Make sure you get an estimate before these people come out to your house! Too expensive!

I used my home owner's warranty to utilize Grade A plumbing services, and it was a pleasant and…read moreefficient experience. I had a leaking faucet, a low water pressure faucet, and a laundry room tub that was overflowing for at least 6 months. Scheduling was prompt. Larry, my plumber, arrived on time and fixed 2 of the three issues in about an hour. The third issue warranted the ordering of a part, which was received within a short period of time. Larry quickly identified that the part was faulty, reordered it, and came back quickly after the holidays to replace it. All fixes were explained, and there were no extra hidden costs. As a homeowner, sometimes finding trustworthy contractors/businesses can be risky, but Grade A plumbing came through and did the work I needed when I needed it with no issues. I recommend using them for plumbing needs.

Horrible Customer service. Stay far away…read more I would not have went with this trash company if it wasn't for American Home services referring us to this company. It was so hard to make an appointment since they never answer their call nor give a call back when asked. After calling multiple times, we were finally able to make an appointment for Friday. Today at 3:46PM someone from grade A plumbing give me a call and introduce themselves then hung up. I called back, no answer so I left a voicemail. I then call them back at 4:22PM and this lady picks up and I explain the situation, she looks up my address and hangs up??????? I call back and ask them not to hang up on me again then the lady gets super defensive and says she never called me??? I said you just called me and I need to know why. Then she keep saying "I didn't call you I didn't call you, it's probably my coworker that called you" I then told her "So someone from your company did call me" After exchanging more words, I told her to stop giving me attitude and this is poor customer service. She said again no one called me and I am attacking her for no reason??? Then finally admitted that they probably called my accident. NEWSFLASH how am I suppose to know that you called me by accident? For all I know I thought your calling to confirm or cancel my appointment. Also how am I suppose to know that there are multiple people working in their office? I attached my phone record so it PROVES that this place did call me that I am not attacking them. GRADE A PLUMBING, TRAIN YOUR STAFF ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. ---------------------------------------------------- I am on the phone with AHS trying to get a different vendor and Grade A Plumbing just called and left a voicemail asking for a call back?! I am not falling for that again.

Discovered a leak where solder was used at an elbow on the cold water line to the boiler at 1830…read more The company was able to send someone out that evening, which was a blessing since other companies would only make appointments for the following day. The plumber who showed up was courteous and knowledgeable. The plumber even hung around after 10 pm just to make sure there were no issues with the repair. The reason for 4 star instead of 5 is that the leak was due to failed solder at an elbow. For some reason, their trucks are not stocked with solder rods and by the time he assessed the situation, it was too late to go to a hardware store. He ended up replacing the copper elbow, which cost a lot more money, incurred more logistics with shutting off water to the boiler, draining the line, re-pressurizing the system, and had him stay at the house for over 2 hrs when it could have been completed in 15 minutes by sweating new solder onto the pipe elbow.

They did horrible work. This was to fix the gap in a stack pipe, and removed toilet and sink and…read morerefused to place it back saying that the floor joists were faulty AFTER they already drilled into them and ran new piping for the sink, tub and toilet. Then refused to put the fixtures back, leaving me without a working bathroom at all - which was working before they came. The lead guy named "Jake" was very smart mouthed and made comments about the neighborhood which if that was an issue, he should have never taken the job and my money. AND NOW I was told by other contractors that Roto Rooter pitched the toilet drain so high above the joists that the elbow has to be totally removed. Also, that the drain pipes for the bathroom sink is too low in one area and too high in another. Furthermore, that they left the kitchen drain pipe without a "trap". Roto Rooter promised to come back if there were issues, saying I needed to repair the joists first. Since then, I've had four professional structural engineers from various companies tell me they cannot repair the floors or re-install the fixtures because of the shoddy work Roto Rooter did. When I did call Roto Rooter and spoke to the manager "Frank" he said he would get back to me to make arrangements to come out to look at the work and then ghosted me - never coming out at all. Because of this and that they refused to honor their promise I am stuck with plumbing that I would have to hire another plumber to UN-DO / remove, after paying Roto Rooter in full to do this. I was advised to sue them by various contractors over this and am stuck! THEY WERE AND EPIC FAIL ON THIS JOB!!

Edit update as of this morning:…read more I called to confirm cap was replaced as the gentleman I spoke with said it would be yesterday, I was in the office and not sure it had been done. A simple - Yes, it was and some form of notification would have been professional. Instead MANDY proceeded to grill and question me "did you not call yesterday?" "were you not home to see?" etc etc. Just say "yes it was replaced"......... I will never use this company again, due to the unprofessional manner of the front office woman. I should note that the gentleman I spoke to yesterday was completely professional and friendly - it appears to be MANDY. If I could give her negative zero stars I would. I've used this company for a couple of years, and the technicians have always been very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, communication with the office has been extremely frustrating. I left multiple messages to schedule service and received no callbacks before finally getting through. After the tanks were pumped, I again had to repeatedly call to obtain an invoice and a payment link. When I finally spoke with the woman in the office, she informed me that a tank cap had cracked during service and said it would be replaced right away. She did send a payment link, but it did not work properly--both bank and card payment links were broken and failed before submission. I continued calling and leaving messages in an attempt to pay by phone. When I finally reached her again, I was told the online payment system "works fine for everyone else," in a condescending manner, and that no one would come to replace the cracked cap until payment was received--despite my repeated attempts to pay. She also told me she could only hear "every other word" during my call to her, but oddly she seemed to capture my card number just fine without me having to repeat anything. The bill was paid immediately upon receiving a live person, but the cap issue remains unresolved. They were also to send inspection reports to the township, and based on this experience, I have concerns about whether that will actually occur. Being treated as if I were avoiding payment (its been a week since service), when I was the one consistently calling to resolve it, was disappointing. Due to the poor communication and customer service, holding my broken cap hostage for payment etc. I'll likely be taking my business elsewhere.

Frustrating experience with this business. I required septic service at our house in January this…read moreyear and Steve came out and could not locate where the drain field was on my property and made his way all the way to an elevated area almost in the neighbor's property and started digging and looking for the mounds without asking the location. When his workers came out to do the work, they went straight to the location behind the septic tank with no questions where it is located. Had another septic problem this week where they said a 1 year and 5 month pump was faulty and had to be replaced, but was under warranty. After a discussion about being charged installation fees again for a faulty pump where installation was paid when originally placed, the crew came out. Working from home I had to talk to them while on meetings, the guy asked if they could take the septic truck on to the lawn to the back of the house. I asked if it was necessary and he replied the ground was hard enough and went ahead, taking both trucks out without an opportunity to say no. They destroyed much of our landscaping efforts and destroyed a newly planted holly shrub. When I contacted Steve with pictures, I received no response so moved forward with a review.
