I used my home owner's warranty to utilize Grade A plumbing services, and it was a pleasant and efficient experience. I had a leaking faucet, a low water pressure faucet, and a laundry room tub that was overflowing for at least 6 months. Scheduling was prompt. Larry, my plumber, arrived on time and fixed 2 of the three issues in about an hour. The third issue warranted the ordering of a part, which was received within a short period of time. Larry quickly identified that the part was faulty, reordered it, and came back quickly after the holidays to replace it. All fixes were explained, and there were no extra hidden costs. As a homeowner, sometimes finding trustworthy contractors/businesses can be risky, but Grade A plumbing came through and did the work I needed when I needed it with no issues. Horrible Customer service. Stay far away. I would not have went with this trash company if it wasn't for American Home services referring us to this company. It was so hard to make an appointment since they never answer their call nor give a call back when asked. After calling multiple times, we were finally able to make an appointment for Friday. Today at 3:46PM someone from grade A plumbing give me a call and introduce themselves then hung up. I called back, no answer so I left a voicemail. I then call them back at 4:22PM and this lady picks up and I explain the situation, she looks up my address and hangs up??????? I call back and ask them not to hang up on me again then the lady gets super defensive and says she never called me??? I said you just called me and I need to know why. Then she keep saying "I didn't call you I didn't call you, it's probably my coworker that called you" I then told her "So someone from your company did call me" After exchanging more words, I told her to stop giving me attitude and this is poor customer service. Grade A Plumbing was assigned by AHS warranty company because of a water heater pilot problem. It needed a new thermal switch but Matt lied and said the switch wasn't approved by AHS (turns out it was) but that he'd fix it "as a courtesy" if I paid him $545 to modify the venting. Before he came out I asked Johanna if someone could explain the venting/cost and she said I'd get a call before they came out, but no one ever called me as promised. Mind you, I wasn't having the water heater replaced. It just needed a new $20 thermal switch. In the meantime he bypassed the switch with a paperclip and left it that way as he raised his voice and stormed out of the house, repairing nothing, not even what the warranty company covered. He disconnected the thermal switch and bypassed it with a paperclip and left it that way which is presumedly unsafe. I would steer clear of Grade A Plumbing and request a different plumbing company if they were to be assigned to me by AHS. *UPDATE* HSA sent out another plumber to check the work Grade A Plumbing did. It wasn't good news. Apparently the modification tank wasn't braced and is put in on the wrong spot. The wiring should have a protective piece on it but they didn't put it on. The release valve should be 6" off the ground but Grade A Plumbing has it almost 3 FEET off the ground. Basically what Grade A Plumbing did is NOT up to code! Again the bad reviews definitely reflect the poor job this company does. It's horrible!! read more

Grab the wine...because this one's a doozie. I came home from vacation to a leaking hot water heater ("WH") which is located in my attic. I thankfully have a home warranty policy and so I got assigned Grade A through them. I made my call Sat night and Grade A could only schedule to come assess the damage on Tues (5/1) Let me tell you right now that calling Grade A is a nightmare. No one ever answers and when I tell you I had to call at least 5 times just to schedule the first appointment I'm not lying (see photos). I had already told them the WH was leaking, but of course protocol means they have to come look at it first. Ok, fine. They come on Tues (5/1) and confirm my issue. My technician/plumber, Ken, had to order a special sized WH and then informed me that new "piping work would have to be completed as well." not under warranty so...I'm paying $250 to complete "piping work." My WH was ordered and I was told it would come by the following week (we're going on 1 whole week without hot water at this point ladies and gentlemen). I called my warranty company and they actually confirmed that it would be delivered to Grade A by Sat (so only 4 days later and not a whole week). I called them FIRST THING Mon morning to schedule the installation. (see photo of being put on hold for at least 5 minutes just to schedule the installation). Day of install (5/8): I was assured there would be no issues as they claimed to 'have been at my building within the last year and my HOA would have their insurance policy on file." Ken arrives with his apprentice and they are allowed into my apartment. I find out AFTER THE FACT from the maintenance staff that they indeed did NOT have the proper insurance for the job and they had NOT been at our building within the last year, but my HOA allowed them to work in my apartment b/c at this point I'm going on 10 days without hot