Chicken fried steak, eggs, and hash-browns.

The 50s atmosphere with 50s music was great. Food was good. I wished the toast wasn't so anemic. Next time I'll ask for it to be well toasted. The waitress was attentive and kept us in coffee.

I forgot to take pictures of my food. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs and hash browns. First time eating the chicken fried, it was okay. A bit thin the crust was nice and the sausage gravy wash yummy. Hash brown and eggs were perfect. Our server kept our coffee full. The ambiance bis very casual. It's been awhile since my last visit. But, we will return soon.

The French toast that came with my husbands chicken fried skillet!!

My husband and I went there and had a date night!! They lit a candle and turned down the lights!! We even got a complimentary scone!! We ordered the chicken fried steak skillet and the chicken fried steak dinner both were amazing, and a nacho appetizer! The people there are so friendly and the atmosphere was cozy! I will definitely go back!!

Philly sand and fries. All created fresh. Gracy's Famous Philly.

I do believe this is the BEST restaurant we have here in the valley. I typically have breakfast, which is always amazing, but today, I decided to try a sandwich! This has to be the best Philly I've had in years! I will definitely be recommending this place to my riders. (I do rideshare).

    This is the turkey dinner

Let me start by saying I'm not from Utah. Perhaps I'm used to more flavorful food, but this was a pretty pathetic excuse for a turkey dinner. The mashed potatoes seemed like they were simply potatoes that were mashed. Even the gravy had not much flavor. Pretty disappointing I'm guessing I should've stuck to eggs or burgers which seem to be the specialty here .

Sausage and tomato in an omelette that supposed to have bacon avocado and cheese.

Disgusting service and food. Ordered a bacon avocado omelet. It had end pieces of what looks like sausage, tomatoes, onions and was dry and overcooked. The cashier was so rude. Never returning.

    Pancake breakfast.

About half the tables were full. The cashier greeted us cheerfully and offered help from the menu. From start to finish, he has friendly and attentive. The menu is large, and includes everything from reasonably priced (sub $10) sandwiches and wraps, to salads, burgers, fried sides, desserts, and even keto offerings! We ordered a Cobb salad and a Patty Melt and pickle fries. The pickle fries were the most lackluster. Nothing obviously bad that I can point out, they just weren't very good. My salad was very standard. Again, nothing wrong, just nothing I couldn't make at home out of a bag. My friend did really enjoy her patty melt and curly fries. Also, points for having both Pepsi and Coke options in the fountain! Another note, you won't buss your own table. Leave your food there.

When I am not with her, I have eaten the Yucatán, Hawaiian, Kimchi Burger and the Iconic. All very solid choices. The Morty's burrito is surprisingly good and a great choice for breakfast. One of our favorite things is the shakes and in particular, the German Chocolate Shake. An often over looked thing in Utah is the French fires. You guys don't understand how good you have it and we call them Utah fries. Absolutely delicious with a perfect crispy and texture with amazing flavor. I do prefer the ranch over fry sauce but either way is great. Thanks Morty's!

I ordered a Patty Melt and fries. 10/10, great caramelized onions and good spicy Russian dressing. Fries are good, not the best but certainly not the worst! (We did carry out, so I imagine they'd be better fresh!) My husband ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Burger, and he gave a 7/10. Well seasoned and good meaty cheese, but the peppers and onions weren't grilled quite enough. The chicken nuggets are not good, taste like frozen nuggets you'd make at home. A stark contrast to the great burgers. Weirdly, the soda was horrible. Like the syrup was running low. They need to change that in the machine and/or warn people. I'd be fine with changing my drink selection. The scone fries are a fun sweet to end the meal with. Less sweet than a funnel cake dough (imo) but the raspberry cheesecake dip really helped! Overall, I'll return, but be selective about what I get, and maybe I'll dine-in.

Most recently I ordered the cashew crusted halibut and the composition of the dish was fantastic, every bite was enjoyable and I couldn't help but clean the plate. But my wife's Seared Salmon ($21) was perfectly cooked--still translucent inside--and seemed a far better value of quality for cost than my pasta. My son went for the Red Chimichurri Flank Steak ($28) that was also delicious and prepared really well. But the $4 cup of add-on Lobster Bisque tasted more like assorted shellfish trimmings-- not inedible but not amazing either. The vanilla bean vinaigrette on the Summer Berry Salad ($14) was a pleasant surprise hit with my son's partner, but her $12 add-on of Blackened Salmon for it was unmasterfully overcooked for the thinner portion cut. Overall a poorer value for $26 compared with the Seared Salmon plate (a narrower, thicker portion). Elements is probably a better meal choice for the $30-40/person base range of their menu offerings-- and will obviously push higher with alcohol service. (The $15 Empress gin and Chambord Bartender's Roulette cocktail we ordered was pretty well prepared.) Perhaps even better a destination when the elements of weather suit sitting outside near the river overlook -- would help make up for zero table bread service offered; very odd for a "near fine dining" restaurant and menu. Otherwise on a rainy autumn evening, our tight-quartered, bouncy bistro booth was adequate but not great ambiance. 3.5-4 stars
