The people working at the online orders were very prompt and kept us updated on the status of the order. Display used to be really put together, but it's gone downhill. I just called for a takeout order. Waited on the line for five minutes. Came back on for two minutes. Went back off for five more minutes. This place has become a joke. They need to remodel so it doesn't smell like butt jam in there and they need to accommodate the takeout orders. So disappointed- picked up 4 glutten free rolls this evening for our dinner tomorrow. They were cold, hard and looked like small hickey pucks. The 4 rolls were smashed in a little sack. Take out advice: We took our most recent order to go and by the time we got down the street, all the fries were soggy from the take out containers. Their Veggie burger is soooo yummy! I don't tend to like most vegetarian options at restaurants, so when I find something I like, it's a big deal for me! I had a wonderful lunch here. It's a couple dollars more expensive than your usual fast food place, but it's a fee I'm well willing to pay for real genuine food. The wait was a minute for the food to arrive, but nothing terrible. The staff was friendly and helpful. The honey butter was awesome and everything on my plate was hot when it arrived. We make sure we stop at Juniper every time we are in Logan! My favorite item is the turkey salad croissant. I am always impressed with the freshness and flavor. They have both Pepsi and Coke as well as Iron Port on tap. My ONLY issue is the price. Kids meals are $6.50 for not much food and the amount they charge to make your sandwich a combo is a little much in my opinion. (My sandwich was $5.87 but it jumped to $10.07 for a small handful of fries and a drink.) They were insanely busy but got food out quickly and stayed on top of the tables. read more

The best Gluten-free food in the valley! I love Juniper take out. They have delicious home-style foods and they use quality ingredients and have a competent owner who is heavily involved in the process. I love the Juniper steak and the loaded baked potatoes. But my favorite ? The Deverle's Seasoning. They even have Iron-port on fountain! Wait times are to be expected as food is cooked to order. But it is worth the wait. We went to Juniper Take-out last night to celebrate my son's birthday. We arrived at about 8:10 PM. My food was fine, but at about 8:50 (they close at 9:00), the staff began frantically putting chairs up on the tables around us so they could sweep. They were literally cleaning up around and under us as we ate. They might as well have yelled, "Get out! We want to go home!" As we walked over to refill our drinks, the staff swooped in to put our chairs up on our table. This was prior to 9:00. A 9:00 closing time should mean that additional customers aren't admitted after this time. It shouldn't mean that already-dining customers are made to feel unwanted and rushed. We gathered up our food and went outside. At promptly 9:00 (maybe even 8:59), the lights were turned off, and we observed employees already leaving the facility from the west door. In general, I feel that the staff last night was grouchy and impatient. The treatment we received spoiled what was supposed to be a fun occasion. We have been customers for many years, but this experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I'll be in no hurry to go back for their over-priced food. Moral to the story: Don't go to Juniper Take-out during the last hour before close. read more

Not a bad place to grab a bite. Went here with a family member who likes this restaurant. I placed my order and was given a number. I received my order approximately 8 to 10 minutes later. I had the fish sandwich and fries. Restaurant was probably 1/2 full when we stopped to eat. Fries were warm at best but the fish sandwich was pretty good. Service was right up there and all of the staff were friendly and professional. My family member enjoys their Gluten Free menu items. Serving sizes are average. I have always thought the food here was excellent, however recently had a large order of both the beef and the fried chicken. The chicken was absolutely flavorless no seasoning at all and the beef was bottom round sliced fairly thick, and overdone. The other sides were fine and the rolls so delicious. Their traditional "meat and potatoes" style items on the menu attract a loyal crowd of seniors who know quality when they see it. My grandpa loves him some rainbow trout - Me as well! My wife loves the tomato macaroni soup. Their proprietary recipe is not recorded on paper or shared with anybody; not even the employees. The owners make it fresh daily. It's a must try if you love soup. In addition to the excellent food, Juniper has quality service. The employees are always upbeat, happy, and professional. Quite an interesting menu - everything from ribeye to salmon nuggets. Very reasonably priced and they have Iron Port on tap, which was only one of the unusual artisan offerings - a lot of choices not normally found on tap. Husband had sourdough steak sandwich w/fries. Fries were very good, and their fry sauce seemed to have more seasoning than the ones we've had. He loved the sandwich. I had the roasted pit ham plate w/green beans, au gratin potatoes and a roll. The roll was a yeast roll served with sweet butter. The green beans were bland, and the ham dry, but the au gratin potatoes were amazing! Lot of cheese and flavor. Meal came with a small dipping portion of something between the texture apple pie filling and fried apples. I used it to dip my ham and it made a huge difference. Very busy place; meal took about 15 min to arrive after placement. We'll probably be back, just so I can try some of the soups and the salmon nuggets. :) read more

I called in a burger for take out and all that was on was onions, pickles and mustard NO lettuce or tomato not even ketchup! I called them and the girl says oh if you order a burger that is how they come and you have to order a deluxe... SERIOULSY?! If I were to had ordered a deluxe then I would think they would of added on something like onions and pickles... I still attempted to eat the burger and it flat out it was just very plain not much taste to the burger on a cold bun and honestly one of the worst burgers I have had. I came here for lunch with my staff from work on a Wednesday around noon. Although it looked semi-busy, the wait wasn't bad and everyone got their food in a timely manner. I ordered a half order of the turkey salad and sweet potato fries, which came on a bigger plate than I expected. Both were filling and the turkey salad tasted similar to chicken salad with a nice texture amongst the celery, grapes and crushed almonds. This is a popular place right in the heart of downtown Logan. The other reiviewers are right about the pricing. It is a very spendy option for what you get. This had me leaning towards a three star rating, but then I thought about the tomato macaroni soup. Seriously worth the additional star just for that. There were many toppings included in the sandwiches, the 'steak and cheese' was actually just a hamburger patty with a slice of cheese. We were expecting something more like a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Gluten free paradise for those missing out on "real" foods - like turkey steaks! Sweet Baby Jesus... was just there, and I'm already craving one again. (Darn manfriend who is originally from the area introduced me to turkey steaks 5 years ago, and then about 4 years ago, I had to go GF due to migraines - I have missed them so!) They have a HUGE gluten free menu including sandwiches, dinners (GRAVY!!!) and desserts. Also, they do NOT charge extra for the GF menu, as most places do! Even have GF dinner rolls (swoon!)! Being from Seattle, I thought the prices were decent - didn't seem out of the ball park for a good meal from a family owned place. I like to support the local small business owners, even if I pay a $1 or 2 extra for my meal.
