It's also located inside of an old bank, so we wanted to check this one out. We were seated immediately and received great service. The waitress was new, but already familiar with the menu. She made recommendations and was very attentive. We started with the pretzel and I can't wait for you to see the photo of how huge this thing is! We all three ate some of it, and there was enough for two people left once we were all done. It's massive! For the entree, I had the chicken quesadillas, my husband had the salmon bowl, and my son had the French dip. They were told about the County Line by a local, and they were welcomed with open arms by the owner. She could see how scared my 8 year old nephew was and whisked him away and introduced him to her dog Jake. He was quickly put at ease and after about an hour, the tornado had changed paths and it was safe to leave. I'm really not one to write reviews of places I haven't been, but I was really touched by this story and the kindness of the owner and I feel it's something that should be commended. It took my retiring to finally start dying dining here. It's about a 70 minute ride from Cedar rapids Iowa to this location but we do it over and over and over again. That should tell you something about how good they are. Their service is outstanding. The food is great never had a bad meal. My wife has Alzheimer's and she always enjoys the ride up in the view overlooking the river. I had to ask for tables along the outside to get the best view of the river. It was suggested I might want to make a reservation to be sure I would get one if available. We've eaten various items all over the menu you can't go wrong with anything it's all great.
