I've been here before in my search for a spot with solid asada fries, and this spot is definitely toward the top of that list for LA spots. I was in the mood for a burrito around lunchtime and remembered this place, so I decided to drop by and give their burritos a try. The guy running the truck is very chill and friendly, and the ordering process is quick and easy. A nice chill local spot all in all. I opted for a pastor burrito this time around. It came with two salsas, roja and verde. There wasn't much heat, but they were definitely packed with flavor, and the salsa verde in particular paired very well with the pastor. Everything in the burrito was well prepared and well put together, every bite was a nice mix of flavors and textures. The pastor was delicious and meaty, the rice was nice and fluffy, and the beans had just a bit of bite to them, creating a nice contrast in textures. Overall a very good spot, and the owners of the truck are valuable parts of the community. Definitely swing by to support! read more

Service was friendly. Ordered 2 separate orders and received them quite fast. Frankly I was hoping the food would be better. The fish taco lacked so much flavor. I ordered a battered taco. Because I wanted to give you an honest review,I ate it on the spot. Taco was not crispy, couldn't taste the batter, or the fish. The carnitas were ok. In my opinion, they could have used a little more seasoning. I had a carnitas taco and an order of carnitas nachos. I felt like the carnitas on my nachos were a bit dry. And the cheese on my nachos didn't melt. The nachos were quite small for the price ($12). Ordered a cheeseburger. It does not include fries, those are sold on the side. The cheeseburger was very dry. Not very flavorful and the fries were ok. The Al pastor taco was good. I noticed that our food was not necessarily hot. Again, we ate our food there and in the car. Don't see why it wouldn't be hot if it's fresh. And if I had to pick something good out of this visit, I'd say the tortillas were nice. read more

So these guys rolled down Sunset, and parked their truck in the middle of Pacific Palisades and said, "Ok who wants some tacos?" The palisades said we do.... Gracias Señor is a taco truck but that's just the vehicle. What comes out of this truck are some amazing asada, chicken, pork, and even veggie tacos. Thats just the start, there are burritos, but the cali burrito is king in my opinion, they also do tortes which are delicious burgers, is a little unexpected, but also very tasty. He's always there - parked on the curb six days a week in front of the Ralphs supermarket in the Palisades. Making fresh tortillas and amazing food, he's the taco king. The carnitas taco is the best item on his menu. Moist and full of flavor, you're going to want to order at least two. The fried fish taco is also delicious! You can get it battered/fried or grilled - I recommend getting it battered. The cook is perfect - crunchy on the outside, rich on the inside. But everything here is good. Whether you're getting shrimp, asada, or any of their side items - you will be pleased! Even the chorizo burger is amazing! I don't know if he still serves sliders, but those were the best sliders I have ever had. The guac is incredible and the surf and turf burrito hits every spot. You can't go wrong. I've told everyone to come eat tacos here. And everyone who listened told me they were blown away. My brother, who before I took him here thought he didn't like tacos, loved them here. They simply are the best. I've got my favorite taco spots for specific types of tacos - for quesadillas, for adobada, etc - but Gracias Señor is the best in two areas: the best carnitas taco and the best overall taco. Lately, I'd been finding myself wandering in the Palisades Village. I really like the ambiance and atmosphere. I have tried dining in a couple of upscale restaurants here but I find them a little over my budget. Until one day, I saw this food truck parked along Sunset in front of Ralph's supermarket which is only a few steps away from the village. After checking yelp reviews which showed nearly all five star reviews, I approached it with the rest of other customers. This truck sells usual Mexican food such as taco, burrito, nacho, and quesadilla. They even have burgers and wraps. I had the beer battered fish tacos served on freshly made tortillas topped with shredded veggies and tartar sauce. Fish were lightly battered and fresh, not those kind you find in the freezer section of the grocery. Although deep fried, I'm glad the it wasn't greasy. I actually loved it.
