But the $4 cup of add-on Lobster Bisque tasted more like assorted shellfish trimmings-- not inedible but not amazing either. The vanilla bean vinaigrette on the Summer Berry Salad ($14) was a pleasant surprise hit with my son's partner, but her $12 add-on of Blackened Salmon for it was unmasterfully overcooked for the thinner portion cut. Overall a poorer value for $26 compared with the Seared Salmon plate (a narrower, thicker portion). Elements is probably a better meal choice for the $30-40/person base range of their menu offerings-- and will obviously push higher with alcohol service. My only real complaint is how odd and inconvenient/inconsistent some important aspects of the meal are. Coffee is served in to-go cups even for dine-in orders--so much for refills. Syrup and catsup both come in little single-serve plastic cups; why not put a bottle at the table? And how about putting salt and pepper shakers at the table while you're at it? Still, the pancakes are so good I'm definitely going back. It's a nice little place, all things considered.