water. So ... Grade A lied to me, Awesome. After they completed the job they called for payment RIGHT AWAY (of course they did). I answered and told Ken that I would go home after work, inspect the WH, and then he could call me in the evening and I'd pay the $250. That evening I come home to my door unlocked and open. Couldn't even lock the door behind you? thank god I'm in a secure bldg. w/e i pay the $250. Fast forward three weeks later (5/24), after I notice water coming from my sprinkler system (remember I said my WH is in the attic), I open up my attic and notice water leaking everywhere. My first thought was of course its the WH, but THEN I notice the drip pan isn't wet. I trace the water's origin point to the right of the WH.... to an EXPOSED PIPE attached to my AC unit (see photo). I freak out because my first thought is that Grade A cut this specific pipe negligently and now the condensation line is open and leaking everywhere! I'm so lost and confused!!! I am furious at this point and honestly I felt so taken advantage of.... why? because Grade A had CHARGED me for 'piping work' and they realigned all of this specific piping (see photos of all the piping). B/c Mon everyone was closed for Memorial Day weekend (I know... I have the BEST LUCK), I call them Tues (5/29) (see photos of my 10 attempts - can't make this stuff up ppl). FINALLY I'm connected and I tell the receptionist of the issue. I tell her how I will need assistance TODAY because there is a legit open pipe in my attic and this needs to be rectified immediately. I inform her that maintenance is only at the building until 3pm, but I am only given a 11am-3pm window by Grade A. I am assigned a different guy who calls at 2:30pm to let me know he's on his way. I tell him thats a shame because by the time he arrives to my bldg. maintenance will be gone and now I'm out another day without the AC. I call Grade A back and am hit with the worst customer service ever. I told the receptionist (and later the owner's wife) that I should have been a priority for them & that piping for a different unit was touched and caused this whole issue! I told them the job needed to be completed before 3pm. She had the audacity to tell me that "most of the time customers are home when they schedule work." Oh I'm SORRY Grade A, but I have a job and bills to pay.... then I was told, "if I'm not happy with their services to find someone else to fix the problem." This is after I gave them $250 for PIPING work and was left with BAD PIPING WORK. At this point my entire trust in the company was gone. I didn't trust anyone coming into my home and furthermore I just felt so taken advantage of it made me sick to my stomach. I ended up relying on the maintenance staff in my bldg. He fixed it and told me that it looks like when Grade A came to fix my WH they messed with the piping to my AC unit. The "open pipe" came off the AC unit and without reattaching it to the new piping THEY INSTALLED with a "T" connector, they just decided to leave it "as is". Grade A? WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I was assigned "Grade A Plumbing" as my contractor through American Home Shield for a water heater replacement. They came out for the first appointment quickly, but attempted to tack on out of pocket modifications to the order to help make themselves some extra money on the call (assuming AHS doesn't pay them a ton, so they make up for it by charging customers things they don't need). They added charges for things to "bring it up to code" but I called their bluff by going to my Town's inspector - the actual guy who is signing off on the job and he said it was all nonsense - unneeded charges. They weren't happy and refused to do the job if they couldn't add on the upsells as it wasn't worth their time. Due to the fact I wasn't willing to take their added charges - Grade A dragged their feet with this repair leaving me without hot water for OVER A MONTH. This has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a plumber. The girls that answer the phone are snippy and rude, and the manager is never in the office nor returns calls back. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! I had a warranty replacement approved for my disposal but the Grade A Plumbing tech, and the company owner, would not do the work unless I agreed to pay them $595 to replace a simple S-Trap (see picture). Basically this is EXTORTION so I had to kick them off my property. He said it was a two hour job! Are you kidding me!? Look at the picture. This means Grade A Plumbing hires INCOMPETENT plumbers, or they are incredibly dishonest. Considering the plumber got permission from the owner to present this price to me...I assume both. I bought the necessary Copper DWV Cup x Slip-Joint Trap Adapter Fitting for $18 and the piping for about $10. I expect the job will take me (not a plumber) about 20 minutes. Please read the full review, tl;dr: I had a horrible experience, and they have terrible reviews on Yelp, not sure how the google reviews are so great. I was assigned Grade A Plumbing through my home warranty AHS. I noticed a leak in my garbage disposal, and after a few weeks of observation and confirmation (it happened