I rarely need to use a tailor but decided to utilize Graceful for some much needed alterations I needed on a bridesmaid dress. I choose graceful over the tailor right near me due to the positive reviews specifically for fancy dresses. I was able to text Michelle, the head tailor, and make an appointment with her- it was great. No language barrier and quick responses :) Upon arriving I put on the dress in the tiny little dressing area they have and Michelle got straight to work! I told her what I wanted and she was able to do everything. I was extremely pleased with her attention to detail and kind demeanor. Everything was perfect until it came to the cost, I was surprised and taken back by how expensive my alterations cost (full transparency she quoted me $190 to hem (double lined), add a slit, and take in the bust on both sides, as well as steam and press) I was shocked because the dress itself cost $90 shipped to me and I was told it was going to be around 80-100 for the alteration on the phone. She explained that each individual alteration had its own cost and that $80 was the base price, and I wouldn't be able to find a better deal (which not going to lie, I'm not sure of because I didn't look, I knew I would get quality work here and that's what I wanted). I was super bummed because had I known I wouldn't have her do all that work measuring and stuff if I knew it was going to be that much. Moral of this part of the story is ASK before you start the process. HOWEVER, Michelle being the AMAZING person that she is, was able to work with me on the price!!!!! That's right this story has a HAPPY ENDING!!! She said she always gives a first time customer discount so she applied that to me, and after I explained to her my financial situation (my bf and I got laid off in the last couple months and the bride wasn't helping with costs) and she gave me options to lower the price to closer to my budget. Woohoo!!! Thank you Graceful!!! Needless to say, I am SO grateful to her!! Like extremely grateful, she is a fantastic tailor and a fantastic lady. I made a stop at this location on a Friday to inquire about a white dress that needs dry cleaning and was greeted by one of the employees who I was told is in charge of the shop. Omg let me tell you the guy was drunk and couldn't even look at me straight in the face. The smell of alcohol was so strong there was no way to over look his behavior. I left the shop and I'm glad I did because after asking around I've been told by multiple friends who had their clothes damaged or not even cleaned properly. Def not going back. read more

Came here with need for evening gown cleaning and clothing alterations. My order was ready early, the gown was wrinkle free and while I haven't tried on the dresses yet (they needed taking in at the top), I came here due to the rave reviews of other posters and from my experience so far, they definitely lived up to them. I think this place is called King's Cleaners. They did not offer credit card service for a very long time so I stopped going but then they started to so now I go. You can't beat free delivery. Everything comes out very clean and on time. That's really all I care about as far as dry cleaning goes. As for the tailoring, I got a couple of pants hemmed here and the tailor did it perfectly- I am pretty picky about that so I was impressed. read more

Just OK for dry cleaning. Not a good place for alterations. The woman at the register doesn't seem to be very knowledgeable, and asked me to explain simple alteration things to her. That was a lite weird. They advertise alterations in the window. Maybe there is someone else who works there on different days, who knows more about these things. read more
