and they were working hard. It was a little loud as it is wide open for the most part. But, it did not make our visit negative.

The pancakes were delicious! Soooo good! The perfect amount of sweetness & the portion sizes were huge. I'm giving it a 4 rather than a 5, as I found their french toast to be underwhelming. The bread was not the best quality, but maybe it had just been a bad batch. I got the french toast to go, but next time I would opt for the pancakes instead. Genuinely don't miss out on their pancakes! Overall it's a lovely location for brunch & there's something to order for everyone.

This is a hidden gem not far from Ursinus. My husband and I came here for my birthday because I adore omelettes and saw they had them on the menu when we were around the Collegeville area. It was definitely a good choice, and we'll be back soon! I ordered the red pepper omelette with goat cheese. It was perfectly cooked with a generous amount of peppers and cheese! The home fries were made perfectly crispy. Though it was a Saturday morning with a good crowd, the staff were attentive and friendly. My coffee was consistently topped off. We were asked if we'd ever been there as if they noticed we weren't regulars! And we were kindly welcomed back. It was a great experience all around with a true atmosphere of a neighborhood cafe. Highly recommend!

Comfortable atmosphere. Loved the huevos rancheros and gluten-free short stack. Will definitely be coming back.

It was enough to share, and as there's a lot of food coming, it's not a bad idea to do so. They were absolutely yummy! Next they served fresh made Afghan bread, made on the premises daily, and a very fresh salad, served family style so we could help ourselves. The bread is interesting. It's not quite a flatbread, not quite a yeast bread. But they were both excellent. By now I was getting full, and we still had our entrées to come! What drew me to this restaurant was its good selection of meatless entrées. I got the Chalaw Banjan. which was a slow-simmered eggplant stew with warm spices. It was served with a plate of Afghan rice, and mixed together this is top-notch Afghan comfort food. The owner said this was her favorite dish, and I see why. My sister got a lamb stew dish called Qurma Chalaw. While she said it was good, she thought mine was also delicious and preferred that one. High praise as she claims to dislike eggplant! There are delicious looking home baked treats for dessert, and they do brunch for one hour daily, except Sundays. That's a little strange for brunch. We were completely stuffed after the meal, so no room for dessert. Another time!

While unsuspecting from Germantown Pike, this winery/vineyard has an expansive space for events and regular traffic. There is an inviting porch area that overlooks the vines and on the weekends there is live music. There is also an indoor space to hide from the elements or just lay low which is what we had opted for. Everyone we encountered who worked here was so welcoming and pleasant. Both of us got a wine flight making sure to try an assortment of drys, reds, whites, and sweet wines. While I generally lean into sweeter wines, every glass we tasted was enjoyable! We also gave the bubbly flight a try which was also delicious. They do have a full kitchen and we heard raves about the flatbreads and appetizers from the next table over. They even have a calendar of events including workshops, musicians, etc. to stop in and enjoy. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.