under certain conditions), I put in a service request this past Saturday. The company promptly contacted me on Monday morning and set up a service appt for the same day, it was amazing! But it went downhill from there. The tech (Marsailes) arrived promptly on the scheduled time. However, right from the very first interaction, he was rude and aggressive. Like there was something wrong, and he had better things to do, and I had forced him to come for service and was making up an issue. He walks over to the garbage disposal and does some very basic sink usage, and claims there is no leak, and unless he can see the leak live (no photos would do) he cannot do anything about it. He was being extremely rude and aggressive. Trying to make me feel like I was wasting his time. And I explicitly told him, I paid a 100 dollar dispatch fee, and I wouldn't do this for fun, if I didnt think there is a leak. So I reproduce the leak for him, by showing how under heavy water load conditions the sink would leak water from the side and bottom, and tell him if that is considered a leak. And if it is not I understand and he doesnt have to do anything, otherwise he needs to address it. It is as simple as that. He gets defensive about it, saying he will have to talk to his boss. He calls his boss, and I guess his boss approved the replacement. He comes back with 2 tattered boxed garbage disposal and pushes me into a choice between the 2 and he won't waste any more time here. I choose one, during the install he manages to break the new disposal, so he then gives me the upgraded disposal so he can be done with the job. (He did make a phone call to his boss that he messed up, and to deduct the price of the upgraded disposal from his paycheck). He unscrews my old disposal and simply replaces it by mounting the new disposal in it's place. He does not check the plumbers putty, or sink flange seal of the drain, does not check the mounting bracket, or replace the p trap hardware. Just reuses all the same stuff, but does not verify leaks or seals or conditions of them. And then wipes up some of the water and just leaves in a huff. All throughout he is rude and aggressive and makes it seem like his time is being wasted. Note that this my first time ever dealing with him, his company and a plumbing repair through the company. After he leaves, after our night use of the sink, I notice that the p-trap has a small leak through the slip joint washer near the drain outlet. Now I am reluctant to even call this company to address the issue, in case they break something or do an even worse job. The disposal is fine so far. But I noticed that the sink flange is slightly misaligned and the plumber putty seems to have come out from the sides a little. Not sure if it will cause problems later down the road, but I dont want this tech or company to address it. Please avoid the company, or at least the tech. Run away. Zero stars. Terrible service. They don't even know plumbing. They replaced cartridge with a knock off brand so they could save a few bucks, and created a secondary issue. I called a real plumber who came out and put in a Moen brand cartridge and fixed the problem immediately. Called the OWNER for resolution regarding his team's work, and he hung up on me. One star is too many. My suggestion is to stay away at all costs. They came to my house for two different items: first was an external sewer line. They wanted a huge sum to dig up and replace my sewer line. I called two other plumbers who were each around half the price for the same work. They figured they had me in an emergency and could charge whatever they wanted. I finally called a plumber who said that he could unclog it using hydrojet. That saved me a ton. On the second problem, I had a water leak in the wall behind the toilet. They had me wait all day way past their agreed-upon service window. Then they called and said that they would not be out It was after 4:00pm on a Tuesday. Making it extremely difficult and expensive to get someone else out on the same day. These guys are unfair, they are not reliable, they take advantage of customers who are up against a bad problem and they price gouge. When you call to complain, the supervisor won't even take your call - they are too busy. Grade "F". read more

Go with another company. You can never get a hold of someone who can answer your questions and they do not return calls. If someone does pick up, they have no answers - they just refer you tho the plumber who came out. Good luck getting a hold of them... Seems to be a pattern, I also have AHS who is using Grade A Plumbing. I placed a service request in for a sewage pump. ( already checked with AHS to make sure that I was covered.) I have a GOLD plan which covers that and I have to pay MORE money when the trade comes out... not sure why... I received a notice for scheduling the very next day. However they could not make it out to the house until 5 days after the request had been placed. The technician called, was right on schedule very nice and knowledgeable. After he took the pump out and inspected it he agreed that the float was bad and the pump needed to be replaced. He also double checked with AHS to make sure