Some time ago I called Luke Weidman to service my heater for the winter (he has done it before). I made an appointment for to day Thursday October 24 and requested morning. Yesterday I called office to confirm. Julie sent me a text confirming appointment with Alex for between 8 and 10 am. no one ever showed up or called. I called at 1:30 and inquired to answering machine. I have received no response or explanation. This is the second time in a year that this has happened. I've had Luke Weidemann come out to my home on 4 different occasions over the last few years, all for different problems. The company has replaced 2 toilets, a sump pump, and fixed a clogged laundry tub sink. Our shower valve had been sputtering, but it totally gave out today. I reached out to Julie in their office and she contacted David, the owner, who added our problem to the end of his work day on a Friday. He and his teammate removed the bad faucet and promised to return first thing the next morning. We soon got a call that they had located a replacement and were coming back today because they just couldn't leave us without a shower! Yeah. No. Have been waiting 10 months for them to bring my chimney cap back to me. I have already paid the $6 and have called the technician as well as the office multiple times. 10 MONTHS?? Are we serious here guys? Will NOT be calling them back and will strongly suggest to people i know in and around Abington, PA to not bother since they don't bother calling customers back or giving them items they have paid for already. Luke Weidemann Plumbing Heating and AC was recommended to me, so I decided to give them a call. We had a pipe that burst in the winter and needed a repair. A gentleman came out, *fixed it right up, and went on his way. Wait... actually.... he did a couple other things while he was here that he thought would be great for winterizing our home the following year; I was pleased. However, the following Spring, when I turned on the water to those pipes.... I heard water spraying all over the place. The pipe that had been repaired had actually come apart. I called up Luke Weidemann Plumbing Heating and AC and the same gentleman who had originally come out to *fix up the pipe was out in a jiffy to fix this problem right up. Ok... mistakes happen..... I get it. So I was pleased. Hey, they didn't charge me for the second visit. A year or so later, there was another plumbing related issue in my home, so I naturally called Luke Weidemann Plumbing Heating & AC. This time, another gentleman came out to my home, and this time, he was accompanied by a young apprentice. They assessed the problem, and said they would order the parts necessary to *fix my problem, and were on their way. However, a week or so later.... I had not heard back from Luke Weidemann Plumbing Heating & AC... so I called and left a message. No one responded, so I had to look elsewhere to resolve my plumbing issue. Fast forward a year later. I thought I'd give Luke Weidemann Plumbing Heating & AC another chance. That first gentleman, although he messed up with the job, was really nice and came out to fix it pronto. This time, it was to resolve a heating issue at my home. I had already had two other "heating" companies out to check out my problem, and I thought, well.... let's see if Luke Weidemann Plumbing Heating & AC was up for the task. The same gentleman who had come out a year earlier to assess my plumbing situation was out the next day, apprentice in tow. He assessed the issue I was having, did a few things that he thought would already solve the problem, took down the model of my furnace so he could order a couple of "cheap" parts that he didn't think were necessary but would order and replace since they were "cheap".... and was on his way. A couple weeks later..... "The parts are on back order." A couple weeks more..... the office manger, "I'll speak with the person who does the ordering and get back to you right away". The next night.... problems with the furnace again. I call the gentleman who had come out, now a month ago, and let him know the problem is definitely not fixed. A month later....... (now 2 months after initial visit).... I call the office manager, no answer, leave voice mail. Call the "tech" gentleman, ....mailbox full. Two days later, I get the "tech" on the phone. He informs me that he's on his way back to the office and will give me a call to let me know the status of the parts that he ordered. It's now 11 days after that last phone call. That's 43 days from initial visit. I'm 100% satisfied with the fact that I will never contact Luke Weidemann Plumbing Heating and AC ever again. If you are into waiting for things to happen, then hands down this company is the best; I couldn't recommend them more. Their ability to operate a business where they don't call back customers and don't complete jobs is honestly impressive. read more

Several neighbors highly recommended Luke Weidemann and we're very fortunate they did! Alex, David, and their team did great work and are remarkable people. They're efficient, professional, and we're very impressed with how clean and precise their work is from the demolition to the final touches. Another thing, asked Alex rather last minute if they could replace an older toilet in half-bath when here doing the new plumbing for washer/dryer. He made it happen. If you ever have an issue with your plumbing (or heating and AC) call these guys. The woman who helped me over the phone was truly helpful. She listened to everything and said I'll call you right back and she did. She was also able to schedule someone to come either that evening or the following morning. I opted for that evening. When Alex came he was very knowledgeable and professional. He looked at everything before deciding which direction to go. He was here 2 hours everything was fixed (as well as cleaned up) and I couldn't be happier. The price was very reasonable for all the time and care he put into doing a job right. He even explained things so in the future I understand more of what I need and what they can realistically do among other things. I highly recommend!!! read more

Im not sure what happened but they used to be responsive and reliable. Several months ago Luke Weidemann came out and did some work, during their repair the caused another issues. They came back out, said they'd fix the repair and they would be back because they needed to order a piece for a separate leak I was experiencing. I have never written a review before but I'm so thankful Yelp led me to Weidemann Luke! I am house sitting for friends on their honeymoon and their pipes froze. I called looking for some advice and Mr. Weidemann patiently listened, asked questions, gave me some directions, and encouraged me to call back. We have had 2 plumbing issues in the last 3 months. First our hot water heater died late at night and they came out to our home at 10:30 pm and replaced it while charging us $500 less than our heating company had given us as a yearly service plan discount service! Then we started hearing a gurgling when flushing toilets in the house. Their servicemen came, inspected the entire system and determined that all was in working order. They refused to bill me for their time, even though they were at the house for 45 minutes! This is a company that cares about their clients and we would recommend them to anyone!!!! read more

Great to deal with. They scheduled with me, showed up on time, and were courteous, friendly and knowledgable. And honest. My shower in one of our baths wasn't working properly, and after spending 45 minutes diagnosing the problem, the solution turned out to be so simple, that he wouldn't taken any money after it was fixed. And that never happens. I offered repeatedly to give him money for his time, and he steadfastly refused. My shower works perfectly now, and to be honest, he could have charged me a fortune to replace something that really didn't need replacing. And he didn't. If you want an honest, trustworthy company that will try to save you some money, rather than take you to the cleaners, use these guys. I will. read more

Was a long term customer and they started to get sloppy. The last time they were supposed to come because we had no heat, they screwed up and no one showed up. The next morning when we called they sent this guy who said after he fixed problem, he did not charge me for his labor because of the mistake on their part.
