They were nice enough to prepare a table for our group of 16 ppl - not everyone does that! Service was super slow ... which could have been intentional since we were catching up with family ... but took a super long time to order, then a long time to get our drinks then food. It was uncomfortably hot but our waitress was kind enough to turn off the fireplace (gorgeous but HOT) The food was mid at best - really lacked flavor and was honestly pretty boring (menu and execution). If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We went to Turning Point for Mother's Day, 5 adults 2 kids. We placed our name in for call ahead and were waiting for about 20ish minutes to be sat. That was the only good part of this experience. We sat at the table and were greeted in about 10-15 mins. We all got our drinks. The server forgot the creamer for my parent's coffee. We waited 40 mins before asking the hostess for creamer - mind you this is not her job, but was more prompt than the serving staff and management. The server placed our order before 12:30. We started getting suspicious when the surrounding tables received their food before us. We sat and waited for over an hour before we went up to the host and asked how much longer for the food. The manager comes out to us and tells us the "ticket was lost" aka key word for the waitress didn't put the order in. Opportunities for growth at this restaurant (coming from a former server for 10+ years) 1. Managers should ALWAYS be rounding and touching the tables to ensure their guests have a great experience. This didn't happen. 2. Give your server sections close together not all over the restaurant - we saw our waitress in multiple corners of the restaurant, how can she possibly eyeball her tables and make sure her tables get what they want? Expect to not get your food and have terrible service and terrible experience. This was completely ridiculous, a comped meal was not even suggested as a replacement. We walked out of the restaurant hungry, upset, and Mother's Day ruined. read more

As a person who just wants a decent breakfast, I found the meal to be good. The inside of the restaurant is very nice and the staff has always been friendly. The prices can be a little high but you can pay ridiculously high prices for the cafes in the area. If you aren't hyper demanding about breakfast and need to eat at the Ritz Carlton, there's nothing wrong with Turning Point. If you walk in to enjoy a simple breakfast then this restaurant is for you. If you're feeling picky and entitled maybe try somewhere else read more

What a fantastic breakfast and lunch spot. Owned by Mike and Dapeeka, who are just lovely and very friendly. The service is exceptional and the food is so delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals and vowed to come back. Jemiena was assigned to our table and was a gem. They have a private room with tables, and a main dining room. The establishment was clean and very nice. I'm definitely going back and so recommend this wonderful new restaurant . read more

Coffee great, but expensive. Food was good, cooled down quickly. Owner/manager visited some of the tables walked by ours without saying hi, hello nothing. Did the same with a few other tables, appeared that she only talked to individuals she recognized. There are too many other great options in the area for breakfast than to get ignored. read more

Service was non existent had to ask another waitress for the check as our was never around and the place only had a couple of tables. The rancheros had only 3 dime size slice of chorizo. Everything was cold. All the potatoes at the table were cold and plain white barely cooked. The decor is clean and white with shades of gray blue. Very disappointed. read more

We visited Turning Point today. When we entered there were only a few other tables being occupied, it was about 11:30. Service was non existent, the table behind us was never cleared of the food and drinks. Our food took a very long time and when it came it was less than desirable. The omelette was inside out, meaning the vegetables were on top of the eggs, very bizarre. My under cooked bacon came so late that I was done eating the mediocre French toast. No one came to check on us at all during the meal. The food is incredibly over priced and service is awful. I will not be returning to Turning Point and I suggest you don't waste your hard earned money either. read more

We waited 30 minutes, place was packed, when we sat down we waited at least 10 minutes and flagged down a waitress only to find out 1 of the waitresses walked out that morning. Ok, give them some slack, it's okay we were not in a hurry. We were seated after 1:20 and given menu with only breakfast items, 1 page and back page was drinks and no lunch items. We had never been there thought that was it everything they had, did not ask becuase they were hardly able to help us as is they were so busy and we liked the place very clean and bright, was slow but took that with grain of salt people were nice. Food just okay, guess kitchen slammed too, left not too thrilled. I went to look online and saw they have LOTS of lunch items!??!!! WTH??Why didn't they tell us up front they were slow, not serving all items I feel it was a missed opportunity they should have been up front with us when we gave our names before we waited. I went for breakfast during the week and the restaurant was fairly empty but it still took 15 minutes to get a waitress to take my order and 20 more to get it. It arrived cold. I had been looking forward to the Key West omelette but on top of being cold, it was missing key ingredients: cheese , bacon and cilantro. So just tomatoes, shrimp and a small piece of avocado. The runny tomatoes also made the omelet a soggy mess. Worse, the shrimp was very undercooked and in short inedible. The coffee tasted burnt and the toast was forgotten . When I told the waitress all the problems, she just handed me a check-no apology, nothing off the tab! (i didn't pay after a talk with the manager). every aspect was terrible. read more

First time visit was disappointing. Service was slow, but our server kept us informed. We were catching up, so we didn't mind the wait. Our cold pressed juices were delicious. Went for breakfast. Coffee was excellent and the eggs were cooked to perfection, over easy for me and over medium for my wife. HOWEVER, the cubes of potatoes were over-cooked and tasted like they were not cooked today, just warmed up... sort of. The bacon was probably cooked first thing today and then put on the back of the grill to keep warm. It was tough and chewy. (I realize they can't cook it from raw to serving after I place my order, but other restaurants do much better.) The English muffin was NOT TOASTED. It was warmed. There is a difference. The server acted like she would rather have been any place else on Earth. No warmth or display of friendliness. Only a few customers at 9:15. I doubt if they will last a year. Collegeville was overdue for a really good brunch spot and this place is definitely the "turning point" pun intended!! 1st let me start with the pleasant staff EVERYONE was great particularly or waitresses Kayla and Mia (very attentive and kind). We had the Shrimp and Grits that came with an amazing piece of honey cornbread..OMG!! Melt I'm your mouth good, the flavors complimented each other so well, you absolutely MUST try I promise you WILL return. The lemon blueberry pancakes Oh MY!! The atmosphere is so welcoming you can't help buy sit and chat because you forget where you are your soo comfortable The owner was present and making sure each experience was the BEST possible which I personally appreciated after looking at the room they have available for special events.