I was covered. Right away he asked informed me that AHS will only allow them to install a builders grade unit. He said that Grad A could sell me a better quality unit that I would have to pay for. He also had trouble taking the pump out due to the way the existing plumbing was installed. He asked if I would like a price to have them redo that work. I agreed to getting a price to redo the plumbing, but turned down the better quality pump. I then found out that even though I placed the request to replace the pump he did not bring one. He explained that he was only there to asses and make sure it was covered under the AHS service plan. He also said that his boss wanted to come out and giver me a price to redo the plumbing, He also agreed that the plumbing did not cause an issue and that redo the plumbing would make it easier to work on. I told him that's fine they can give me a price but to please come out with a PUMP ASAP since I have not been able to flush a toilet, shower or wash clothed for 5 days now. I then called their office to make sure that they can return with a pump. This is where things really got out of hand. I was informed by a very rude and attitude riddle female that they had to send a more qualified technician out to asses the pump. I tried to explain what was going on and she basically would not listen to anything I had to say and the rudely asked if I wanted their service or not?... I then called AHS to try to get AHS to have their contractor Grad A out ASAP to replace the Sewage pump that I am covered for and they already tested to be bad. When AHS called Grade a Grade A told them that there was a problem with the plumbing and needed to be assessed AHS asked if the pipe collapsed.. I asked to speak to Managers at Grad A Plumbing and AHS yesterday. Today now Day 6 of not flushing a toilet I still have not heard back from anyone. If I had a choice of who to use for my plumbing repair ..It certainly would NOT be Grade A Plumbing. I am also going to be looking for a new home warranty outfit too. Scheduling a call right away must be their only metric actually resolving the customers issue in a timely fashion is not something they seem to be concerned about. Grade A plumbing is not to be trusted. They seem to be the only company affiliated with my home warranty carrier. They have been sent to my house 4 times and each time has been a joke. They were sent to replace a faucet cartridge and faucet handle in a bathroom. They said they had to order parts, then they said the parts were on back order, then they said the faucet handle was not in stock and a new batch was being "manufactured". I called the company and they said the cartridge was warrantied for life and immediately sent hot and cold replacements. They also said that they had 278 of the faucet levers on hand and they were never out of stock. They used an after market shower diverter in the main bathroom which failed within 6 months. They add on fees and try to upsell you. If you don't go for the upsell they do not have the time of day for you and their service level drops from one star to a negative. I am assuming they are not happy with the payment agreement and run their upsell scan to increase profits. Just a bunch of scammers. If you are dealing with a home warranty company and they are the company you must go with take the cash in lieu. You'll be better off in the long run. read more

The only thing this company has going for itself, is the initial quick response to answer a phone. They did dispatch a plumber that same day, however, what insued once the plumber arrived is something NO female homeowner should ever have to deal with! My water heater was leaking and Larry Park, the "professional", stated EVEN though my water heater is still under warranty, I canNOT replace it with the same one. He tried to tell me there is lead in my pipes, and the township inspector will NEVER approve a replacement for the same water heater. That it is for commercial use, not residential. Not only that. I AM looking at an estimate of $9,950. That is for a replacement water heater STILL under warranty. Also, lead has not been used since the 70s. I used this "business" for a quote. However, after they gave me that horrendous quote, I went with someone else. Useless. We were clear in our description of the problem. The main drain was slowly backing up. We knew this because we opened the cleanout access cover and could see the standing water. The two young men, Earl and backup guy, walked toward the house with a plunger and a chemical. A plunger for a main drain? Are you kidding me? And chemicals? NO! After convincing them they needed an electric sewer snake/auger they got one from the truck. They put it through the pipe without any head or cutter on it. Guess what happened....nothing. Before you use this Plummer check their Better Bussiness Bureaus rating (.Grade F) for poor customer service and work ethics. I made the mistake not checking this. I needed a water heater replaced days before Christmas, it's now a day before NYE and I'm still waiting. I understand things happen however after waiting hours passed the appoint while patiently maintaining contact with them for status, the