Some tables, plus a little wall to sit on outside. Friendly patient service. The kids tried several things. I tasted the Skyline, which is really not chili flavored. Pretty much cinnamon ice cream with what seems like pie crust chunks (actually crackers.) Not bad, not weird, not spicy. A bit of a letdown for me; I expected a challenge. I cannot believe I have never reviewed this Graeter's location which is like an Ohio staple. My old dentist used to be conveniently located across the street from here so great treat to get after teeth cleaning appointment. Just saying! Although tonight we came back to celebrate my brother's birthday and he loves a good treat. Can't go wrong with Graeters! You have so many flavors here from the classics to the seasonal favorite flavors. I always go with the classic blackberry raspberry chip as you can't go wrong with this flavor. Greater's new collab with Skyline is amazing. It was so unique we had to ry it. Stopped in the Gahanna location and was happy to find they had Skyline ice cream in stock. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is one of the most unique ice cream flavors I've ever had. It starts out with a delicious cinnamon flavor but then you get a hint of chili powder and other spices that are unmistakably Skyline chili. The oyster crackers are surprisingly still crunchy and add some salt to cut through the sweet. It is wonderfully sweet and spicy. We may need to get another pint before it's gone. Out for a cruise today and decided to drop in at Graeter's in Gahanna. Ordered the 1870 Tower: It has Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip ice cream, chocolate bundt cake, hot fudge, fresh whipped cream, pecans and a cherry. Love that Black Raspberry ice cream with huge chunks of chocolate. The Bundt cake was nice and fresh with a great chocolate taste that blended well with the ice cream. First time here. Nice quaint shop with seating inside, and some people eating outside. When I walked in, I noticed that they sell chocolate candy also. No matter where I go, I always order butter pecan --my favorite. I wanted to try a second scoop of something different, so the young lady let me sample the brown butter bourbon pecan. It had a delicious flavor, and at first, that was going to be my second flavor, but I decided to change because the pecans were not as crisp as I like; so I decided to try the midnight snack which was totally delicious! Customer service was excellent, but make sure you watch what is rung up at the cash register...the young lady was charging me for waffle cone instead of sugar cone. Graeter's is pretty well known. I've gone a few times. I like that their ice cream isn't too sweet or rich. At least not the flavors that I've had. I normally get a cone. But I've heard that their milkshakes are amazing. I decided to go with a recommendation today and got the cinnamon ice cream which is seasonal. It was pretty tasty. You can also sample any flavor that you want to make sure that you like it. The customer service isn't the greatest. No one is smiling or seems like they want to be at work. The person who served me was just waiting for me to indecisively choose my flavors so that they could go talk to their friends. If you go after any holiday, you can find their candy and none ice cream holiday items on clearance. read more

This Graeter's location is my not-so-guilty pleasure after I stop at the Target up the street (everyone deserves a treat once in a while, right?). The service is always friendly and the drive-through is quick for how long the line usually is. Almost every visit, I get their Vienna coffee ice cream in either a bowl, cup, or milkshake. If you like coffee ice cream, it is the absolute best. I have yet to find any other brand to top it. Just typing about it makes me want to take a late-night trip to Graeter's even though it's 24 degrees outside! read more

I think this location is fine they are very friendly and there is lots of seating. It does feel a bit outdated inside. Bonus is they sell dry ice for parties. I'd give the location 4 stars but the Ice Cream only 3 because Ice in general Ice Cream is amazing. Graeter's was really hyped up to me by my Ohio friends prior to moving here a few years ago but I can't say it has met the hype for me. The variety of chocolate chip options seems to be there thing and if you're into blackberries that version of chocolate chip seems super unique. It's never really grown on me after a few attempts. When you've spent a lot of time in Cincinnati, you begin to rave about certain "local" foods. Like Skyline Chili, or Grippos Potato Chips. And of course Graeter's. I remember how excited I was when I found Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip at Fresh Market in Evansville. So it's great to be back living in Ohio and be able to go anytime. But this location has a little problem (hence the lack of 5 stars) - parking. Only three spaces in front of the store? Others reserved for the medical office next door which is open until 8pm. Am I missing something? It was 7:55 so I was a scoundrel and parked in the otherwise reserved space anyhow. Service here is great, it's Peach season and the peach ice cream is to die for (what's wrong with a two scoop cone with peach and black raspberry chocolate chip?). I am not giving this Graeter's location a 3-star review because of their ice cream. Everyone knows Graeter's ice cream is delcious(and if you don't, get your taste-buds checked). I am giving this particular location 3 stars for one reason alone. THE PARKING IS AWFUL!! This inside of the place is huge and so is the awesome patio, but you have to fight for a parking space. if you're within walking distance, then that's the way to go. Otherwise, be patient in the awkward lot. The ice cream is awesome. I am wondering if the service is an issue. I bought junior scoops and was charged 3.25$ each. I don't think the junior scoop is this price as I've gotten them before. Most recently last week. I am more frustrated by the employee insisting the price of the junior scoop had increased. This is one of my fav places for hand dipped ice cream. Since we moved outta state we almost always come here when in town. It's creamy and i love the huge chunks of chocolate v. little chocolate chips. They also have home made waffle cones, milk shakes, sundaes, sorbet, and smoothies. I do wish they had more flavors. I'm spoiled by a place in KS that rocks at least 25-30 flavor choices. Graeter's does have a few seasonal flavors, but were out of 3 of the 4 during the holiday weekend (one that was out was Pumpkin Pie; about 4 people in line ahead of me were pretty bummed). Have brought my kids here SEVERAL times as this is one of their favorite spots. The line here is almost always short. The service has always been good. This place is the bomb! I love there flavors. From traditional flavors like butter pecan, or chocolate. To the wicked newer flavors like cotton candy or buckeye blitz. I have been going to this location for years. In the past it has been a nice place to visit from time to time. However recently I have been visiting alot more often. For some reason it has a more homely feeling now. The employees to the new candy displays. Which I didn't even know Graeters had candy till recently when the young lady ringing out my order pointed me in the right direction. It is amazing!