Plummer's never arrived yet claimed I was not responding. Several days later they contacted me to reschedule and erroneously claimed The plumber tried to reach me and waited for me to call him for 30 min. I waited 4 hours past the scheduled appointment and attempted to call the Plummer directly who continued to send my call to voice mail. Something I considered highly unprofessional . Instead of trying to resolve this issue and listen to the customers she hung up and refused to answer any of my calls claiming I was being rude. I will admit I was frustrated at a lost day and mainly at the Plummer for lying he waited for me. The mistake was not listening to a simple request not to keep me waiting all day again and claiming I was lying. All this after I had proof after receiving an email with an invoice from the Plummer ( Mathew O'Grady) claiming the work was completed . It became clear why they were assigned a Grade F . Had the pleasure of working with this company through American Home Shield. We had a water dripping from a cracked pipe that is within the walls behind the hot water heater. The cost to disconnect the hot water heater for diagnosis - $295. The cost to disconnect the hot water heater for repair - another $295. I paid them $345 to disconnect the water heater and not to put it back until they complete the repair. Now they wanted an additional $650 to "access" the pipe because the pipe that has the crack is connected to another pipe. I am not aware of any homes with just one continuous pipeline. What do I know! I had previously worked with this company outside of American Home Shield (AHS) and found them to be reasonable. It looks like Grade A Plumbing knows how to exploit the system and work the loophole when a client goes through AHS. I can do very little to fight this as AHS is equally horrible! My hope is that this review will help potential clients make a smarter decision. P.s. Still waiting for a copy of my invoice and the diagnosis. The work that they did was good. Nothing leaks, and my new hot water heater works. However, they charged me an extra 125$ for a "gas line modification" which was not a modification at all. They put on a flex hose like you would on the back of a gas dryer. The warranty company does not cover gas line modifications, so they didn't cover it. The warranty company does however cover installation of the water heater, which was all this was. When I confronted the technician about it, he said, "were plumbers, we charge for every little thing we can" and said that there were 100 other receipts that they could show us that have the same charge for the same thing. Just because you do it a lot doesn't mean that it is right. I was happy until seeing the ridiculous charge for putting on a flex hose. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well as continuing to follow up with my home warranty company. Again, this is not a modification, it's a connection. I told them that would be impossible because I would never have any screws or anything like that in my kitchen and just like the other reviews the Technician said that the warranty company would not cover it but they could replace it for $425 what a scam they get 75.00 to come out. Have you ever worked with or known someone who was not a great person and then you meet their spouse and think "she's really too good for him." Me neither. Birds of a feather tend to indeed flock together. Or, at least, a bird without much self confidence or ability find refuge where they can find it. It would take an academic paper to untangle the unhealthy relationship that exists between American home shield and this company. Is it the bad policies of AHS or Grade A? One never knows but in the end it's broken promises, different tales of who wronged who, and the sheer self absorption that is the stuff of teenage romance. When will the part arrive to fix my hot water heater? Definitely this week. No next week. No sorry two weeks still. The lies of the plumber are responded to by AHS like someone engaged in Stockholm syndrome; ride or die: you want hot water they just say if loving Grade A plumbing is wrong I don't want to be right. All the while you feel like the therapist, not treated like a customer. I've personally quit this toxic relationship and called someone else. They may break up. They may see other people not customers of AHS. However unless they get the kind of therapy that in the business world is "under new management", I'd swipe right. read more

Ok so I read all the reviews and just like they said American Home Shield sent the them out to fix a slow/clogged drain. They didn't come in the time widow they provided but they did call to let me know that technician Steve was running late. When Steve arrived he was courteous and apologized for being late. He went down to look at the laundry tub where we were having the problem. He asked what was the debris in the sink was and we said we didn't know. Let me say their is a space where the wall is slightly crumbling by that is being fixed by Jamison's Concrete and I will write a review later on how that goes. But that is NOT what is in the sink. He then tells me that I have lead piping from when the house was probably built if he plunged it which I had already done that it might break the band at the sink and start a leak. Tells me normal plumber should have replaced even though there is nothing wrong with it. Steve then goes on to tell me that he would have to take the piping apart to get to the clog and that he needed to go call his boss and he left the phone in the truck . About a 1/2 hour later, Steve returns and I am getting a call from AHS at the same time that they will not cover the claim as it is not due to normal wear and tear and that it would be approximately $2600 to repair and that they would remove my laundry tub because they felt I didn't need it. Never received the quote that Steve assured me, he emailed me. But the plumber who came just 3 days after Steve, asked me a few more questions and had me run water from the kitchen. And guess what we discovered, it is a clogged drain and the debris in the laundry tub is a back up from the kitchen sink. Drain guys is coming tomorrow for 1/3 the price of $2600.00 and is unclogging the drain that is normal wear and tear. So Steve would have had us replace/ remove piping and laundry tub and dig up the concrete floor for what? Thanks Grade A Plumbing for your grade F work for me. My hot water heater was leaking ( AHS had Grade A put it in 2 years ago). AHS again sent Grade A to make the repair. Grade A said I needed to replace the home water pressure regulator before they could replace the hot water heater. AHS said I would have to pay $1,450 to fix regulator. Another plumber is replacing regulator for $350. Grade A plumbing cannot be trusted. read more

We called Grade A at the recommendation of a neighbor for a leak in our kitchen sink. There was nothing wrong with the plumber they sent - he was polite and worked through the issue. However, the cost and the transparency from the company was absolutely horrible. We were charged $800 for 2.5 hours of work. When we asked for a breakdown between labor and materials it was treated like an inconvenience. In the end, two supply lines cost $100 and the labor was an insane $700. The sink leaked again a day later and we had to call a different, trusted plumber. Don't waste your hard earned money with this company. read more

Another victim of AHS assignment. Had leak under sink. Came out and diagnosed it was my reverse osmosis leaking. Said it wasn't covered so he couldn't do anything. I paid $100, and called my plumber. He kindly arrived same day, actually asked me if I still used that equipment, said, haven't in 8 years, so he flipped a switch and disconnected. 10 seconds later, no leak. I tried to remedy with these guys, even spoke to "a manager" and they said they only get reimbursed to diagnose, and since not covered, "not allowed to touch it even if just to turn off". I know that is incorrect as I have had AHS for 20 years and most every contractor dispatched has helped me if this simple. They were rude when I called, and they are definitely going on my do not call list! read more

This is probably the worst company I have ever been assigned by AHS. The technician was rude, incompetent, and disrespectful. The company office was rude, unresponsive, and uneducated. In addition, the problem was not repaired. If I had the option for no stars I would have selected. Please beware, get another contractor!!! read more

I would not recommend Grade A Plumbing. The technician they sent out, Larry, damaged our ceiling and access panel to the attic and did not notify us of this when it happened. He just left. I called the company to file a complaint and the agent that answered just recorded the information and said that the owner would give me a call, which he has yet to do. Grade A are a bunch of scam artists! They were contacted by my home warranty company to come out and take a look at an issue with my main drain. They kept having to reschedule because their other jobs kept taking longer than expected. I told the person on the phone not to worry and said I could save us both time if he let me know whether or not replacing the drain, which was in some concrete, would be covered by the warranty. He said no because of the concrete and we canceled the service call. I called the warranty company again when I received a bill for the service that I never had done. After waiting on hold for an hour, I told them that the tech from Grade A never came. A month or so later another bill arrived. Again I waited an hour on the phone and the person on the other side told me that Grade A claims that I no-showed the appointment! They told the warranty company that they came to my door and I didn't answer. I let them know that could not possibly be true and that the tech never even made his way over to my place. I refused to pay the service fee for a job that I never had done. I will never use my warranty again, and certainly won't use Grade A ever. Avoid these scammers like the plague! read more

A gas leak was detected at a "coupling" between two pipes in our house. Grade A came out and applied a sealant gunk and were done. All seemed well until the next winter (this specific pipe was feeding our furnace) when the smell of gas reappeared. I called Grade A again, since the leak was in the same place they had "fixed" the previous year. I assumed they might stand behind their work and not charge me anything (i did not renew my home warranty), i assumed wrong. I paid ~$200 for them to "fix" this coupling EXACTLY how they had before. I asked "since you're doing the same thing you did last time how do i know this won't just start leaking again in a year". They told me I had no guarantee, the stuff could dry out and crack and they gave me a quote to replace the iron pipe with newer flexible piping. I got two other quotes to replace the gas line (one from a high school friend that has been plumbing with the family business since birth) and they both said the same thing. The sealant Grade A applied is a cheap fix and it's probably still leaking, the coupling was actually a piece the pipe was shipped with to protect the threading and should have been replaced with a union (something even the PECO guy said which i mentioned to Grade A and was ignored). Essentially they put a band-aid on the problem and did a hack job... TWICE. What bother's me the most is that this was a GAS LEAK. Grade A, either through incompetence or through greed/laziness, put my 8 month old son, my wife and i in danger. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. My garbage disposal wasn't working, so I hit the red reset button, but that didn't fix the problem. My wife called our home warranty company and they dispatched Grade A. The guy who showed up (Luke) was very nice and said he knew what the issue is and used an Allen wrench to fix it in less than 5 minutes. He seemed amused and said that they never let people know over the phone to try this simple fix. Instead, they collect their $100 fee. The guy in their office who collected my credit card info was very happy until I told him that I intend to post my experience on Yelp. That is when he started yelling at me. I guess he doesn't like suckers like me letting other potential "marks" onto their racket. Don't use these guys! They won't alert you if there is a quick fix. I was referred to them for service during temps of 12 degrees and below (1/4/16) for emergency service when my hot water heater went out. Keep in mind my hot water heater is also my residences source of heat as its a heat pump system. I have now have had neither for 5 days. They keep saying they are waiting on a UPS delivery for a part. I went and contacted the manufacturer, identified the needed part, and found it IN STOCK at FOUR different plumbing supply houses near me This is a very poor and unprofessional plumbing service that doesn't mind keeping their customers out in the freezing cold. All they are concerned with is their service fees. They rarely answer their phones. I am now coming down with a sickness due to no warmth for an extended period of time. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB and with 2-10 home warranty. You've been warned. read more

Grade A is not an appropriate name for this Company! It should be Grade F---- instead. Daniel came out for a warranty call and tried to scam us to replace the entire drain line (for the garbage disposal) for an additional $475 on top of the $100 we've already paid. It is a pretty good scam if they just go around collecting $100 for each job and never actually do any work or overly charge for work that doesn't need to be done. I ended up calling another plumber to just fix the leak for less than $100 (which was part of the disposal to begin with and should have been covered). Don't ever use these guys (especially Daniel) from this Company. American Home Shield should never call upon this Company ever! I've had The Grade A crew a few times over the last few years but the last two times they really went above and beyond. Last fall our pipes in the basement burst and Ken was able to come out same night and access the situation, unfortunately not much could be done because the part that needed fixing had to come from my county municipal authority. But I was able to get the part the very next morning and Ken came back to do a fantastic job! Very courteous, professional, and efficient! Great guy! And just this week our bathroom faucets started leaking. I called on Monday and they were able to send Murray today! So thankful we didn't have to put off this fix, I know with other companies I'd be waiting a minimum of a week. Murray, too, was awesome, professional, clean,efficient and polite! Couldn't be happier with the great customer service at the office and from Adam! I'm definitely a forever customer. May 2019- Yet another plumbing emergency, this time my water heater. With 3 little ones, this is not something I can put off. It happened late Sunday night, I called Monday midday, they were able to schedule a visit same day. Within 2 hours they were over and diagnosed my leaking WH. They temporarily, fixed it so we aren't left out to dry. Today they come back with the new unit. They were punctual, efficient and knowledgeable. They arrived when they said and stayed for as long as they said. Yet again. Grade A Plumbing blows my mind with their knowledgeable, expertise, competitive pricing, and efficiency. Forever grateful, forever customer. read more
